First of all girls i hope you all are not dead after watching Barun on TV after 5 damn years😳.. I swear he actually set the screens in fire the moment he removed his glares😳... I am dead🤢
Now coming on the episode part, it was
Good part - The first feeling that hit me was nostalgia as I saw Barun after so many years on TV. And the next word was Hayee!!! The moment he removed his glares. The next scene where he saved the puppy from drowning was a bit symbolic that Advay still has tad bit of humanity and compassion left inside him. And then he gives us a hint as to why he is back "To make Chandini's life hell".
PS - I was actually flattered hearing Barun's husky voice after so long.
Then the scene shifts to a jovial Chandini asking the servant to properly adjust the chandelier and remembering her childhood friend Dev. I loved it when she said "I missed you Dev". Then we see a sassy Chandini opening the cold drink bottle with her mouth which for once makes us feel that she is actually very strong. And then her face turns palor when she is asked by the lady that she needs to be a part of maha aarti.
The scene then shifts to the temple with a grand statue of Shivji wherein the preparations of maha aarti is going on. Then we see one of the TRIDEVIS bitching about her badi jeeji i.e the bitchiest of the three Indrani Yash Narayan Vashishth. And then we are introduced to the main vamp Indrani. I loved Ritu Shivpuri..the character actually suits her...from her hair, her make up, the long sindoor, the saree and the best of all her voice. I am damn sure she will definitely do justice to her character. The second bitch is a bit okay I didn't find her comedy that engaging. And then comes the conversation which needs to be noted 'Chandini has not stepped out of the home since past 1 yr and that she is been termed as kulta (s**t) besharam (shameless) as she had not come home for 3 nights (Pata nahi kya kya hua hoga uske saath)
The scene shifts to Chandini visiting her father's room who seems to have been suffering from amnesia and probably only remembering his work he does as a priest. I loved how Chandini was making her father recollect the relation they share. My heart went out to her seeing her expressions. Shivani was really awesome while depicting the correct emotions. And then comes another man possibly her mamaji who was seen encouraging her to go out of the home and start living her life again.
Back to Trideviyaa, the second and third bitch are damn sure that Chandini will not attend the maha aarti but her Indrani is confident that new moon will definitely arise this year after a year long dark night. Listening to their conversation it seems that there is a mystery behind the divya dwaar which opens only once in 16 years.
We then see a fearful Chandini who is scared like hell to even step out of her home. And remembers the days probably when she was kidnapped and attacked. I loved Shivani agreed she is a bit inexperienced in acting but i am sure she will improve slowly. And then she tries to step out of the haveli but is unable to do so and runs back to her room. She opens her cupboard to find a stone with Chandu and Dev engraved on it. Probably Chandini's only source of strength.
And the last but not the least our own Baahubali. Howmuchever we love our Barun but we still cannot digest this scene.
Bad part - Everything seemed to be really abrupt and rushed up. In one instance Advay is seen with a guitar and ashes and in the other frame he is seen jumping in the pool and i was like wth and lmao at the same time. I really doubt this is Gorky's direction it seems to be directed by Amandeep. Giving entire 10 mins out of the 23 mins episode to the almost Baahubali like was really unnecessary. Instead they could have introduced us to some more characters.
Anyway it is really very soon to judge the entire series just based on just first episode.
Let's just wait for atleast a week before concluding anything.
But overall I feel it was a very decent episode.
