To add to your controversial statement, as much as I have loved Barun's other shows, one in particular, @episode 30 this intensity is unprecedented for the story. As for Advay, if Barun continues like this, and I have complete faith in him that he will, I think it will be his best character and performance yet by a country mile!

I think the reason I love this season more than season 1 is because I relate more to the characters. Season 1 had it's own strengths tho, Khushi was lovable, Arnav was a straight-laced, tempermental ass most of the time to her, but the fact they had such contrasting personalities on the surface and had that undeniable connection - made people really root for them. But I couldn't really connect to any of the characters? I guess it's not something I can explain, you either have that connection or you don't.

This season, and I think for the first time ever with an Indian show, I relate to both the male lead AND the female lead (usually it's just the latter). Advay's revenge on the Vashishsts - hell, if someone had 'cause my parents death I'd have blown them up by now. And I wouldn't EVER be able to forgive them. I also love how Advay cries without any qualms about 'keeping a hold of his emotions cause he's a manly man', I LOVE how deals with his grief naturally.

Chandni - she's someone who has lost her best friend, her mother, and in some ways, even her father. Not to mention her reputation. She now does what she does for the step-mother she idolizes - for her respect and dignity. I think it's cause we usually see most FLs as pure 'white' characters, the nails scene came as a shock to many of us, we never expected it from Chandni. And I completely understand people who hate her for it - it was cruel. But I'll reiterate, I relate to her here. If someone threatened to bardaad my family, went on plotting to sabotage my marriage - a marriage so important for my mother - I'd take extreme measures against him too.

Ok but lemme fangirl here for a bit - the biggest reason I love season 3 is because of the childhood sweethearts trope. I'm a HUGE sucker for it 😆

Haha 😆 Haila, 100 years to nahi lagenge! But it will be a relatively long and arduous journey for our beloved couple. Yup it'll all be worth it in the end, for them and for us 😃

I'm waiting to see the day Aday-Chandu move in to live with Veer and his parents and they all become one big, happy family :') It's such a long way away tho lol.

Back to Chandni - I think it's understandable why she's behaving like this towards Advay. I know she was too harsh with her words and then the nail plan was extreme. But I don't think she wants to be malicious towards Advay. Like you said, he openly threatened to destroy her family. She's obviously gonna take the fight to him.

Chandni is the cause of Advay's pain. And she is also the healer. That haldi scene was symbolic. Loved it ❤️

Shivani is growing in confidence as a performer. Gul really nailed it with Chandni and Advay casting. Genius hai yeh aurat 😆

Hope I still see more of you around the forum. Aap jaise logo ki zaroorat hai 😆

Not dramatic at all. It was a given with how annoyingly negative and polarizing the posts and some people here can get 🤔

The nail was def. extreme. I understand why she did it, she didn't have malicious intent as you rightly pointed out. She just genuinely wanted him to STOP his kartoots 😆

I knowww that haldi scene was a huge, blaring moment of symbolism ❤️😆

I totally agree with what you are saying. Today I saw Dev and Chandni - both of whom were played into a cruel game by Indrani.

Chandni kind of knew that by hook or crook Advay is going to win over the challenge and he is going to carry her. She had her sisters on a stand by mode to hurt him. She never expected that advay will carry her even when he is hurt. When he did carry her she was surprised and amazed that this guy did do what he promised he would do.

She got the medicine to him to heal him and also to make truce with Advay. She knows that what Advay says he will do, he will accomplish and she knows that he has grudge against her family. Why - she doesn't know though. I totally loved her conversation with Advay - with broken voice pleading him not to hurt her family and not to taunt her and at least tell her what her mistake was.

Shivani Tomar is the perfect Chandni - She totally is owning up the role and slaying it. This will be her big break in the TV world. I am admiring her resilience and her positive spirit that she is delivering this level even with negativity being hurled against her for no fault of hers. I just will say this - People who are abusing her are just plain idiots who can't grow out from their fantasies.

Barun and Shivani both are totally owning the roles. Bas if the creatives give these level of episodes then there is no way IPK3 will lag behind in the TRP race.

PS:- Typing from phone is horrible. I wanted to write so much more but you got the gist of what I am saying.
