My request to every fanfiction writers in this forum is to put a disclaimer (if for any purpose you are degrading a character as your story requires..) I happen to like reading stories of not just shivika but all the pairs.. But sometimes I feel bad when my favorite character is degraded.. Yes it's your story so you can do whatever you want to do but my request is to put a desclaimer so that readers can understand whether to read those stories or not...

Will certainly do that if i do intend on degrading a character to glorify another; but the way i see it, i doubt Harneet writes any fiction in IF 😳 If only Gul put up a disclaimer on IB too, where so many characters were butchered mercilessly! 😆

A light hearted comment, and i honestly dont intend to bash anyone, atleast not a real person! Cheers.

Well you should've made this request sooner. We would've taken care of your request then.

Then perhaps your friends would have not reported Rikara fanfics because it "apparently degraded" your fav fictional character.

But thanks we'll keep it in mind now.😊

Though an unasked for advice. Fanfiction is double fiction, first the characters themselves are fiction and second they stuck in an alternate universe. So taking offense on behalf of fictional characters who are not even based on the serial completely is a bit too much don't you think? Maybe you should skip reading fanfics altogether.

Disclaimers do not stop reporting- I am key witness to that fact. The ff I removed was heavily disclaimed. TBH I don't get why this is being discussed. The very need for this topic conveys lack of maturity. They're fictional characters, and they're being used for fictional purposes - nobody is trying to hurt the feelings of others. I feel the post is in bad taste.

Yes they are fictional characters but one cannot deny that people get attached to fiction as well.. We start liking their stories and we fall in love with the characters.. And about reporting I never reported anything till now no matter how much I dislike it.. My request is simple.. Yes everyone is free to write whatever they want, I am not telling you not to do that, but I am requesting you and other writers to put a disclaimer.. Whether to oblige it or not is upto you and other writers..

For god sake its a FAN FICTION

I read many fanfictions in which the main lead is "degraded" like anything. Read arshi fanfics few of them "degrade" arnav to being a rapist gangster and what not.

Intolerance for a jodi even in fanfictions is so appalling. Like really guys grow up. Never seen so much negativity on any forum.

Then if anyone writes bad about a character then why fans come to defend them.. It's fiction right no one should be offended.. When you become a fan that means you fall in love with the character, and love is an emotion.. I am not bashing or taunting the writers, its a request on my side..

I'm not a writer..but a reader for sure..

Every writer believes that their story is gud..we only post a story when we have full confidence abt our creativity..

So behan who will in their right mind do such craziness.putting disclamir that hey readers I'm bashing some characters here.so please stay away..then why the hell a writer needs to post story in IF.mods ki warning milne keliye😆 every story is nt a fairy tale. some give us different reading experience .

So ur post is bit illogical..like some mahaan log said.if u didn't like one's creativity.another 100 out of there..woh pado..enjoy karo..khush raho😳

I am not saying do not write whatever you want to write.. Let me give an example I read a lot of HP fanfiction were some of the main characters were bashed and degraded.. But they put a disclaimer before hand that in this fiction so and so are bashed so read at your own risk.. I am telling the writers not to write such fiction I am just asking them to put a disclaimer..

Erm in most of the stories that I've read , I get an idea of what the characterisation is going to be in the starting itself...if I don't like it , I don't continue.

And yes I've seen many putting in disclaimers too.

It requires hours of effort to write something . It's not at all a wise idea to report and shut it down if you're hurt.

Our criticisms over the episodes are unwelcomed , so are our FFs😆

Y certain set of rules for some only😳
