Cuz if you think about it, HS is essentially trying to get Shivika to the same point but ghuma phiraa ke...like mandir meeting had so many hit and miss, obstacles...they tried so many times but couldn't see each other...now up next Anika wants a job...last time Prinku was the catalyst for her to land up at OM but it was Khanna's video that made Daadi notice Anika for the first time and ultimately get her that job as the wedding planner...lol...this time Khanna is the one who's trying to bring her to OM...but it's possible other situations will intervene again before Anika finally lands up in the same situation as the wedding planner...maybe this Prinku will again play a part.

@AY: All of a sudden I am enjoying this all over again and really looking forward to it. But I have become like Anika. Itni khushiyon se darr lagta hai kyunki HS koi na koi raita phaila deti hai 😆. But so far so good. I have loved all that I have watched of Redux. Luckily for me I missed the thela wala episode and Tuesday where I just watched the song from your edit. Have seen the rest of the episodes which were good. So maybe I won't bother to catch up with Tue/Wed episodes at all and stay happy 😆

But I like how HS is doing this one so far. There new and there is old and it's all nicely interwoven including how slowly the old lines and character traits are coming back. Fingers crossed it sustains. I absolutely loved how the temple scene reboot was done. I had mixed feelings about whether things would feel repetitive but now I am relaxed. If HS does a halfway decent job the NM-SC-LM will do the rest. Bas they shouldn't repeat old mistakes and keep the focus where it needs to be.

I am dying to see what happens when they actually meet and haven't felt so eager and excited in a long time. Also hope and pray they don't change O jaana. Something familiar needs to stay. And I am so longing to hear it play on them again. It's been an age since they played it. Even in the pool scene they didn't play it on TV. Baki to all songs played on them work beautifully the lyrics of tu jaane na yesterday were so apt as if written for them. HS's song choices for them have always been good. But O Jaana is special. Even the lines work especially the nazdeek hai dilke phir kyun lage milke jaise ho meelon door woh... jazba hai anjana mushkil hai samjhana apna hai ya hai gair woh... the words fit this new universe so well.

I honestly feel Prinku is just a foil to set up this shaadi track...the fiance is already in place...double wedding hai, kuch double drama hoga and will provide a backdrop for Anika to interact with the Oberois as she plans the weddings😆...I have a feeling this Prinku will bond with her too😆...

Objectively speaking, so far this Prinku doesn't seem the fragile/unhinged type of attached to Shivaay...she clearly adores him a lot, loves being pampered by him but us level ka emotional dependence nahin lagaa mujhe...she's stronger than the previous Prinku.

Shivaay is tender hearted about her, yes but again I feel it's been put in as a shade to show his vulnerable side.

FYI it is twin shaadi and prinku seemed pretty excited to get married I doubt it is about nikhil caz then shivaay would've noticed him in mandir if by any chance he is marrying prinku by family ki wajah se since he keeps marooing happenin about his family

Also prinku didn't seemed to be in love or anything she seemed very happy with the thought if shaadi to whoever dadi is getting married to so

And one more thing. I felt so sad to see Billu's plain black jacket lining. I am waiting for Billu's comic characters jacket linings and his pins to make a slow come back as colour slowly comes back to his life.

There was an early 2000 movie with that time teenage girls hearthrob Dino Morea, and yeh Dil aashikna hero and kajoo sister where kajol mother was mistress of someone and that yeh Dil aashikna hero father and mother both died because the hero dad has some very strong affair. The hero and heroine did end up being together, make out and all those extreme romantic things while down serial killer is on loose. (Heavily borrowed from.scream movie including mask). Then it was disclosed that the heroine mother who was the mistress of someone is none other than mistress of hero father and and because of that hero (who was the serial killer all this time) started killing everyone and has plans to kill heroine as well. In the end Dino Morea saved the day.

Shivika, they have that connect inspite of the void. This is so beautifully reflected in Anika and Shivay's eyes. Kudos to NM and SC.

Mandir scene:

Loved it, something I was looking forward to and it didn't let me down. Execution of the variation beautifully done by NM,SC and director LM's vision.

Awasthi's voice in background literally showcased the extent of damage meted out to their otherwise content lives.

Nigahon mei dekho meri jowhai bas gaya...who hai milta tumse khoobahub...Tum paas tum aas ehsaas apne nahi aise hain...Such perfect lyrics, not a word more I'd say here.

Immediately following that is him turning to look in her direction, his eyes reflecting a vague sense of recognition of a distant past or experiencing a soul connection or a flicker of recognizing a part of you that you missed out on, that you don't know yet but lingers on.

Anika's "Excuse me now is respectful and calm that comes with the awareness of right and wrong, her "excuse me in the past had this air of reproach towards the wrong doer.

When Shivay calls out to "that one jo lecture de rahi thi with Suno..., Anika just happens to freeze in her tracks in response, here again to bring out that sense of recognition of his voice, quiescent in her mind...The bg tune is beautiful that almost gives a soothing feel, to us viewers it feels as if it's for their bruised souls. How beautifully her eyes flickers in trying to recollect and feel that it is a jaani pehchani awaaz.

Reminded me of a scene a couple of days back when Shivay calls out to her "Anika... And she responds immediately with a "ji and he goes on to say Khanna ko bhejo.

Shivay telling Tia about "woh ladki ki awaaz...,he heard her from afar, yet he has a faint connection to that voice.

It's beautiful to see the nuances that they ( Nakuul and Surbhi) bring in to add freshness to a scene already enacted 2 yrs ago, which went on to become an iconic scene that viewers associate Shivika with, render the almost same dialogues, express the long lost connect of soulmates turned strangers due to twist of fate, seeking out each other inspite of all obstacles (Tia and Nikhil).

Milke bhi, hum na mile...in spite of not knowing what they seek, they do it subconsciously, Apne nahi hain...in spite of being the aas and ehsaas for each other. So even if fate( read mentalist) is conspiring against them, they will find each other.

It's surreal to imagine the concept here that it's not rebirth waale lives mei purani yaadein wapas aana. This theory would have looked clich. Memory getting tainted doesn't add curiosity factor. This so far looks fresh, bas todha Anika and Shivay traits rahe, baaki toh the actors are good at their jobs. They have lived a life of being Shivika, two souls being entwined in love. Now even if they have been pulled apart, the experiences are kind of ingrained in each other. Shivay and Anika seeking out each other is almost like their names are genetically imprinted in each other's DNA, bas all action reaction is because of each other, all responses towards each other, all emotions for each other.

Shivay calls everyone by their full names, can he shorten Anika as Ani for a change, but Anika has to retain her "Shivaaay, she does it so well.

Bhai-Behen Scene:

Fairly good

New Priyanka seems to be a good choice for the role, acting is pretty decent, I guess Shivay Priyanka bond toh hona hi tha, NM is capable of the "big bro attitude on screen and off screen too I guess. Remembered one of his IV where he said, after Lee started addressing thus, he now is the Jagat Bhaiyya to everyone including crew members.

Chehra toh dikha yaar to Priyanka was sweet. Medicines in his life was referenced, he reacted in response to hearing dadi say kab dimaag phir jaye iska, reference to billi and chuha was done, just waiting for the probable cat and mouse games. Priyanka mentioning Billu ke gale mei ghanti reminded me of Anika's first reference. Yes, I saw you have added that GIF.

His smile, worry for sister's air sickness, todha fun in saying tumhe nahi jhel sakta hoon forever in this house, the "nami in aankhen at the thoughts of her vidaai was all beautifully done by NM.

Saahil phir se in need of operation ...bechara. That Nikhil fellow digging out money from her purse is a true mark of a kameena.

As per Khanna ji, Do shaadiyaan hai in OM, then who is the second dulha and dulhan kaun hai.

An episode worth watching, too good to be true without grand distractions.

So the same precap will be shown on Monday too I guess. I guess their meeting is being pushed to the same day as in IB history ( as per SNS)

In love with the caps Anu, beautifully captured, adds value to the scenes watched and freezing those moments of sheer brilliance of both these actors
