Other than that, the poor guy has been thrown under the bus a few times. When he signed IPK 1, he signed the contract for a year (he generally doesnt do daily soaps that stretch for infinity...as we saw in IPK 3 where he committed to a year as well). When his contract was about to end, the production house convinced him to extend the contract for a few more months because everybody was milking money by that time becuase of the popularity of S1. He agreed to do so but then when the extension finished, he decided to quit the show because he was focusing on other projects at that time (which is perfectly reasonable since in Indian television, actors are generally replaced and nobody cares). However,when that happened with Barun, all the fans protested to such an extent that they said theyd not watch the show and all that if Barun left so Star Plus (not able to cope with the fan uprising) threw Barun under the bus and ran a disclaimer on their channel that since the lead actor had decided to pursue a career in Bollywood, they were shutting the show down. It was the first time I think in Indian telly history that a show had to be shut down because of somebody quitting it. And it was really not Baruns fault since obviously he has a right to do whatever he wants to do with his career. Anyhow, this incident created a huge fanwar with everyone blaming the other side. People bitched about the PH, SP and obviously Barun and Sanaya. And now, when IPK3 was launched, we saw the ugliness of people emerge again becase everybody rehashed what happened in 2012 and blamed Barun all over again.
Anyhow, lets not get into that becuase it just brings up bad memories of some people who havent grown up. but yeah, thats pretty much all I know about him lol
