Hmmm writing fiction is good, funnily when people think they can degrade other characters in their stories to insult fans because otherwise same thing if posted as a comment here is forbidden here 😆

There is a big difference between a good story n a vindictive one. The day a writer understands this and write accordingly i guess her story will not even be reported.

Anyway dont you trust your own characters to write a story to elevate them? Should people be degraded as the only means to show your characters are better😆

If this is the case, then why are you people even angry with harneet? You are doing the same😲

Funnier is the moral policing going here, they can mock and taunt anf when same is done they tell you to grow up😆

Arre first grow up yourselves, some have been bashing everyday for a show they dont even watch since long now, who really needs a life here? Who really needs to stop being invested in characters here?

Look in the mirror before throwing taunts at others😊

And this playing vindictive fictions by insulting characters you hate, be careful it can be a two way traffic in future. 😆

For godsake its a fan fiction i have seen many shivika stories in which shivaay is shown to be cruel physical abuser husband, is he the same in ib currently no right? So is the writer trying to degrade him?

Harneet writes a serial she is not a fan she writes as a seller n we are her buyers its a professional relationship. We have all the right to tell her to write something for our favs since her writing is reflected on tv. In fanfictions too u have all the right to dont like it and criticize it. But to shut it down completely just because the writer didn't imagine according to u?

Fan fictions are not a consumer buyer relationship, a fan creates for herself what she wants to see what she imagined the story to be and how she wants her favorite character to progress or how she wants her non fav character to be. They dont reflect on tv they r just a different take on characters created by someone else.

first one talks about freedom for creativity of a writer, but ultimately you restrict it as per your own wishes...

if a writer has the right to write anything, be it fanfictions or stories for show- and the general trend is to ignore if one dont like it, then why is Harneet being bashed?

IB is her story, the characters are hers- as per everyone's logic her she must also be able to do anything she wants with them, she hardly owes anyone of us here anything.

and i will end it again with, sorry but i dont see Gulneet putting a knife under anyone's neck and forcing you to watch the show😊, or are they?

if you dont like something, simple dont watch and ignore... what's with the everyday mockery happening.

as far as i can see here and on other social media, many are still loving her tracks- thus they are still watching ( i will repeat i stopped watching since long because of certain track, but i just left..)😊

Lol anyway i have a life, feel free to reply but i guess i'm only going to be able to reply next week only, if this post is still here😆

Harneet is being bashed because her writing is being reflected on tv, n u have all the right to bash a ff writer too no one is against bashing if the writer can write whatever he or she wants then a reader can bash him or her however he or she wants. Writer n readers has all the right to express themselves But to block his or her creativity completely is it fair? N that too just because the writer is not writing according to ur whims n fancies. Criticize the writer tell her u dont like her work but dont censor n block her creativity. Dont restrict them from writing altogether by forcing her to remove her work.

Just like harneets writing is reported to star plus readers have reported IF fanfictions to mods. Simple 😊

If fanfictions should not be reported I would suggest IF mods to remove report button on FF posts 😊

Never thought this post will cross page 2. The title is addressed to IB writers and it has turned into rikara writers vs a Shivika fan. I don't think a Shivika fan who don't like rikara will ever read a rikara fiction.(completely my opinion)

I didn't comment before because I didn't find it necessary. I don't consider myself a great writer and I don't think my first and only ff (obviously Shivika) will ever need a disclaimer. Because all the characters in my story have the same character traits as of the show.

But now I want to share some thoughts with TM.

I have never read any ffs before IB. My sole reason for reading ffs is the love for Shivika. I have read so many stories. By the word fan fiction what I understand is that a variation of the original plot of the show or a different story in an alternate universe, with the characters that have the same basic character traits as of the show. That's what a fan fiction means to me. I repeat that's what a fan fiction means to Me. But I have read so many stories which only have the name if the character, who have not even a single character trait of the original character. When I see such a story what usually do is simply ignore it. I have never questioned it. But I even read some of them just because how beautifully it has been written. But normaly when I couldn't connect with a character I just stop reading any further. It's completely the choice of the writer. Characters do have a journey may be the character who have the basic trait can have significant change during the course of his/her journey. In such a case I don't think the writer can give the disclaimer at the beginning of the story. Because that may not be planned before starting the story.

I think you are trying to say that you love reading some ffs but you can't stand the out of character behaviour of certain characters(according to you) but you love reading rest of the characters. So you need a disclaimer.

If you can't connect with any character then address it to the writer may be he/she can explain it to you and may be you can see their perspective. Because I have seen such discussions in Shivika ff threads. I don't read rikara ffs so don't know about any of them.

The reason for writing an ff can be anything, frustration due to the way the show is progressing, love for a couple, just as a hobby or anything. If it is because of frustration you can see it in the story.

This post and your request will always be in my and and I will consider this whenever I write something so out of character which I hope never happens.

P.S: this is my first forum and my knowledge regarding fan fictions are limited to Shivika ffs. I don't intend to mock or bash anyone.

The problem is the hypocrisy u are worried abt shivaay being degraded in only rikara fanfictions?

Go n read a ff by a shivika fan called devil's bride. Shivaay is degraded there too but no shivika fan is reporting it. He is being shown violent and abusive not only towards anika but also towards his unborn child in that ff. If u r so worried abt shivaay being degraded be worried abt in all ffs but only a rikara fan shd not degrade shivaay. N if u read that ff shivaay was not degraded half of what he is being degraded in this ff.
