Pratham doesn't live with Gauri. They are cousins. She didn't tell anyone about chandhini being married. And Pratham never told Gauri how he felt about Chandhini.

Pratham wrote a serious love letter but chandhini thought it was a prank but Advay went caveman on her and she stopped going to academy. Gauri told Pratham that Chandhini's husband doesn't like her working in academy which made Pratham feel broken heart and guilty because he didnot know she was married in first place, otherwise he wouldn't have written the letter. He didn't say anything to Gauri and said yes to marriage to her mom's friend's daughter.
