Yes, this week will be a hit or miss, max...and actual meeting may be next week or even later depending on how much HS wants to drag this...lol but I sense the fandom getting impatient...dunno how much longer they will show patience with this😆

As I said elsewhere...a depressed Shivika makes for a depressed Shivika fandom too.

For me, personally...it's not that I can't watch a sad or angsty storyline...but deliberate drawn out mopeyness is a turn off for me and I deffo don't watch IB for that.

Right now, Shivaay's scenes still have an intrigue factor, NM is enacting them well too...but on the Anika side, it's super depressing despite SC doing a good job of whatever she's given.

What if scenario as per Awasthi was what if they missed acknowledging each other at the temple, if he did not break the queue, if she did not object. In that case, my understanding is would they see face to face in another scenario?

3 episodes down, thus is what I feel.

By changing basic traits, it's to be seen will Shivay fall for this dukhiyari Anika. In previous version, Shivay in his video confession acknowledges that he was or rather he implied it's Anika's undying fighting spirit that he noticed her for, wanting her in that rain to get back at him , get up and fight. By changing Anika its like setting the premise to take away that aspect of her which Shivay might not be drawn or attracted to.

But then the problem here is Shivay doesn't have a reversal of trait. He still will do things for family. So there is every chance for her to admire that quality in him eventually.

The premise with change in Anika is not an answer to what if they miss each other at the temple.

This scenario is now what if their core qualities changed the very trait they admired in each other.

But problem is Billu is in SSO mode.

Bas Anika is NOT the Anika that Shivay or us viewers liked her for.

So This seems more a second spin off for the team through Shivika by weakening the characteristics that made them Shivika as a unit. Aur inke side pe apni Dadi bhi nahi hain.

Thy will go back to original plot IF thy get huge backlash & consistent drop in TRPs ... & honestly roti Anika majority of times has failed on TRPs...

LOL I actually think NM enacted that bit quite well...he was meant to show a menacing and unsettling side to Shivaay and that came through...that whole scene was about showing that journalist what a strange character this Shivaay is who can make threats one moment and offer chocolates the next...it was meant to intimidate and scare.

My issue is with the cliched "Haivaan" type language to make it loud melodrama...also that gives me too much annoying deja vu of ppl salivating over Shivaay ka so called "beast" mode from the forced wedding...as if that's something to be proud of😕😆

Annika is what attracted me to this show in the first place because she was so different from the typical TRP bahu. She had spunk.. she was unique but now? It's like watching the same other 800 shows, nothing different 🤔

I'm sure NM & SC will slay their new roles as usual, but such a drastic change is too much for me to digest. Not even they can make me watch

THIS...and that is my problem too...the question posed by Awasthi was totally different...but HS ka answer is to simply change Anika, take away her tadi and make that the premise for why Shivaay won't turn back and supposedly notice her😆...even with the core qualities, they've only changed Anika...not Shivaay...his core is mostly the same...so this has been made a convoluted "test" by HS as always.

The irony is that as always there was SCOPE to do this well...but HS went with abla naari Anika yet again after failing SO many times on that front😆...as if only an abla naari Anika will be one that SHivaay fails to notice in first chance😆

Daadi toh is the ultimate letdown of this Redux...sigh

On a different note, I liked this sweet Tia😆...bechaari though...Shivaay still ignores her mostly whether or not she's spouting "Universal" gyaan😆

Had to add...

Nakuul and Surbhi, amazing actors making the best from what's available.

Individual scenes dekha jaaye toh it's commendable.

Am happy NM still got the best actor award in a zee organised show. SP bahu hosting Zee award ceremony. Acha hai

Am happy Surbhi got 'stellar performer' award amidst the trp topping serials ke leads me beech mei se.

Anu, tell me if I got to edit anything here...just asking

Does HS respond to feedback from fans or only trp? Coz I already skipped today's episode after the first 2 minutes😔. I am planning to watch only after Shivika meet. I was too excited for the redux😭. At least previous Shivaay had some fun moments with his bros and Anika had her colourful words and her clumsy chappal.

But then, I hope HS doesn't take feedback too seriously as to turn the plot into a full comedy track without story progression.

I have no issues with NM ma acting he was very scary as per the demand of the script...

Mera problem yeah hain Shivay ki tadi in this reboot format is looking forced when he claims he is doing everything & anything for his family... Because the basic warmth of Obros is also missing ...

The entire kitchen scene felt so flat...muzhe esa laga tv par koie show dekhate dekhate Shivay was cooking...😆
