Honestly I haven't seen the entire episode. One of my friends asked me to catch the end and I did that. The precap was another level for the unknown pain. He was so broken. So broken. Despite the fact I don't like the set up for the story this time, I have started enjoying the small scenes since a few episodes. The man is so broken in this one. She is so tired of fighting, kind aura hits me. All they need is some love to rescue them. That they will find in each other.

What was piercing was his sudden urge to make her address him as Shivaay. Like he was giving her right on himself, seeing her drift towards another man.
Nice Point of view. but true because as per episode, he actually went to throw her out, but forgot everything when he heard about her wedding. SSO asking her to call him Shivaay might just be for the reason you mentioned, a common ground and giving her the right to call him by his name to bind her more to him in a way.
The last part where the man comes and calls her his Mrs. Added fuel. But gave me a sadistic pleasure. For every time in past he called Tia his wife. For every time he did not call Anika his wife.
