I rarely take the torch and diss something.

I don't care if you come full throttle at my post and try telling me it's a soap, get over it. There are other shows showing more regressive shit, blah blah, I don't care. I comment on the content I watch.

I am going on a rant because I know young girls watch this show and are at an influential age where they believe what they see.

Although Chandini here has selective hearing, seeing and believing disorder.

But the fact won't change and if you think otherwise you are lying to yourself.

As a woman if you think your izzat is your virginity and the izzat of your family lies solely on that, you're living a lie.

No matter what you choose to do with your body it is yours and only yours to decide.

Before marriage if you give birth to a beautiful healthy baby you're cursed and if you do the same after signing the lease of your life away to a man you are the most blessed?

This defines your character, let me call bullshit on this.

I am not going to take the moral high road and leave watching the show cos I have a problem with something. I call it like it is. A rotten apple can spoil the whole bunch, just like a rotten plot can kill a whole show.

I absolutely agree with you dear & thanks for making this post 👏

However this is India which is still the most regressive society in the world. A society where dowry exists, arranged marriage business thrives, women are expected to ditch their old parents & tolerate all the nagging & nonsense of their in-laws. What they showed yest is regressive but also true. This is v realistic coz here women are killed (honor killing) just for falling in love. Here we are talking about premarital sex & child born outside wedlock. Its a huge taboo here. So as much I appreciate ur thoughts what the CVs showed is also a true reflection of Indian society. Cant fault them for that!

I understand where your coming from..

But this is what is happening in india where a rapist saint baba is given support by ladies in india than the victim.

Indian society is yet to accept a lady and the child who is born without a wedlock.

I am from India and no matter what happens in the society women should fight for their rights and self esteem. Each woman has the responsibility of making sure that we earn an equal place in the society in par with a man!

You have the right to choose your husband and no lady can let any man to touch her inappropriately by blackmailing her, Its unfortunate that both the writer and the producer are women and they show women as helpless, spineless and stupid.

No man how drool worthy the male lead is , it is unacceptable for me to watch a show where women are treated so disgustingly and insulted by the hero.

This show is no less regressive than Peherdar piya ki. No women will accept such a man in life. So every man will abuse the women and then redemption. Truly such men can go and hang themselves, society does not need such characters such as Advay Singh Raizada.

Sorry guys... this show is an insult to all women ! We are strong and beautiful and know how to keep away from such leeches...

true...chandni should give it back to advay when he tries shaming her for having a kid out of wedlock...but chandni herself seems to be of the view that it is a big sin if you have a child before marriage
