And in my honest opinion, I don't think Advay s**t shamed her. Agreed, he was jealous. He got angry. He wanted to know where she had been, for the reasons explained above. He gave her a chance, wanted to get her story out but all her answers pointed to what he was made to believe. And if you pay close attention to the dialogues most part of his dialogues were how Chandini could admit it so openly. There it was not Advay but Dev who was shocked that traditional girl that he knew had changed so much.

Now coming to Chandini, she totally misunderstood Advay's questions and I am glad she didnt feel the need to answer any of them just like the way Advay never did. She is simply acting upon what she heard and what she had seen of him so far. Likewise, Advay is acting upon what he heard and what he had seen so far.

I will not blame either of them. I will only blame the haalat that is churning up their brains and making it impossible for them to reach a common ground...

so all the points you mentioned regarding that I agree with. About her being sensitive and scared - by nature she's not like that (we've seen that even in her flashbacks from childhood), and it'd be unrealistic for her to be shown that way all the time IMO. Who knows, maybe a part of her in addition to her attraction to him, means she has started feeling more comfortable around Advay and not thinking of him as a 'threat'? Idk lol.

But why is she comfortable going out with pp? advay has desensitised her to himself but pp is a stanger too.

About your last point, and as I mentioned earlier, I think she took PP with her as a way to thwart Advay and his attempts of haq-jamaing over her, as he mentions quite often how only HE will end up marrying her. That's just what I think. And as for tradition - I think there are varying degrees of how 'traditional' one can be. Not EVERYONE who is traditional would forbid a woman from going out with her fiance 😕

I mean, his reaction was def s**t-shaming imo. I know some will 'but he cares for her at some level!' to this but I didn't see him that outraged when PP was on about his sex life. And she didn't even directly admit it but he's livid. Yes of course he 'cares' more about Chandni than PP but on a base level it was what it was to me - s**t shaming.

I'm not trying to blame either of them. We're barely over a month into the show I don't expect any characters to be flawless, I like that there is room for their character to grow. It's why I haven't angrily ranted about Advay s**t-shaming her 😆 Have only stated it here once. We know he thinks the worst of her anyway and blames her for his parents death. So it didn't surprise me he'd call her 'shameless' etc. and be disgusted that she's openly admitting to pre-marital relations. That was another nail in her proverbial coffin.

She has never consented to being in a relationship with him so that's basically untrue, my friend. Nightly meetings after he blackmails to meet him and/or she's under his spell don't = a relationship.

I honestly cannot answer that. Like I said, I still have trouble understanding her character sometimes. Writers need to buck up a little with Chandu I think. If I could wager a guess now it'd be that she's had no reason to be wary of him yet, hasn't she called him 'sweet' etc.? Maybe she feels comfortable with him. Or maybe she has pushed back her fear for now because she knows how important this rishta is for her beloved mother. He's gonna be her husband after all, maybe she's genuinely trying to put her best foot forward.

Ah! I don't have much knowledge about that but I've seen it sometimes in hindi movies where they forbid the bride and groom from meeting a few days before the wedding. Don't know if it's a proper rasam that is followed by all tho :/
