IB and other ramblings.....

Honestly I haven't followed IB or DBO completely until recently. And although I enjoy Shivika scenes, their humour and chemistry, I have always been drawn to Rikara. And it doesn't help that Kunal is so damn hot!

Even when Om misunderstood Gauri and thought she was having an affair with Arjun it brought back a lot of memories.They got everything right this time. Gauri learnt English for Om, confessed in English, gave him a piece of her mind, and put him in his place. Om did not just assume she would be back. He had to work for it. It was glorious how Gauri literally counted the times Om hurt her and asked him how he would've felt had it all happened to him. At that point in their story I was like a junkie on the best ever crack.
But after that, everything happened so rapidly it was a whirlwind. I don't mind Gauri forgiving Om because it is in her nature. And the poor guy actually put in some work. But now, it's like they've completely forgotten all that. It's been 2 weeks since it all happened. The shift from such an intense track to all this comedy was too abrupt. Let's not even mention the whole Goa thing. I didn't get the point of it. But the whole pregnancy thing was really cute and what Shivaay said for Anika really proves that IB is among the most progressive shows on TV today. But you need to show some consistency guys. Like what even is your editor doing. And what's with the villains coming in and going out as they please. (I'm not going to talk about the horrible vfx. That'll just take me to a whole other rant).
The Shivika consummation track was a much needed one. I agree. But what was the need of the WHOLE FREAKIN FAMILY TO GET INVOLVED IN IT?!?!?! They could've gone on a holiday and we could have had the same track. In the meantime you could show some meaningful progression in Rikara and Ruvya's track. Yesterday's episode was HILARIOUS. But that was it. No story at all for the others. Shivika deserve this consummation track. (Although the whole using Laal ishq and paint is like complete character assassination for Om man. It's pretty unfair. There was so much you could do but you HAD to go with that one?). Even if it is for a couple of minutes, we would like to see a progression in the story.
I was so happy for the whole team when the TRPs came up. But do you realise that it happened because of meaningful episodes with progressive storylines for all the couples. Not just one. Even the old age track with Shivika was shown beautifully.
Makers I really urge you use your power in the form of the super talented actors you have to come up with a meaningful and progressive track. Your writers show these occasional glimpses of brilliance and then go back to showing svetlana and her creepy and extremely unrealistic plans. I mean come on! Really? A frozen dabba? Who carries that around?
Okay I think I should end this already long rant. I know it's very haphazard and random. But I had to get this out.

A lot of rikara fans do have the same questions but we can safely assume that those questions will never be answered.I guess rikara story ends with those temple scenes in Bareily coz the closure which was given to Rikara patch up is almost proof that makers don't care about Rikara and it will be the same in future.Rikara story never had any consistency and now with abhay and Svetlana back I guess we should even forget about Rikara.

Svetlana has been a big problem with tej and Om's life so shouldn't the battle be dealt with Om and tej but again we all know answers,Om will be repeating dialogues of shivay and made a wall paper.

Well I have been an old viewer of IB and they did have conflicts supporting their beliefs but now it is weird and all this has to be blamed on cvs for their poor and lazy writing.All they manage is weekly tracks with all characters under same roof,uttering same dialogues😡😡conviently butchering characters to fit situations.I guess there is no point ranting now, about shivay taking center stage in every track which has been discussed a lot and cvs just don't care to listen so we should move on from this show.

I haven't watched ipk dear so can't compare arshi and rikara...but I have heard about this similarities from so many fans of rikara and arshi.

Rikara story can do wonders at this phase of ib...its sad that makers are so adamant to give rikara and their fans the much needed story and ss.

Barielly track was one of the beautiful track in ib...rikara took it to another extend with their natural acting without any OTT.

But the end was so abrupt they could have at least had one emotional talk at the end of that track...But it's done and dusted no point in cribbing and crying for the same thing again and again.

Hoping for another rikara centric track from this hopeless makers who's priority is not rikara.
