If we thought yesterday's epi packed an emotional punch, today's episode knocked it out of the park on a whole new level.

I'm finding it hard to gather my thoughts given the sheer RANGE of emotions we got to witness again today...so in no particular order, I'm just gonna ramble about all the bits I loved today:

1) Right off the mark, SC just KILLED the opening scene with her voice modulation👏👏...Shivaay's stricken expression when Tej asks to search their suitcases but still immediately offers those up for searching despite Pinky-Shakti's protests...and then Shivika's expressions when Tej turns the subject to taunting Anika for all the jewellery she's loaded on today...

I dreaded this cliched situation since yesterday but BOY was it emotionally performed...the way Anika glanced down at the jewellery almost in surprise like she forgot she had it on and rushed to immediately take it off without anyone saying anything to her...the maasoomiyat in that moment...and then when Daadi rushed to stop her, the way she told Daadi that all this gold and silver isn't what adorns her...she is adorned by having her Shivaay with her...the way she turns to run her hand over Shivaay's chest and says, "Main toh apne Shivaay ke hone se sajti hoon"...Days like these, SC reminds me why I'm a fan...what can be a pretty cliched line on paper is just TRANSFORMED in the hands of his actor👏👏...and then there's Shivaay on the side just watching her with so much emotion on his face...what a UNIT these two...I'll never tire of praising that👏

The way Shivaay goes and puts the jewellery in Jhanvi's hands with such love as if giving it to her for safekeeping and Jhanvi even takes it without protest...spoke a lot for Shivaay's regard for her in that moment despite everything and Jhanvi is not worthy of commenting on as of now.

2) Shivaay's expression when Pinky again clings to him to stop him from leaving...just another in a set of amaaazing nuances from NM today...and NA is brilliant everytime, goes without saying

And Shakti hugging Anika emotionally

3) Shivaay hugging Daadi again, asking her not to cry, saying koi nahin royega...but barely managing to hold back his own tears...what touched me so much was Anika SENSING all this and trying to brush her hands over him consolingly over and over again...

And then Shivaay would kinda do the same...like in this moment when Anika broke down while hugging Gauri, Shivaay's the one kinda gathering her, needing to steel both of them to get going

4) Then everything just going into a different gear when Rudy showed up with the gun pointed at his head...the sheer desperation in him in that moment...the shock and horror in everyone, most especially Shivika...the way they find a way to tackle the situation by distracting him and wresting the gun away from him...

Shivaay unloading the gun into the air, leading the chandelier coming crashing down...super dramatic moment...but also added to the ominous feel of the entire situation...the darkness descending on OM as everything shatters...

But it was from this moment on ki NM toh NM, Mr. Lee just really outdid himself today👏👏...firstly MAJOR thanks to HS for finally giving some meaty stuff to Lee to perform and BOY did he knock it out the ballpark today...the way Shivaay pulled Rudy around and slapped him over and over...the anger, he pain, all coming out through those slaps...and how in a moment, Rudy is back to being the little baby folding his hands, pleading in front of his bhaiyya...Shivaay BLASTING him for DARING to speak of killing himself in front of his elder brother...and then going into authoritarian mode ORDERING Rudy to listen to him since pyar se samjhaane clearly didn't work...I just found this moment so heartbreaking for both of them...Shivaay trying so hard to stabilize Rudy and bring a sense of order to everything...but Rudy desperately repeating over and over ki don't go...I'm ready to do anything, I'll go to college, I'll study hard, I'll take part in the business...oh Rudy, you just broke my heart there😭😭

The way he was clinging to Shivaay so much, refusing to let him go😭

5) The portion where Rudy literally falls to Shivaay's feet, clinging to his feet pleading with him to not go...the heartbroken cries stay with you long after the scene is over...in this moment, Rudy became Laxman with the way he's on his knees, hands folded, watching the man he worships walking away.

To add to the heartbreak, Anika has her hand on Shivaay's shoulder this whole time, and turns back to watch Rudy as they leave...almost like she is the link b/w them in that moment and through her, Shivaay can see and feel everything even as he stoically keeps walking out, his eyes showing all that pain...this moment was so amazingly filmed...kudos to the director for his vision and to the actors performing this👏👏

6) Shivaay's EYES in that last scene...all the heartbreak in them...the way the FBs of the Obros were woven in...the tears falling despite all his effort to hold himself together...and that moment when he holds Anika's hand on his shoulder as if he needed to hold her to anchor himself in that moment as he takes the home in for one last time, the way he looks up as if taking it all in one last time...the way both of them are holding on to each other in that moment of heartbreak before they finally walk out...words can't do justice to this moment...it has to be watched for the sheer brilliance with which NM-SC performed it

7) The final "filmy" moment if you will, with the way the light of the diya extinguishes the moment Shivika step out...but I loved this moment for the FLIP in Rudy...the way his expressions change to pure RAGE as he sees that empty doorway...again BRILLIANTLY performed by Lee...the last thing holding Rudra's rage at bay...Shivaay just left the house...he is hardly going to take this well...and the unraveling already begins...Tej stands in front of Rudra as he's busy smashing everything but that barely puts a dent in Rudy's rage...warning him of worse to come before he stomps off...

Once again, a standing ovation for the whole team today👏...what a SUPERBLY executed epi from the writing, the acting, to the direction...but I really must make note of NM, SC, and Lee today cuz they were the stars of the epi for me...today I wished there was another award ceremony tomorrow because the way this team has executed this epi after we thought we'd already seen the PEAK of their abilities, they deserve all the awards possible once again👏👏

What a beautiful episode that was! BEAUTIFUL! Amazing work by the cast and crew who made this epi and the last few epis so good!

As much as we praise these guys, it's never enough. They never fail to prove how deserving they are of all the awards! I wish this show bags many more awards just for this set of epis!

It must be really difficult to act for such emotional and highly dramatic scenes, for over 10 episodes. Kudos to the cast for their dedication.👏

Today's episode is one of those which will come close to the infamous BOOM wedding... One to be remembered.

It felt like I was watching a 90s movie. Khidkitod drama, feels and heartbreak!

Dhadkan, K3g and all in one.😆 Bas trp mil jaye.😆

There was a lot of the typical TRP drama today, but none of it was cringe-worthy. The episode turned out beautiful!

1- I loved that scene where Annika removes her jewellery. Beauty of that scene was in the way Annika still came out with her head held high, even after such humiliation. The way SC delivered those TRP bahu lines with such grace that the scene just raised to a new level of beauty.

I actually loved those lines.😆

I loved dadi's interference here. Details like these complete such scenes. I liked how Annika gave them to Shivaay and then he handed those over to Jhanvi. It was like Shivaay was handing over his wife's amaanat to the people ruining him.

Shivaay must be feeling pretty awful and guilty for Annika going through all this because of his family. I like this scene because it somewhat felt like a foreshadowing to Annika regaining the respected status, and this coming a full circle.

I could feel michmichis when Jhanvi accepted Annika's jewellery. No further comments on her.

2- I love NA. All her bits were fab today! Her voice, her voice modulation, her body language, everything screamed pain today. So beautiful!

'Don't touch my feet, I'm not worth it.'

'You know na Shivaay, your mother can't live without you' and Shivaay's face at that...he actually melted at that... NM was so good at this.

'Shivaay's leaving all this for you, he's a raja'

Pinky's redemption in process. Arc's happening.😆

3- When Shivaay pulled Annika from Gauri, I was weirdly reminded of KKHH's scene where Anjali is leaving the summer camp.😆 Gauri played the role of that 'tussi jaa rahe ho' kid, and Rudy later played the role of Rahul.😆

That small moment when Shivaay looks at the house when Annika meets Gauri... such details...

4- Shivika's tiny argument. I'm glad HS writes shivika with all the focus and detailing.

No matter what the situation is, these two will stay in their element. I find this quality very endearing. Khushi mein argue, gham mein argue, problem mein argue, problem solve karne mein argue... Reminded me of their vows...when Annika said that it's their speciality...it's what makes them unique...

5- Shiv-Ru

I loved how Shivaay slapped Rudr with full haq. The irony! Shivaay's being made to leave the house to stay away from OmRu and here haq se Shivaay slaps his brother and scolds him.

And then Rudy clutching onto Shivaay's leg, desperately. It must have been SO difficult for Shivaay to leave Rudy (whom Shivaay treated like a son) crying and holding his leg that way.

I loved how Annika kept looking at Rudy while walking out...I almost expected her to walk back to console the boy...wish we had a scene of these two...

6-One moment which stood out for me was Shivaay taking hold of Annika's hand on his shoulder. Full of feels<3 As though he was grasping onto his only strength, support and the only thing keeping him alive and going...seeking support from his wall.

7-That perfect soundtrack! Great job this time by the department. 👏

8- I just wish family would've asked Annika also to take care of herself instead of just asking her to take care of Shivaay. :(

9- That dia moment was good too. TRP material, but a nice touch! Reminded me of devdas.😆

10- Rudy being verbal about the senior Oberois' horrible parenting.👏

Precap: I'm teeny bit annoyed with Shivaay. I applaud Annika for her patience in putting up with this secretive SSO. Had I been in Annika's place, I'd have pulled his hair until he told me. 😆

PS: Wrote this for making a separate post, but nevermind. Your post hit my view at the right time.

ETA: That moment when Rudr promises to be a better, a more responsible man.. the emotion in Shivaay's eyes at that... the helplessness he felt at that was heartbreaking! It made me wonder if Shivaay was reminded of what he said in the PC...

At some level, NM, SC, Lee and NA especially, weren't even acting, they just lived the characters! 👏👏⭐️ To HS and LM, 👏👏 for fab writing and direction that bring the characters alive!

Today Lee was awesome, he completely surprised me with his performance, and hope that as from now on he gets such scenes to perform on.

About NM and SC, i doubt words can even define how much they make shivika so beautiful and they kinda of makes us live these characters, their happiness and their pains everything👏

and i'm hoping for more and more episodes at this level because this is just the start now

There are a handful of episodes in my opinion that qualify ishqbaaaz for the best show' awards it's won. And today was one of those. I'd truly detached, but seeing the response on twitter I caught up and FFed through some 3 weeks of episodes saved on my tv to watch today.. And boy! Detached?! I cried like a baby! What an ensemble cast this show has! To take trope like The jewelry removal (of course, Annika had to get decked out in gold for the first time ever on the show for this), and turning it into a truly touching moment. Her shock and immediate recovery.. so beautifully done! Every one.. Gauri's hopeful smile when Tej stops them, which immediately falters when he asks to check the bags.. Daadi's disgusted expression at that.. Pinky's outrage, Shivaay and Annika's disbelief! All the moments you mentioned.. and Lee! Omg!! That boy really is the heart of the show.. and he broke ours with Rudy's today. Shivaay's rage at his threat of suicide, his look of utter and complete helplessness after.. SC's looking back at Ru and holding on to Shivaay to comfort while somehow wanting to hold him back. Just everything! Flawless performances. I really really hope this gives them the TRPs they need. If this doesn't I don't know what will.

The last 2 epi will be forever remembered for the power-pact performances by our amazing casts namely NM SC and not to forget LM..what an emotional ride it has been...from giving the right expressions to voice modulation to dialogues delivery the actors nailed it with their flawless acting

Where to start from i took so long to gather my thoughts together so i can post kuch aisa that makes little sense but honestly am a mess and khud se essay likhna is really hard aaj caz bloody whole episode is epic samjh nahi aata kis kis moment ko highlight karo and kya likho so yeah this is going to be all over the place and going to sound pretty repetitive but still.. i feel that it is necessary to still type it caz the Team deserves it the least we can do as fans is to appreciate since trp main toh cannot contribute as much as i want to but Dear Tv Gods plz Bless this team with results caz they deserve every bit of it for all the hard work they've done over he past few days. not a single dull moment and sabne jaan laga di hai to make it this good. honestly at this point as you guys have already said it is not even characters anymore these guys are living these characters and abhi nahi toh kabhi nahi. plz aunties kripa kariye

Sabse pehle have to start from SC. As i said earlier i have never seen an actress cry more beautifully then her and does so much with her voice at least in TV This girl is truly truly Blessed and i want to just give her tight hugs. kal se i was worried ke yeh jewellry drama is going to make me cringe they will make it slo mo cringy with her taking bangles one by one you know the usual ways but Boy i was so pleasantly surprised by it. First toh they did not do any of that and nibtao it pretty realistically and 2nd this girl slayed it like no one's business .

the moment she looked at her arm that oh wow and then bina any prompting started taking it off & in between her look to shivaay yeah i mean how can you not fall in love with her . Bina baat kiye bhi she delivers so much with mere looks . loved dadi coming to her rescue and then she opened her mouth and i went all in AWWW and was forced to pause and clap for how convincing she made such trp lines sound . as i said there is no one like her just no one who can deliver it with so much conviction . i loved the silent look exchange between shivika too and the way shivaay went and handed it over to jhanvi.

here i have to mention that kuddos to team for maintaining that respect factor and highlighting in all the rishtas so much chaos happening everyone on the edge having melt down emotional outbursts and all but one thing in all that was everyone maintaining a maryada a seema be it shiavaay ki silence in front of tejvi not a word in retaliation or ru simply looking down when shivaay yells at him or anika not at all making it an issue and halki si baat pe full respect and dignity ke saath taking her gehnas off. i would also add rudy ka faceoff with tej too in this caz yes rudy did say the truth about everything called him Mr Oberoi and all But

there was still this sense ke haan tej afterall bada hai and ghusse main bhi he did not come to tu tada or raising his hand unlike somebody else, his anger was beyond any limits he was a volcano that errupted toda esp after his bhai his jaan his jeene ki wajah basically his every rishta left him all alone in mid of this toofan yet ru did not went onto taking it off on tej in the sense ke tej pe haath uthaye. he did tod tad ( here also i saw the similarity with shivaay cheezein todna truly he is shivaay ka mirror image in many ways) he screamed he spilled the truth tea about whatever was happening since start yet ek sense of bada chota was there if that makes sense and that again deserves applause form makers caz it is so easy to cross that line esp in so much heavy drama👏

Coming to NM and his nuances man I am toh speechless. iss bande ka koi competition sirf yeh khud hai caz the kind of emotions touches he brings to shivaay esp in last few days absolutely no match. it is Like subah ghar se thaan ke chalta hai ke he needs to beat his own previous performance and prove all the people dissing him wrong. 👏 he really is giving all he has to offer and the best part is always brings something new to usual kind of everyday scenes. His performances never feel like we've been there we've seen that now do something more . everyday there is somethign new to look forward too and i can't help but go WOWWW. He is freaking unreal . i have liked a lot of tv actors and seen a lot of brilliance but nothing quite like Nm and i take Huge pride in being his fan and so glad i ended up seeing that one sequence and got hooked. This man is still so underrated when it comes to acting and he deserves so much more 👏👏👏. Dukaan hai yeh of innovating of adding his own . i have SRK ka quote for his act that he leaves a part of himself in every episode . DITTO for SC 👏 abhi same baatein again type ki toh bohat lamba ho jayega yeh but the feeling is exactly the same for her too & when they come together👏 the force is Unbeatable

we saw that in the scene where they finally walked out OH BOY

These Few caps are everything Just everything i cannot even go onto type about it caz i have no bloody words for how awesome this moment was. him looking around biting his lips caz he can't look back yet feeling the pain of his brothers. him about to collapse but cannot so he holds her hand to gain the support the himmat to stand to absorb the feeling on his one last time remembering the achi yaadein the times well spent and then not holding back on his tears and letting them Go. Again a very very powerful scene caz usually they don't show men crying or when they do they make them look so whinny & immature that you are like bas bhi karo aise koi nahi karta but then shivaay ke tears main bhi itna restrain itna class itna realism dikha bohat bohat bohat Beautiful and well done ..i can write another essay on what those tears did to me and hwo well Nm did it . just look at the way his tears started sparkling man yeh banda kya cheez hai and again SC ko ignore bilkul kar hi nahi sakte. this is the perfect example of when they say they bring the best out of the other and play off each other's reactions. In NM ke words she is a huge part of his success with this show and that is highlighted so well in this moment

the moment with Lee Man again i don't know what to say that haven't been said already. rudy ki pleadings rudy ka crying ru holding shivaay so tightly and constantly repeating just one thing nahi jaane doonga. gosh the boy is traumatized. again i had i backtrack on my words from yesterday after watching the scene and how it played out. brilliant execution and it worked big time . usually sach scenes again turn out so W*F but yahan they have a winner👏 shivaay slapping ru and trying to make him understand *sigh* so many feelings and i have elaborated on the slaps and aftermath in the other reply so not going to repeat except that the moment shivaay jhatkooed rudy away from his leg and tried to be cruel for a moment . the pain cannot be explained.

anika looking back at ru is something of next level altogether

rest again fab stuff dadi, nitika ji shinky + anika everything so on point

so all in all everyone did amazing & inka koi mtach hi nahi hai after these episodes

Word on how difficult it must be to film so many emotional and dramatic scenes back to back for almost two weeks running now...it's been a STUPENDOUS run👏...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say today's epi beat the BOOM epi for me but I hear you on both epis being ones that will be remembered for a long time...iconic milestones in the IB journey👏👏

This. This...word to everything you pointed out here...despite this being TRP drama on paper, the acting and direction took it to another level...the attention to detail as you said...the way Daadi rushed over to stop Anika, Anika's own reaction to removing the jewellery, the way Shivaay watched her through out it all...these touches just elevated the scene...Love what you pointed out about the GRACE with which Anika pulled off even a cliched TRP lines...this is what sets her apart from the herd.

Pinky's redemption in process. Arc's happening.😆 LOL I'm not sure that's really supposed to be Pinky's redemption since Shivaay still hasn't fully forgiven her...I think it was a moment of weakness from Pinky...she was so shattered over Shivaay leaving that she transferred some affection onto Anika for once😆...usmein bhi mainly cuz she knew sirf Anika hogi Shivaay ke saath and she wanted someone to take care of Shivaay😆

3- When Shivaay pulled Annika from Gauri, I was weirdly reminded of KKHH's scene where Anjali is leaving the summer camp.😆 Gauri played the role of that 'tussi jaa rahe ho' kid, and Rudy later played the role of Rahul.😆 Haha that's a cute way of looking at it...Gauri really was like a little baby in that moment the way she was crying for them to not leave...Today's AniRi hug was more touching than yesterday's IMO

That small moment when Shivaay looks at the house when Annika meets Gauri... such details... +1...sooo many details woven in...I just had to capture everything I could😆

Somewhere, I didn't mind a lack of a one on one AniRu scene today cuz that moment when she turns back to watch him was just SO powerfully filmed...that was one epic, memorable moment that spoke for SO much

8- I just wish family would've asked Annika also to take care of herself instead of just asking her to take care of Shivaay. :( LOL too early to expect that...everyone's lives revolve around Shivaay in this show😆

+10000...that's exactly how it felt like to me as well...and that is what floored me SO much while watching...itna doob ke, JAAN daal ke they've performed this entire stretch of episodes but especially TODAY...makes your regard for them as performers just to go another level then👏👏
