Lol I am a IPK 1 fan and I am not getting any IPK 1 vibe. It's just that the sister will be the catalyst in Shivika story just like Anjali was for Arshi. Similarity ends there and 800 other shows have same premise of sister being the catalyst in the brother's love story either in a positive or negative way! The uniqueness of Ishqbaaaz is the treatment of the age old plot and how Narbhi brings it alive on screen crackling with chemistry!
Please no misconceptions that this is a reboot of IPK1!
I may have loved Arshi but Shivika are something else!
I am just waiting for Shivaay and Annika to lays their eyes on each other and want to feel that current of soul connection again!

Thank you for that😆😆...otherwise everywhere I turn, ppl are jumping to the conclusion of IPK tracks cuz this Shivaay is close to his sister...lol so automatic presumption is that he will do hate marriage for his sister's sake...abhi toh Shivika mile bhi nahin...itna aage ka soch liya logon ne😆

Let's see if IB can continue with that hatke treatment of Gul tropes even now...NM-SC pe toh humein pura bharosa hai hi🤗😆

I loved loved loved yesterday's episode. After a long time I enjoyed the whole episode and not just a scene here and there. We are back to the point where the first story started and where this new story starts too. And Boy was the so brilliantly done. What I liked was they were shooting the exact scene in show already 2 years running but it was shot with the same dedication and attention to detail as one would shoot the first scene of a new show. No sign of a casualness or boredom or lukewarm treatment and I was so happy to see that commitment. Well done team.

The only thing that actually jarred while watching since I was watching it on TV is when the new selfie eala montage came on after every break. It looks so out of place with the current story and actual breaks the mood. SP should seriously rethink this. It actually dilutes the impact in the middle of an episode.

The one thing that has blown me away since this Redux started has been NM-SC's performance. Wow! They have been brilliant. This sense of a missing part of themselves feeling that they manage to convey as a constant thing underpinning all the scenes and yet also convey whatever is the obvious emotion of that scene is so so well done. I feel it all the time. This hollow emptiness. It's such a complex layered thing to project and that they are able to do it so constantly and effortlessly has me bowled over. Director sahab has been especially meherban on the kanji aankhein this week and this time I agree with Anika. Kanji aankhein indeed sab kuch bol deti hain.

This is so nicely poised that I am really looking for to next week. This eager anticipation is back after such a long time.

I have loads to say but the time zone is now annoying me 😆. Have to dash again. Be back once I am done

AY such beautiful caps. I can't stop looking at them. I need to rewatch this episode.

I hope the makers also realise that if they keep out random fillers and focus on substance how impactful an episode can be and learn from this.

Amen, Amen, man...haha this feeling is so rare with IB now to enjoy the epi as a WHOLE...for so long we've been left to garner Shivika feels somehow by extracting them away from the groupbaazi bits...but today after ages, a scene, an episode was mostly dedicated to letting those feels flow unfettered and BOY what a difference it made...all of a sudden an optimism came back, anticipation for the next epi...if they were smart, they'd keep this momentum going...lol but you never know with them.

Kanji aakhein have to do the talking when Shivaay gets less dialogues...they were sparkling with an extra something in them today...such a vibrant green...what lighting👏😆

What I especially like about this Redux is that it's not merely as if a reset button has been pressed and the old story is gone and we are into a new story with the same names and faces. It's the fact that there is strong connect with the old story all the time and yesterday's episode highlighted that beautifully. That brings out the soulmates aspect of this. These are not two souls who are yet to connect. Yes they are yet to connect in this reality. But in another reality they have already connected and become one and travelled together and have been cruelly pulled apart in a game. But even if they don't know what has happened and are in another universe that connection is still there. They may not understand it or recognise it as yet but they can feel it. I love that. That their previous journey is not totally negated. It's a silent presence in this new journey. And that's adds a new dimension to this. I hope that thread is kept running through this whole Redux. It was there in plenty yesterday. It's this part that that NM-SC do so well. This haunting emptiness. In the first temple scene they had never connected. This one is the same and yet different because in a another universe they had connected so even they are in a different universe the lingering strains of that connection remain.

I am hurriedly posting between several other things. So I don't know if I am being garbled or there are typos galore. 😛

Haha word...I was saying the same thing...that was my one wish for this track...that the connection, the deja vu to the previous be referenced...and so far they are referencing it much to my satisfaction...there HAD to be a deeper soulful connection this time pulling them towards each other cuz they've already traversed this path once in another lifetime...so that has to color this new journey too...and add new dimensions to it.

To me, the biggest potential right now for this story is exploring the whole angle of Shivika REDISCOVERING each other, UNCOVERING those dormant traits inside each other that only they bring out in each other once again...like dusting off the cobwebs of a memory deeply etched on their souls...it's all already THERE...they just have to FIND it again... and fall more deeply in love all over again...if anyone can do it, these two can...if anyone can PLAY it with that much sincerity, NM-SC can...so my hopes get raised again...until HS finds a way to rain on my parade once again😆😆

LOL Hriju, I don't know why all IPK fans insist on trying to force IPK parallels into this...does every brother-sister storyline in the world only belong to IPK? LOL shocking as it may seem, duniya mein aur bhi shows hain and aur bhi kahaaniyaan...thoda toh aage socho, logon.

I mean I can think of 10 other shows that have bits and pieces of storylines like this...the Anika-Nikhil storyline right now is very similar to Prateeksha's story from Pyar ka Bandhan...an old show on Sony that I guess IPK viewers wouldn't know...lol ...she had a fiance swindling her out of money too and a boss in love with her/irritated by the fact that she was marrying a loser who was using her...lol

I'm taking it a day at a time as of now and not jumping so much into the future vis a vis when and how a shaadi will happen...for now I just want to see how this Shivika manage to meet.

Baaki toh Harneet is treating this more like fan-fiction with tweaks to relationships and characters...lol so let's see where she takes this.

I don't think Nikhil is conning Prinku cuz he's so broke...itna chindi-chor hai...agar Prinku ko phasaa liya hota toh Anika se paise kyun maangta phirta? lol

I am not getting these parallels tooo

FYI it is twin shaadi and prinku seemed pretty excited to get married I doubt it is about nikhil caz then shivaay would've noticed him in mandir if by any chance he is marrying prinku by family ki wajah se since he keeps marooing happenin about his family

Also prinku didn't seemed to be in love or anything she seemed very happy with the thought if shaadi to whoever dadi is getting married to so

And BTW duniya main sach main aage chalo has anyone seen BALH and ram and natz bond there ? Yeah thT is more like what I felt with prinku and shivaay than anjali and ASR # just saying

That is harneet's writing

Why is so hard to think tht a behan can actually be nice and positive. ? And why is saari nazrein of shak on prinku only ? We have more sisters in the show

Anyways I don't want to take this further but zabardasti ke IPK parallels are rather annoying caz I see nothing like ipk here

Oh haha achha yaad dilaaya...that's another Harneet sample writing only na...man, that Natz was a total nutjob😕😆 but yeah Ram was super protective of her like this only...and usmein bhi he married Priya for his sister's sake but not for a hate reason😆...there's only so many types of stories in soapland...they all intersect at some point.

I guess since this is a Gul show, ppl are quick to jump to the IPK comparisons for whatever reason...jab IB shuru hua tha, tab bhi SSO was called an ASR clone...baad mein kya nikla?😆...NM and SC will always put their own spin on things.

I honestly feel Prinku is just a foil to set up this shaadi track...the fiance is already in place...double wedding hai, kuch double drama hoga and will provide a backdrop for Anika to interact with the Oberois as she plans the weddings😆...I have a feeling this Prinku will bond with her too😆...

Objectively speaking, so far this Prinku doesn't seem the fragile/unhinged type of attached to Shivaay...she clearly adores him a lot, loves being pampered by him but us level ka emotional dependence nahin lagaa mujhe...she's stronger than the previous Prinku.

Shivaay is tender hearted about her, yes but again I feel it's been put in as a shade to show his vulnerable side.
