Neelam drashti I completely agree with your post
I exactly feel the same thing
I too don't hate her
But this action is so different from what she is

He has bought their house and owns it technically
It was not Advay fault Indrani had mortgaged the house
So if now he throws them out can she do anything ?

Perhaps Chandni will believe that she doesn't know her family after saying they are good people to Advay. Normally, I'd make you question other thing about your family, but this is a daily soap, so I won't expect much.

As I love saheer the most but I not watch his show now as just I don't like his character
And I think I have fallen in love with after Shivani as I watched season 1 just recently because I don't like sanaya in real but in season1 I was somewhat able to tolerate her
But here I don't feel anything for chandini due to script directing anything
She has to first think and then do anything these all are childish activity not shows her strength
First she has to be cautious as now this house is not her now and he has not taken it by some cheat it's her family wrong thinking has made them this today and she should know that if advay head would get wrong then he would throw them out and she can't do anything
This is very much shildish or insensitive to pricy someone with nails or hurt someone the one whom her family is under
Just don't able to like or connect with her character due to poor editing direction and script

Childish is not the name I'd give this act. By extension, Advay's revenge is childish too then. Childish is the wrong name. I agree that it was insensitive, but I can't hate Chandni for it. Even if it was inhumane. Advay is not above this. He poisoned Yash, and just today struck a needle into PP just so he could carry Chandni. It's not about Chandni being right, because I agree that she's not, but Advay is not above this either. And Advay needs to see that Chandni doesn't want this. Doesn't want him. And yet, Advay is forcing his way into her life. I agree that Chandni should be cautious, but how? That's easier said then done. How does she watch over an unpredictable man and try to thwart him.

So finally she will believe him after seeing ample proof
But I think she may still try to do something to pay him back for this exposure

@Neelum Sorry, the rant was long and I didn't want to quote it because it was already a long post.

I can understand that feeling, it was inhuman. Honestly, I probably won't be able to watch torture in real life, but fiction is a different realm for me. So I can't see the problem, but I respect that it bothers you a lot.

But you see, anger is a fickle emotion. It destroys our morality. We can justify an act with anger and provocation. The idea is that Chandni was pushed to this limit is conservation in itself. We just saw a side of Chandni that didn't look very appealing. As a writer in me, it added depth to the character which made me attached to Chandni, but the human in me can see that this was actually very gruesome. Just like what Advay has done in the name of revenge.

About the video, it was to make a point that a man's badnaami and a woman's badnaami are different. For Advay, it hasn't gotten him much. No one is taunting him like Chandni is taunted. I think that was partly Gul Khan's point of that video. Though, under normal circumstances, your argument if very valid in the real world.

Haughty? But Chandni didn't want the treasure, Indrani did. She was the one who did all this. And her justification was for her children's future.

Honestly, it's not inconsistency. It's bad writing. Chandni should not be head over heels for Advay. The idea that she finds him attractive is fair, but she should not want to be with him and that is enough for me that she follows this. Also, I'm not sure what you mean romantically involved. I always felt Advay forcing himself onto Chandni. Neelum do you think Chandni is in love with Advay? Because then what I want to write changes. I'm just trying to make sure here.

He doesn't give her false hope, he's not a liar? So what's with "Bhagyavan" and this shaadi act? Because that is him being very ironic. Advay calls Chandni a Parda or someone with many faces, but isn't treating her this way and acting so sweetly not the same thing. A lie. A tale. Fiction. Are you under the impression that Advay will keep Chandni happy after marriage? Do you think that Advay is going to start a family and give birth to Acchu. In my opinion, I want to call this character inconsistency but it's not even that. This is Advay and Chandni's characters. They are this. Did you know, Gul Khan's ML and FL have things in common? She purposely write them this way. They have common traits that certain tracks dissect. Take Shivaay and Annika in Ishqbaaz, they have their ego and attitude in common and that made them very compatible with how they react to each other.

In this case, the dark aspects in Advay can be found in Chandni too. Maybe to a lesser degree, but they are there. They exist. Chandni is someone who is her circumstances. She is the way she is because life made it this way, just like Advay. No matter what she does, she isn't able to resist him an his plots. This is not an abnormal behaviour. Arnav did this with Khushi after she had overtaken him twice. You need to step up in certain circumstance. However, similarly to Advay, Chandni looks more inhuman with the nails.

Perhaps I don't agree, but isn't that the point of a discussion? A meeting of different point of views. I won't force you to like Chandni after the nails thing, but for me, I can accept it. 😃

Coming to episode, it was awesome! I loved advay - nani... Heart wrenching scene with awesome dialogue...
I am fine with what chandu did.. .I usually don't like to hurt people...I will stay away if I dnot like them...but if someone troubled me like advay, I would have.reacted more worse...
You think advay is virgin? Please watch bed rabbave once again... He is not...

Hey Deeps! Thanks, that means a lot. I try to be objective about the story. I'm sure the writers have a logic when they write, otherwise, why would they have wrote it this way?

Also, I'm betting Advay is a virgin. Or atleast I hope he is. I'm tired of MLs being experienced and FLs being virgins. So bored. Make them both virgins and it'll be equal.

Advay actually could kick out the Vashisths, but that's counterintuitive to his plan so he won't do anything like that. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I meant it for Chandni
She is doing all these tricks
She made that fake video
Now the nails part
What will happen if he kicks them out ?
Has she ever thought of that ?

Wow Jesal (may i call you that)! Your reviews have started growing on me and the past few reviews have been spot on!! I like your analysis on ML and FL of Gul. I think you are right. Even though the ML and FL may seem superficially different, their core values are same. IPK1 also ML and FL loved their family and would do anything for them and both of them also had a wide streak of independence and not wanting to take help of other people. Here it is both of them being ready to do anything to whoever hurts their family and soon we may see other similarities soon!!! That is why even though ML and Fl may seem superficially different, once their issues are resolved, there is a possibility of a happy relationship due to their core value system being similar!! Nicely analyzed! Kudos!
