How can someone destroy one's own creation? How do you just erase everything out? You can't start everything on a clean slate all over again.
How long do you blame a skewed rating system and go on self destruction mode to STAY AFLOAT
Why is it necessary to stay on air with this story only? If you are so confident of a new script, and trust the already established actors' potential, why not end the current storyline and recast them to play new characters. If the chemistry of the lead pair and the rest of the cast is what you are banking on, trust them to recreate the same with new story. If there is no difference between the large screen and small screen as claimed by actors and creators alike, the actors can be recast together just like in film industry.
Why destroy a beautiful creation with such vengeance. They did it before with Rudra and Saumya's story. It's almost equal or even worse with Shivay and Anika today. So will Anika also get kicked for those few moments that she considered avenging Oberois who are supposedly "doodh ke dhule. Saumya and Kapoor sisters did the same to avenge the ones who they believed killed their father. How different is Anika today?
Why not take a break during IPL months and return with seasons of the show. How difficult is it to include online viewer's viewership ratings. How difficult is it to develop apps or platforms that can track viewer's interest n a particular show.
It's all eyewash to continue the blame game. Have mentioned this before, will repeat it again. Producers or actors would not take an initiative to get this issue sorted. But continue to destroy storylines to remain on-air.
I belong to the era where I could trust the maker's vision in a script and had patience for a story to unfold. There was no compulsion on the makers also to cater to audience's quick reactions/rato-meter and change scripts every week.
A lot of people subscribe to hotstar. The channel can know which shows are being watched. The channel makes money through subscriptions. No? Correct me if I am wrong. So why not risk moving the show as web based series.
Itna bhi kya darr hai ki will it flop or succeed. It's better than the makers/creatives/producers living weekly nightmares on Thursday. Audience will continue to throw tantrums on SNS on notice of show going off-air. They will find new shows to watch eventually. Duniya band nahi hoti. One will feel sad BUT move on. And even the producer advises to pick any from other 799+ shows. Actors will find new projects as even they are aware that 799 other shows are in the making. So nightmare is in reality only for makers. You don't end up making a success out of all shows you make. Their personal experience says so.
Writers'creativity is on safekeeping mode. In the Deep freeze. Kabhi toh freeze-thaw attempt kar lo, shayad woh bhi 1.7 trp le aaye until IPL and top 10 mei barkaraar rahe. At least a beautiful story would remain undestroyed. At least some of us viewers who love a show for the characters and their journey so far will appreciate the commitment the makers show towards the characters they created but we continue to keep close to heart.
If ever in the next week this all be shown as one of their PLAN, I am not a 2yr old to believe that. Ab itne bhi bewakoof nahin hai .
