A woman is in a position where her husband royally ignores her, disappears out of blue without telling the reason and is kept in the dark whereas on the other hand, she keeps thinking about him, gets worried for him and keeps thinking about his family. And may be sometimes she keeps thinking about what is bothering him so much. Obviously when such a big plan is made, at some point a husband's emotions comes infront of his wife which would make her concerned. This I believe is not shown in the show.

Provided that they have come a long way from misunderstandings to trusting each other, If he can't even trust her with family issues, then the very base of the relationship is shook again. And that woman would definitely feel that she has been cheated all the while

It's not the insecurity, it all comes down to trust again.

Well keeping in mind all these emotions which are never shown, fictions are based.

This is entirely my POV. I'm not replying further.

And those fictions were also based on the fact that they have butchered Gauri's character beyond measure.

Veer's issue was never only one person's . The moment he was shown shaking hands with Svetlana and all that Obro Barbadi thing they planned , it became a family issue.

There's nothing wrong in it. Both are smart and can provide good help. Hiding thing comes up when u think your wife would blabber things or her act would spoil the plan of others . I don't think BhavRi are like dt. They could've been alerted at least if not included in the plan.

(I guess the writer has also changed her plan and included them now )

Now I have a question for you ,

If you and your husband love each other a lot and are supposed to share everything with each other. Infact your husband even made fuss when you Hid something from him , would you like it when he's hiding his family problems from you ?

You left your family for him and he can't even consider you worthy enough to know his family problems ?!

Your question was about fanfiction right - well maybe I missed it but I've never seen you post any of these things as a comment on a fanfiction to the writer- surely they are the ones with the right answer for you, then you would not need to keep repeating your question. As a fanfic writer and RiKara fan myself who has written a piece on separation actually, perhaps I can give you my take. If somebody writes a piece of fiction and you overanalyse it, then it's best to ask the writer these questions. Personally separation is a very powerful plot device - especially in a relationship marred with misunderstandings and as RiKara has not had a long separation onscreen it's nice to write about. Of course separation cannot be for a petty reason so slight exaggeration is commonplace. Using a disregard for her is the most believable route to achieve such a plot. Separation from her husband can only truly be achieved by separation from all her in-laws too, as brothers like ShivOmRu could never hide such things from one another and Anika would not be able to bear Om in pain for too and wouldn't keep secrets family-related from her husband so they can't know where Gauri is. The only way Gauri would cut ties with them is if she was also angry at them - hence the need to be angry at AniShivOmRu or practically the whole Oberoi Family. Obviously most of us love Omkara to make him a cheater or abusive or anything of the sort so we just exaggerate his natural tendencies on the show - to hide things related to saving the family from his wife.

I see nothing wrong in fanfiction writers making choices to separate a couple in their own writing- it's their creative liberty and their head canon does not mean to cause offence. This question is in fact very dividing for the RiKara fandom simply because it is addressed to the wrong people. Nobody has to justify creativity. However other fanfiction writers may have other reasons for their choices in writing and I believe they are fully entitled to do as they please in their work of fiction.

That's all I have to say on this topic and I don't care for a reply or not as I will not check in again.
