but what indrani doing here is two faced role...she acts sweet in front of chandu and hates her behind
even after knowing indrani is two faced women, why chandu is expecting these things?

I don't think Chandani thinks of Indrani as two faced...as such...She thinks Indrani really supports her...but she herself has not been good enough to win her love all the time...iIt is a terrible thing for kids to believe that they have to "win" the love of their parents every time...but it is true for some...

i dont understand why the CVs have these kinds of flips everytime😕😕 a day before they make Advay retrospect about his 16 yrs long hatred toward Chandni.. somehow he was mellowed toward her but with this baby track everything is back to square one.😡😡
but the good thing was that Advay did not show any disgust that Chandni is mother before marriage but his concern was that she was capable of giving up her one day old baby so easily... with the impending marriage and how he is vowing to bring the facade down from Chandni i am sure he is going to blackmail her with the baby truth to get married to her.
i am positive that though Advay has misunderstood Chandni about the baby but looking at the pace of the tracks that are moving quite fast in this soap I m sure Advay will know about the baby being Megha's soon after marriage when he will be bg taunting Chandni with the baby and she will share about the baby with him in helplessness..

I know ..right? I would have loved to see the conflicted Advay for longer...

But when you mentioned a post on Meghna-Advay-Chandni I was like, whoa. 😆 Not sure who you are referring to but I brought up the thought and it was as is, only a thought. Since many have not condoned the baby track, I was thinking aloud if the initially planned track, keeping the dark anti-hero theme in mind, would have been a better idea, as they did keep some elements from the initial dark theme intact, one being Indrani as the main antagonist. But duh, it is a tough job being in their shoes. Viewers dont endorse the baby track and they dont condone the love triangle too. Its true, its difficult pleasing everyone. 😆 And even though the show has been lightened down for obvious reasons, Meghna as the grey sister still seems to be on the script. The makers would have had plausible tracks to bring in the rift between the sisters and I did say that if its the baby track they have chosen, I would like to see what they have in mind. Lets accept it, they are here for business and whatever rakes in numbers, should be their first choice. No two ways about it. And if this track fetches the number, its a win-win for most. Who knows maybe because of this track Indrani thaws towards Chandni? A perfect number gaining recipe, imo.

I am glad they trusted their instincts and stuck with their judgement to bring in the baby track. After all they have been in the business for years and have proved their mettle a number of times before. So I for one prefer to give them the benefit of doubt and go easy on them. If they would have shown the love triangle, I would have lapped it up. Since they are going ahead with the baby track, I am fine with this too. I loved the initial promos on how the show was sold and especially the Dussehra promo, so a love triangle perhaps, would have showcased Sobti's brilliant talent as a suave player and I would have condoned it whole-heartedly. I am an easy to please viewer, which is why I buy the show without questioning it. Anyhow with Sobti being on screen, giving up is never an option. Yes, I am entitled to my likes and dislikes without having to explain myself or being shown the other perspective which is why I did say yesterday that I am not averse to the baby track at all but if we do compare the possible tracks then I would still prefer the triangle. The beauty of discussions is to appreciate the varied point of views, to each their own. A third choice too, would have perhaps been more like a fairytale one, not that it could not have fit the bill. But who knows maybe they do show a triangle later on, since it was part of the show initially. Never say never, is my motto. 😉

Anyway, since I have already written on old Sushpectives at length I will copy paste my response from your older thread. Had stated upfront that I am in the minority buying the baby track. The only thing was a contemplation wrt the earlier track. Giving up the child to the orphanage was expected in a closed society like Allahabad, where pre marital sex or rape and child-birth is still a taboo. So it does makes sense for Chandni to have kept the child away. What perhaps was not in line was her keeping this away from Meghna. She had a right to know.

Perhaps, I am in the minority who had made peace with this new track and I was looking forward to it. But I was totally expecting a character butchering of Meghna after having borne a child and delivered it. And since the track was added recently, the built-up and Meghna's introspection was all missing. The least they could have shown was her being wary of strangers at some times. Anyway, the point is, the truth about Chandni separating the child from Meghna only throws doors open for bringing in the grey shade to Meghna, as we were promised in the beginning of the show.

However, my point is they didnt have to kill the fun and bring in a baby to get Meghna to hate Chandni. I mean, she could have possibly without knowing that Advay was pursuing Chandni and that Chandni was attracted somewhere, could have been infatuated with him. And later on would have learnt the dynamics of the relationship between the leads. Its cliche but at least it was believable. This baby track is so unidirectional and leaves the characters uptight. But they have taken a non-cliche route to the sister's animosity, so there has to be more to it.

And Chandni's pursuit of solace wrt Indrani only proves that she goes onto any extent for keeping her loved ones happy. I cant even imagine what she will do when she will learn Advay is Dev. Its really magnanimous of her to do that but I was looking forward to a FL who was grey in her own way, needless to say that my attempts at understanding Chandni have been made futile, once again. There goes my dream down the drain, and the less said the better about the redemption track.

As for Advay, he is the only one whom I understand amidst the sea of people who surround him. But I am not putting it past the makers to blind him in revenge instead of rage this time as he inflicts pain on Chandni. I think Sobti said that in a BTS too. Anyway, a hate marriage is what I have signed up for, so that is the only thing I am looking forward to now, apart from Sobti of course. I just hope the manhandling is kept away, as far away as possible.

Btw, few good things from the episode, Mamaji's specs is gone. And Nani got a makeover. 😛 Yes, she is looking nice with darker hair and mute make-up along with the bindi. Also, I loved how Chandni recollected that she hates PP and his touch. And Sobti as usual as Advay was very convincing. I liked the little touches they have given to his character.

Overall, a fast paced and gripping episode, but one that leaves you asking for more, somewhere. Nevetheless, for me it built-up the interest and I am game for more. 😳

On point of Chandni 's blind love for her mother, its a very humane thing and people's love has variations and I dont question their sense of judgement. So if Chandni loves her mother blindly, she has her reasons.

Why are we talking about virginity, what did I miss? Since I am well versed with the shows from this team, their MLs are usually not uptight and pretty accepting to past relationships as they themselves are ladies men. Season 1 had the guy accepting the lady as it is. The only issue was he didnt condone an affair with a married man. Similarly, in other two shows the men have accepted their women as they are. The only thing they demand is complete loyalty and adhere to it too. Yes, the makers have endorsed progressive stuff which is why they have built up the huge fan following over the last few years. So yes Advay's acceptance was not a surprise. What surprised me was that he trusted his instincts and introspected. That was ideally a first. Anyway, dont mean to compare since its not in accordance to the rules but just saying that these little stamps from the makers reinforces our belief in their workmanship and makes up for a good watch.

The engagement precap is a welcome change and I am assuming you watched the wedding promo too, I had asked you that in the older thread, not sure if you saw it. In all probability its a hate marriage and it will be interesting to see if Advay keeps the facade up for the softening, Chandni who can now see through PP's intentions. Or will he leave her addled with his thawing hate which he fights to keep up while her innocence stares right back at him.

@Shweta beautiful collages from you again, especially loved the engagement precap one.

HI Ecri...
You mean I took your thought on a triangle between Chandani, Advay and Meghna...too seriously?
I was talking about possibilities ...hypotheticals, as were you...and that was that...not sure about what "taking seriously" means...any who...I hate triangle between family members...if Advay has a girl friend from before ...I would be more open to that...hypothetically...

Even though the episodes have improved...I think the writing still needs improvement in showing build up to track instead of jumping in and out...

By the way I asked this question in the other thread too ?
Now that Advni will be married and Indrani will get thenga out of it
What are the chances that she will try to kill both ?
And what are the chances of Chandni believing this ?

Sush, you do have a valid point. But, after witnessing her hate for so many years and also getting the confirmation from Mama about the same, Chandni should have known by now that her mom is two faces. It's ok if she throws Maggi to the bin, for she like Baba Rabdev's atta noodles, but what Chadni agreed to do now is a decision whose baggage she has to carry for her whole life.

Having said that, I have seen a lot of people in my family who worship their moms, so much so that, even if the entire world is convinced about the flaws of the mom, these people will still live in a delusional world. And maa here is just an example. This can happen between any two people.

A part of the reason why some understand Chandni and some don't is sloppy writing. Too much drama unfolded is too little time and none of these had any back stories. Now that the TRP meter hasnt moved even a bit, I hope makers stick to their original plan. even if the TRP does not improve and the channel plans to shut the show (I hope they don't 😭), the makers will have the satisfaction of sticking to their story and the audience will fondly remember the show.

Ha ha...I noticed the TRP didn't improve...but then I recalled...last week was the week with Advay's Superman's stunt on Monday/ Tuesday...😆, followed by Indrani giving permission to Advay to carry Chandani up the steps which no TRP aunty will buy...I mean is it really a surprise that TRP didn't go up with those things in the mix?
I think it is only since Monday this week...the story has turned in a direction which is about relationship between mother and daughter, Indranis true face is revealed...so this weeks TRP will be the most telling if the TRP audience is coming back or not...Hopefully last week's Nani Advay scenes later in the week at least gave them some hope to come back and watch...

I sincerely hope they do NOT go to that dark hero story that lost them all the TRP audience in the first place, and frankly speaking put me off in the 2nd/3rd week of the show as well!

If it gets really dark...I will quit Deepsie...This is not a threat or a message to anyone...just an honest admission...I like my heroes to be about everything good...Dark doesn't excite me...

I made the decision to watch the show...not because it was a dark story...it was because Sobti was in it...and I love ASR1 and IPK1...both were not dark...

Sush I don't think they are going for a very dark hero here. The only thing which I feared was the love triangle between Meghu - Advay and Chandni because that is what the initial articles mentioned. But that seems to have been discarded and the estrangement between the sisters is going to be via the baby. I really hope they don't show Advay mentally or physically torturing Chandni as that would be a deal breaker for me to root as a ML in a romantic show. Something tells me Advay is not going to be like that.

Even today Advay didn't go all blackmailing on Chandni for the engagement. He very coolly turned the tables out on Indrani and Co and very realistically presented the scenario that he and Chandni are in love. The twist of words and having the right mix of pleasing attitude is what I am looking for Advay in this show.
