The episode starts with Chandni muttering to herself about Advay. Low behold, Advay appears right in front of her. Advay asks Chandni where she's been. Chandni claims she doesn't have to answer to him. Advay says he's her husband-to-be. Chandni retorts that he isn't her anything-to-be.
The next series of lines attribute to Advay thinking Chandni had actually slept with PP. He calls her shameless for admitting it. Chandni doesn't even try to deny anything. That's so weird. Chandni's relax attitude is so odd to me. I'm surprised that Chandni's badnaami trauma did not come up. Honestly, I just hope they clear this ONS MU (One Night Stand Misunderstanding) soon, because I can't watch this for a second time. If Advay, a U.K. man, has the nerve to call a girl shameless for sleeping with her fiance that only wants her for her body, and he did not warn her of this fact, is probably worse than the people he's trying to take revenge on.
I love how Chandni says she isn't afraid of Advay, put steps back when he steps forward. We hear one thing, but see another. Chandni is lying to Advay and herself. What Advay can do does frighten her. Especially when Advay smacks his hand against the pillar and the electricity turns off.
I believe my favourite line was after Advay pins Chandni against the pillar and he asks her how many faces does she wear? In front of him she's this, but in front of PP she's something else. This line is so ironic coming from Advay Singh Raizada, the same man that is not only lying to his "lady love" but has atleast 6 different identities including his real identity. Yes, but continue to ask Chandni how many faces she has. Not only is Advay a hypocrite, but it's so clear he doesn't try to understand her. He doesn't try to give her any benefit of the doubt, and I know I ask that why should he because he so believes that Chandni betrayed him. Advay's lack of reflection is his entire character flaw. He does not reflect on people, mainly the Vashishts. Advay doesn't reflect on any of the Vashisht's good traits or anything good about them. This is because of how he has made his opinions of them. If they do something good, it's a facade; but if it's bad, then it's their true face.
Chandni leaves Advay a hint to his questions: 4.
The scene shifts to Shikha confronting Veer, in parallel to the elder pairing of Advay-Chandni. Shikha does not buy his crap. He's not Rajveer Singh, he's Veer.
The scene momentarily shifts to Chandni and Meghna going through the evidence that they have on Advay.
The scene goes back to ShiVeer with Shikha saying she knows why she is here. Shikha accuses that Veer is here for revenge for the fact she threw him in jail. Veer gets a flashback of everything that happened to Ammi. Veer doesn't want to talk about it.
I think I almost died laughing when Veer started stripping his coat off because Shikha's reaction was priceless. Veer starts taking off his shirt too, and Shikha was flustered and bothered. She was threatening him, she looked away. Veer turned away and told her to look. Shikha takes a glance at his back to find marks. This implies that he was beaten. The pain hit him in the heart though, he's a changed man, she changed him.
This is Veer fooling Shikha, and by Shikha's expression she has sympathy for what he went through. We know that nothing actually happened to Veer in that prison, it was Ammi that got hurt. This is how Veer is going to fool Shikha, and she might fall hard in love.
In the next scene, Advay is with Kajal and Shakun. Advay praises Kajal by saying they look like Chandni's sisters, which is mainly directed to Kajal who is flattered. I wonder what sense he was putting them together in, in age or deeds? Advay muses by calling Kajal "maasi" again much to her disappointment. Gosh, I just love Kajal. That poor thing, her life is horrible.
Shakun taunts at Advay in Paheli, Advay, being a poet of good stature, recites one back. Advay muses at Shakun's love affair with her mister, much to her surprise. I'd be scared if I were you Shakun.
Advay and Shilpa start Operation: Shakun, where they look for the dear Mister that she kept. Shilpa and Advay planned this from the last episode by getting something on Shakun's hand and get her finger prints. Technology is weird. I can't believe how advanced it is in this series.
Side Note: Isn't that the same flashlight from the post-shagun where Chandni saw a light coming from the door? Maybe that flashlight can decide what Advay was looking at.
Side Note2: Why is no one bothered by a flashlight being waved into their face? A reaction would have been nice.
In a shocking twist that I didn't see coming, Ranjeet is Shakun's mister! Dear god, before I continue, let me just give a shoutout to IF user, 2filmy who predicted that. I'm declaring 2filmy our prophet.
First, coming to the point, the amount of implications this has is beyond imagination. This really does break so many things in this family. That both Ranjeet and Shakun are doing this, betraying their family and spouses this way. I can see the upcoming track with brutal carnage.
Second, I will admit that my heart goes out to Kajal. Even if you are bad, you don't deserve this deceit from both your sister and husband. I'm so for Team Kajal, I was always worried would become unnecessarily dark by her lipstick ki kasam, but after this shock I'm with her as a positive character. The way she so happily introduced her unfaithful husband was sad.
Third, I will admit that I liked RaJal's nok-jhok as much as RaKun's chemistry. However, not like this. I prefer RaJal's nok-jhok over this revelation.
Advay in a different scene muses over how this traitorous family betrayed its own members, everyone's a bloody cheat. Chandni says he's wrong, he's the cheat. Chandni confronts Advay. Chandni asks him about the hint, she tells him House #4, his Guesthouse. That's where she went.
Chandni says she got his secret. Advay realizes that if she went through his drawer, he found their childhood photos and realized he's Dev. Advay exclaims that she found out he's Dev, yes "Dave". Chandni goes through four passports of his. (Which, by the way, are all English names for an Indian man) He is left with a crooked smile. Chandni knows nothing.
The show goes into meta-zone where everything stops and Advay joys over Chandni not learning he's Dev. Meaning the game is still in his hands, Advay doesn't lose. (Writers can you please make him lose, I don't like this arrogance.) Advay truly is deceitful, he's as bad as those he is taking revenge on. Talks about starting a relationship with him only to use her for his own purposes.
Side Note: I don't like this fourth-wall breaking thing as much. I might get used to it though because it feels unique to daily soaps.
Chandni leaves shortly after, as she warns Advay to leave the house.
In the next scene, Indrani talks to Chandni, she talks about the rasams and then ChaTham's rishta, and how it's important that this rasam happen flawlessly. Indrani totally jinxed it. It's not going to end well now. Indrani hands Chandni something, I didn't see it clearly, it wasn't in the focus of the camera. Do you know what it was? Indrani explains she wore this when Yash first day her. Indrani was blushing alittle when she said this, does that mean Yash and Indrani have a good relationship?
In the next scene, Advay orders Murli to enter Chandni's room and get the passports. I guess Advay recognizes how much damage Chandni can do with them so he secretly is worried. Murli goes to infiltrate but is halted when Meghna enters the room and closed the door.
Meghna and Shikha come to tease Chandni and Indrani as they are all emotional. Shikha imitates Indrani and her attitude, almost accurately. Indrani yells at Shikha, much to everyone's fear. Indrani laughs as she fools Shikha and everyone. Indrani asks Shikha and Meghna to help Chandni get ready before she leaves.
Side Note: Get ready for what? I thought she was already ready for the function? Are you saying she has three outfits in one day?
Advay asks Murli if he's in, but Murli explains the situation. He's not in. Advay exclaims that the game and story aren't over yet, he hasn't backed down that easily.
The Precap definitely entertaining if you enjoy Advay sabotaging the rasam. Chandni sits of the swing, as PP goes to sit he falls. The swing moves out of control and into the sky. Chandni is afraid of heights. Wanting to be saved, Chandni calls out Advay. He then joins her charismatically on the swing. Very funny for the most part but very troubling.
The episode was good, my heart went out to Kajal. You poor thing. I wonder how she'll react to betrayal. I certainly enjoyed how the story was moving at this pace, it was fun to watch.
Theory: PP will be leaving next week, just so AdvNi's ONS MU is made further deeper to drive a wedge between them. Since PP did say he was leaving right after he was done with Chandni. It should be weird that he appeared for the swing rasam. But my money's on PP leaving next week.
