okay so now I am really done with this show. and I refuse to watch a single episode till Chandani comes to know the whole truth behind Dev's tragic past. to hell with the incomplete Vms and OSs. I am done.
today was the final nail in the coffin. they literally turned this show into a KKB part 2 which I was hoping would not happen.
first of all Advay's family especially Nani are beyond understanding. they all knew that Advay was engaged and did not even mention it once to Chandani? forget that when Advay was getting married did Nani not think of telling him how he was doing wrong by his fiance back home? and seriously what is with their bitchy attitude towards a girl who would have been the daughter in law of their house if it weren't for Advay's last minute decision to marry Chandani? does no one feel that Advay has wronged Sasha by marrying Chandani?
and let us say Sasha allowed him to marry Chandani(which is not yet confirmed. it is also possible that he told Sasha about the one night marriage after he did it.) still how can everyone be behaving like she has come here to steal somebody's husband when she is here to meet with her fiance. she had claim on him first. so cheating your wife is wrong but cheating on your fiance is not?chalo let us say that all just never cared for this girl and were just waiting for Advay to throw her out of his life. fine. so now he is married to Chandani and belongs to her. fine. then why is the ever meddling Nani quiet about it. why isn't she demanding that Sasha not take her Bahu's place and claim on Advay more strongly. in this case Advay's opinions matter but otherwise they don't. how are they allowing Sasha to live in the house when Advay's wife is there too? what shit is this?
And Chandani. I toh don't get Chandani at all. I really don't. what in the world does she want. she asks for her rights as his wife coz she believes in this marriage but puts in no effort as a wife to question him of his hatred and accusations on her. so how is she his wife?
because they did some rituals together, is that why. then let me tell you, just a few days ago on another thread we were discussing if this marriage is legal and as far as I know Advay can simply prove this marriage never happened. coz every witness who is willing to confirm this wedding is only from Chandani's family. Murli will never go against Advay, Nani is blind hence her testimony does not count and Advay is rich enough to just buy off the pundit.
the reception is no proof of marriage coz tomorrow Advay can hold a reception with Sasha and claim that she is his wife. the actual ceremony and it's testimony is all that matters. also since coercion was involved this marriage is not valid even from a normal POV. the consummation never happened and there is no way to prove it happened coz again murli won't say anything and Nani's testimony does not matter. and not only can Advay claim that they were never married he can pretty much claim that the reason Chandani is still living in his house is coz she is his mistress. as harsh as it sounds he can really prove it. coz the marriage has no proof she is living on his mercy and her family is living in his house again at his mercy. how hard will it be for someone as rich as Advay to prove that?
you know once all of us friends were having a conversation about relationships in our college canteen and one of the guys said that if he is paying for the dresses his girlfriend wears than he has the right to take it off. as crude as it sounds it is the truth. Chandani is giving Advay the right to insult her. and she is being really dumb and also extremely insensitive towards his pain.
And Advay. god I hate this man. I don't understand this character anymore. his revenge was what I could connect to but the CVs made it into a child's play when he left without ever punishing the rest of the people involved in his parents murder. then we come to know that this guy has a fiance who he cheated on to marry Chandani. and now he isn't even taking a stand on which woman he wants in his life. if he wants chandani then get rid of Sasha and apologize to her and if he wants Sasha then annul the marriage with Chandani or legally prove that she is not your wife. how much more indecisive can you get? and for what reason are you being so indecisive? Advay is a cheapda of high level coz in his bid to have his revenge he wronged his fiancee too. and seriously his entire revenge against an 8 year old is disturbing in itself. at first I gave him the benefit of doubt coz he wanted revenge against the entirety of the mob that killed his parents and was going to use Chandani as a stepping stone just the way she lay the foundation to the tragedy of his life. but now he comes across as demented and completely stupid. not to mention a person with no morals and senselessly cruel. so what exactly is so appealing in this guy right now other than his looks and riches?
which brings me to leela maasi's comment back when she told Advay that Chandani now knows that he is rich and won't let go of him. Chandani is just proving Leela right. and Also Advay's assessment of her. right now to Advay Chandani is a gold digger who abandoned her baby after her affair and now is using the excuse of wanting her Dev just to leech off him.
and Chandani is extremely delusional. she actually believes her Dev won't disrespect the sanctity of the marriage vows that he took with her. has she forgotten that this was the same guy who left her after that one night marriage to come back home all ready to forget about her and live a happily ever after with his fiance. infact if Nani hadn't forcibly brought her to Mumbai he would have been happy in his life and Chandani would have been living in Allahabad or Banaras or whatever.
I have so much more to write on but yeah i'll stop here. today Chandani seriously pissed me off. and so did Advay. Chandani s not being sassy wife here. instead of throwing taunts and shades at the woman your husband claims to be his fiance why doesn't she question her own husband and demand that he respect her as his wife. instead of saying over and over again that she he is her husband why doesn't she ask him to accept that she is his wife. and if not do something about it damn it. and Advay is another paradox. he doesn't accept her as his wife but he doesn't ask her to leave or throw her out of his room. so he is insulting both the woman as each woman claims that the other is the other woman in his life. totally spineless and indecisive. and Sasha, I have no hopes from her. she is also another character who Cvs are going to butcher day in and day out going by today's episode.
