so the issue here is not ipk 1 vs IPK 3?

I think 1.4 is good for opening week...if the top show gets rating of 3.0 then how is 1.4 not good?...we think just because an actor is popular online,he will help gain amazing trps...we have higher expectations...producers seems to think so too...that is why actors who are popular online get big budget shows...but no tv actor really has popularity among trp audiences...this needs to be realized..specially by PH.

ok then lets start by the context: Allahabad is not Mumbai Delhi or even kolkata so costumes and traditional outfits may be different from what we use to see in mumbai streets! not sure about accessories so can't go in this topic

TRP: 1.4 for the first week with 1.7 in Mumbay : the previous show i thing was around 1.7 and Show at the same slot had 2.2 or more thats mean people are now used to watch the other show at 20 pm, it may take time for them to change it and start following IPK so lets wait a little more before judging. a marketing strategy is divised in 3 parts: Short medium and a long term strategy. so where can we fit this "not casting same FL, having same scenes and same BG, targeting old followers?

so did the producers take a bad marketing desicions fr the short one? (we cant talk abt others strategies as the show is still a one week). how can we talk abt bad in short terms as the TRP coming was 1.4 ? what was gul and SP expectations for this week ? do you think they expected more than 3.0?? i dont think so!!! well in term of product development :modification of an existing product( ipk as brand) that satisfies a newly defined costumer" so if you say that its mean the target is not the old ipk shippers 5 years back but a new market niche. In terms of marketing : we can use one factor or two from the existing product ( here its the ML and BG) !

i think the producers are doing this: cultivate , maintain and increase!

lets cool down a little and wait a little more before talikng about failure and bad decisions

Also, do people in Allahabad wear tablecloths and curtains for clothes? Last time I checked, it is afull fledged big enough city in India. I didn't realize that traditional dressing meant jewellery large enough to kill and be killed in, garish makeup, floppy clothes and mismatched colours.

i'll just comment on the marketing, i kinda wish it it was its own thing, with it's own name, bgm, romantic song not because im a die hard ipk1 fan, i forgot about the show after it finished. its too much pressure to put on a show by putting it under the same banner as the OG given how popular that was and the fact that it will be compared and will be under the microscope with a lot of expectations right from the word go. many shows have the same romantic scene but since this is called ipk3 unlike others it will be scrutinised like crazy. i have no issues if the ML is an anti hero but i do agree they need to mix in the genre a bit better. and im loving shivani, she had a lot pf potential
