HOLA HOLA Everyone 😆😆 long time no c😆😆

I had run away from the world(read IF) last week without even daring 2enter forum cause I knew negativity ghosts are looming around which😆😆 is really isn't their fault but still

As this track apparently bidding us goodbye ... let me just give my 2 cents about it (Shivika wise)😃😃

1- Many People decided to ignore that the first thing that Shivaay was worried about when he woke up was breaking Annika's trust...it wasn't family reputation ya business rival ya conspiracy...it was just Annika❤️

I know the dance is terrible...but how could anyone not be proud of him for that?❤️

but we don't change...we tend to ignore details while being busy looking at the big fat ugly picture🥱🥱

2- I think that this track has finally shown a progression from Shivaay on the sharing basis...He didn't need an NDE ya being reminded of vows to actually tell Annika the problem👏👏

while many would argue that he only did it after being blackmailed by the girl and having no other way out...but let's remember he's SSO, he could've actually made the girl disappear or threatened her ect, yet he chose to go tell Annika

3- The fact that she didn't hear him today doesn't make a difference...That guy poured his heart out and confessed his mistake despite being the type to never talk except under pressure...

That whole "whatever happened, it happened while I was drugged, I would never do it intentionally" was full of guilt and fear of hurting her unknowingly

and Let's take a moment to appreciate that he wanted to try to tell her again after failing the first time...👏👏

Shivaay is a slow learner, but a firm one...He understood that the problem is SHARING & he learned to do it WITHOUT BACKING OUT...He didn't back out despite getting the golden chance of Annika not hearing him😆😆👏

4- many of us(inculding me) wanted Annika to yell at shivaay...to be human as there's no freakin way that anyone would trust anyone at the heat of the moment...we all had our scenarios of Shivaay being guilty for what he did,basically we wanted Shivaay mopping the floor and Annika not Mahan😆😆

but somehow we forgot many things

*What changed SSO into Shivaay wasn't just Annika's love it was her patience ...Shivaay never changed because Annika yelled at him..He always needed time..and he always needed to be dealt with patience...Remember NKK track?how many times fluttered back&forth till he on his own backed out?

**if this situation was reversed...As in Annika was caught in such a trap and had nothing to defend herself with ...

Would we be disappointed that Shivaay didn't yell @ her?ya will we call him a bas***d who doesn't deserve her if he yelled?

Would we call him Mahan if he trusted her in the heat of the moment?ya would we say that Annika has earned that trust&it was the normal thing to do?

Would we say that Hs has ruined Shivaay's character just cause of her love for Annika?Or will we say that look at how much Shivaay progressed in this

I am sure the 3 questions have the same answer NO😆😆...WHY?

We would say that Shivaay is in love and that is how a husband should act, that he should understand that it was not in her hand to do what she did...u c the double standard??🤔

While i would agree that the execution of this track was terrible(dance,stairing at the girl ect)🤢🤢...but what people conducted from it was much worse, from tweets, articles, and comments I've read through this past week

So how did people make this track sound?

"CVS are trying to justify that it's ok for men to cheat under influnce of druggs ya drunk"😲😲

so simple answers to this

1)if a drugged person is treated&punished like a normal person is...then there wouldn't be different punishments in law depending on situations

2)this isn't cheating...not just because nothing happened...but because cheating is something that happens knowingly,consiously&on demand

This would have been cheating if the boys drank/drug knowingly...Is there really no difference between their situation and that of men who party all night with a room full of girls, drinking god knows what and waking up not remembering what happened??

3)don't make everything about men for god's sake😡😡..if The situation was reversed..and Annika was drugged into such a dance...WILL ANYONE BLAME HER?woudn't WE ALL SYMPATHIZE WITH THE DRUGGED STATE??

Don't accuse the writer of a double standard when we have it ourselves...In such situations both genders would be innocnent..that's what equality mean na?to look at the situation not the gender??😕😕

p.s: Shivaay's worry, and today's dialogue were priceless...can we please not forget them in our anger??or is it too much to see the silver lining?

Edited: enas,u very well know what's my opinion on this track..But still would like to put it here.😊

I really didn't understand the purpose of this track n the eyesore visuals we r put through during this track.i ranted alot abt this as soon as I saw pics of segments (only pics as I don't watch segments😆). N i think even u ranted it out abt it. And we thought they r drunk n hence this dirty dancing comes up..We were so worried abt some of our fav characters esp OBros r being butchered (only we know ,how much we love Obros❤️)😆.but then when the news abt them being drugged came out, i stopped ranting as I don't have anything to say abt it.

Anyways, to be frank i enjoyed the track minus the dirty dancing,pia n dinky. During this track, i took one episode at a time so that I can enjoy the show😆 this is the only show i watch n it's really a stress buster to me. The track is hilarious n funny minus the said ones.

And the questions u asked,abt gender equality n the same situations for both men n women...I agree with u.

Edited: btw, whatever might be the track,however worst it might be for others, i got SSO emerging as hero once again. He himself decided to tell Annika the truth this time. I fell in love with SSO all over again❤️😆

And I agree with u, whatever the progression is shown in Shivaay's character till now is achieved only due to Annika's patience. Whenever she tells,fights,shows tadi he will return the same infact the double of it. But if she mellows down,n speaks, he will correct himself. SSO always does the things his own way not because he is pushed to do them.if he is pushed, he retreats back from it. But once he decides abt something from heart n mind,he would stick to it,dedicated to it.Thats the reason I love him.

double standards is something which has existed since long in IB and from fandom and from writer so let's not even go there, because there are many tracks to show same😆

using one track to justify the writer is right is funny at least for me😆

likewise arguments and counter arguments are something which makes debate, doesnt mean that one side is worse or not worthy or now being called double standards because some people disagree with your POV😊

gender and gender equality are very big words, same as people being drugged is a sensitive topic which was made a mockery by the CVs actually! but when fans justify and applaud such tracks what can other people do now😛

Brilliant post yar and thank you so much for this.

I completely agree with everyone about how this track was a major NO NO and showing that dance or that staring session was awful. But yes ignoring all that and seeing the character progression made by Shivaay today was truly wonderful 😳 He is no longer that person who doesnt give justification, hesitates to say sorry or share his problems and only cares about family's reputation. For him the most important thing now is Anika & her feelings ❤️

Noone is justifying the track here Ashika. The way they showed those scenes was bad and nothing can make it okay. What we are happy about is how they kept SSOs character intact and the progression he made :)

We may get some poignant scenes for Shivika , but the visuals of last week that could've been toned down or even avoided are hard to ignore. Question is whether this track was needed for Shivika at this juncture ?! The trust issue/ Shivaay not sharing information etc were dealt with in Tia/Daksh/Ragini/Tanya tracks, lessons learnt, regrets shown, relationship progressed etc for Shivika! So a similar track again is tedious and exhausting to watch.Because the outcome was predictable, Shivaay telling the truth and Anika showing full faith. As for Pia, what she had done is a criminal offence, drugging someone, Shivaay being a heart patient , he could've had a serious complication with the drug and what do the cvs finally do to this character , well make her paasssitive and give her a pat on the shoulder and give her a send off and say ja jeele apni zindagi !!! This track maybe best suited for Ruvya to progress their story ?
