Shot Two
(FINAL PART)
A fresh morning started, Annika walked down after taking a hot shower, she searched for Shivaay when she hear noise from kitchen. She walked there and saw Shivaay was cooking. Shivaay what are you doing?"
"Come..! Have a sit." He said walking up to her, he made her sit on the chair saying, "You sit here. I'll bring your breakfast."
Annika smiled while Shivaay made the dish, she adored him sitting there when suddenly she heard him moaning. Shivaay..!" She ran to him and saw blood was oozing from his finger, without wasting any time, she sucked his finger. "Who told you do all this?" A tear escaped from her eyes.
Shivaay was puzzled seeing her getting so emotional on such small thing. "It's okay Annika,it's just a small cut."
"It's not small for me." She said sucking the blood from his finger, "Jab aapko takleef hoti hai, mujhe bhi takleef hoti hai."
He looked at her smiling and recalled their first night when he hurt her revealing about Ragini. He wiped her tears and pulled her for a hug, for a moment, she was shocked but later she gave up under his proximity, they hugged tightly, when suddenly Shivaay's phone rang. He parted from her and saw the caller ID. Seeing Ragini's call, he gets worried. "I need to receive the call. Excuse me..!"Saying this he left, perplexed Annika behind.
Shivaay walked in the garden area and received the call. "Hello?"
"Shivaay.. What the hell is this? Why aren't you receiving my calls Shivaay?" She shouted.
"Ragini..I.." He paused, "I was busy."
"Busy? Where are you busy? Oh..! With that behenji?" She asked rolling her eyes.
"MIND YOUR LANGUAGE RAGINI.." He said with gritted teeth, for a moment, she was shocked seeing his changed behavior, she calm herself saying, "Oh Shivaay.. I was just.." Before she could explain herself Shivaay asked, "Why did you call me?"
"Shivaay, here in one media channel, they are showing your and behen.." But she paused and corrected herself, "I mean Annika's picture leaked and they used some headline like you and she having second honeymoon on your first anniversary."
"So?" Shivaay asked casually as totally forgot why he came here with Annika.
"Shivaay.. Did you go for honeymoon?" And that brought back his sense. "Ragini.. I.. I didn't mean that. You know why I came here."
"Yeah. I know baby and I love you." She said changing the topic when Shivaay looked on thinking she didn't care that her lover is with another lady and other side Annika, few days back Annika saw a photo of Shivaay with a model in some magazine, and she got possessive, she cried until Shivaay made her understand.
"What's wrong with me..!" Shivaay wondered once he hang up the call. "Why am I comparing Annika with Ragini? Why didn't I feel happy while talking with her? In fact.. I don't even missed her all these days." He wondered while remembering the moments which he spend with Annika, he remembered Annika confessing her love for him and that brought a smile on his face.
"What's happening with me..? Jiske bare mein mujhe sochna chahiye uske bare mein toh soch nahi raha aur jiske bare mein mein sochna nahi chahta wohi mere dil dimag se bahar ja nahi rahi." He said rubbing his forehead.
"This is called LOVE Shivaay." He heard, he turned and saw his reflection saying him.
"Love?"
"What else it can be? Have you ever seen yourself how much you get worried when you see her crying, or seeing her hurt. Have you ever noticed yourself now without hesitation you hug her, you are enjoying every bit of moments with her, you wanted to be with her every time. Yeh pyar nahi toh aur kya hai?"
"And Ragini?"
"She is your past Shivaay. Woh tere sath tab thi jab Annika ko tu kabhi samajhna hi nahi chahta tha. Aaj tera sab kuch Annika se suru hokar ussi pe khatam hota hai." His illusion told him.
"But I can't keep her in dark."
"Can you effort loosing her?"
"NO..!" Shivaay said taking few steps back when he felt her touch on his shoulder. "Shivaay what happened?"
He turned at her, "With whom you were talking? Kahin aisa toh nahi you have an extra marital affair?" SHe chuckled.
Shivaay looked at her shocked when seeing him so shocked, she laughed. "I was joking, relax..! I know you love me." She said cupping his face, he smiled and hugged her.
"Don't leave me Annika. I can't live without you. I love you."
Annika smiled brightly, she tightened her grip around him, "I am not going anywhere Shivaay. I love you too..!"
That night, Shivaay was working on his laptop when Khanna called him, "Yes Khanna say?"
"Sir, I got an information."
"Information..? About what?"
"Sir, that night someone attacked on bhabhiji. It wasn't any accident." Khanna said.
"What? How can you be so sure?"
"I asked inspector to investigate and even you asked me to get information about the man who called Annika that day."
"Yeah. Do you get to know anything?"
"One person is behind in this two crime." Khanna said.
"Who?"
"Ragini Malhotra."
Ragini was shocked, he knew, she doesn't like her but he never imagined she could fall in such extend that she would try to kill her. "Are you sure Khanna?"
"Yes."
Shivaay hang up the call and furiously going to call her when he saw her calling him, "How dare you Ragini?" He asked fuming.
"What happened?"
"Don't act innocent. I know it was you who behind Annika's accident and even you leaked our photos in media and even bribed that person to call her. Isn't?" He asked furious.
"Shivaay I.." She was going to give an explanation but he cut off her words asking, "Yes or no Ragini?"
"Shivaay I had done all this for us. For her, you weren't getting married with me so I thought to.." But before she could complete, Shivaay said, "To kill her? You know what I feel ashamed on myself that I loved you."
"Shivaay please try and understand.." She was trying to explain him but he wasn't in mod to listen to her. "Miss Ragini Malhotra, you and I are OVER.. Just get lost from my life." Saying this he hang up the call and throw the phone on the floor.
Shivaay recalled all his bad behaviour towards Annika and then he recalled the day when he went to meet her in hospital, and after that their happy moments. "I don't want to keep her in dark anymore. I will tell her everything." Saying this he walked to her room, "Annika?" He looked around the room but didn't find her. He looked outside and saw it was raining heavily. He closed the window and went to other rooms to check her but didn't find her anywhere, he walked out from the house when he saw her enjoying the rain in the garden. He relieved seeing her, he was going to get inside but paused and turned at her. He looked at her, he noticed she was wearing a kness length white western dress, he was mesmerized seeing her and stared at her.
"Shivaay come..!" He heard her calling him.
"No you come inside."
She shook her head and came to him and dragged him out. She was enjoying the rain while he kept staring at her. Feeling his gaze on her, she turned at him, "What?"
"Nothing."
Annika rolled her eyes and came close to him, she slowly held his hand and placed on her waist and another hand entangled with him, "Let's dance."
Shivaay couldn't control himself under her proximity, he pulled her closed and they swayed their bodis in a rhythm. Annika wrapped her both hands around his neck while he placed both his hand on her waist pulling her more close. They shared an intense eye lock when he slowly leaned on her lips, she tightened her grip on his shoulder while their lips sealed together, the kiss was soft and gentle. After parting from him, she looked down blushing while Shivaay lifted her in his arms and walked inside the house.
He placed her on the bed and came on her top, he kissed on her forehead then her eyes while he entangled his fingers with hers, she closed her eyes enjoying the moments, Shivaay looked down at her lips, he was going to kiss on her lips but this time something stopped her, he looked at her innocent face. "I am sorry." He whispered while getting up.
Annika held his hand, "Shivaay..!"
"You shouldn't wear this wet cloth longer else you'll catch cold. Go and get change."
"But Shivaay.." She had tear in her eyes.
He didn't look at her, "Annika go please." She didn't ask him anything further, she gets up and going to leave when Shivaay held her hand, she turned when he pecked on her forehead. "You should take rest." He slightly smiled at her and left.
Next moning, Shivaay walked in Annika's bedroom and saw her still sleeping, he placed the cup beside, and gently caressed her hair, she slowly opened her eyes.
"Good morning." He said placing a soft kiss on her hair.
"Good morning." She smiled back.
She gets up and Shivaay served her the tea. "Annika, I'm sorry for the last night."
Annika chuckled saying, "Why are you sorry? You are reacting in such way that it was for the first time we kissed. You remember we are married from last one year and it's obvious that we had done that before." She said looking down.
Shivaay looked at her hurt, he took her hand in him saying, "Annika there's lots of things you should know. This can change your mind to leave me."
She smiled while placing her finger on his lips, "If that thing led us to separation, then I don't want to listen it. Shivaay I don't want to loose you."
"It's important for you to know."
"If it would be important then why did I forget.?. It wasn't worth remembering thing that's why I never remembered and I want you to don't dig our past. We are happy together and that's important for him." Saying this she hugged him smiling.
"I love you."
"I love you too Shivaay."
That day in the evening, Sshivaay was sitting in the hall as he was planning to go back to Mumbai and starts afresh just when Annika came to him saying, "I want divorce from you Shivaay."
Shivaay was hell shocked hearing her, did she remember everything.. that thought came in his mind. "Annika what.."
"This is what you wanted on our wedding anniversary right?"
"Who told you all this?" He asked furious.
"Ragini."
Shivaay controlled his anger and walked to her, he held by her arms, "Don't try to fool me Shivaay. She told me everything, she is your lover."
"I can explain."
"No. I don't want any explanation. Now I get it, why you never came close to me..! Jab jab mein apke paas aana chaha aap mujhe apne se durr kia. Arey apne toh mujhe pyar se ek nazar kabhi dekha hi nahi aur meine kya kya soch liya." She cried.
"Annika, listen.. This morning, I came to you to say this but you didn't listen to me and yes I loved Ragini but it was past. Now I love you." He said cupping her face.
"You broke my trust Shivaay." She said removing his hand. "I can't trust you." She left to her room crying.
Next day Mumbai,
Shivaay dropped Annika in her house as she wanted to stay there and then he rushed to Ragini's house where he get her arrested on murder charge and then returned to his house, he explained everything to his family who advised him to win her back with his love and Shivaay left for Annika's house.
Seeing Shivaay with his luggage, Annika gets furious. "Dad.. I came here to stay with you all. I hope you don't mind." He said nervous as he thought they will lashed out on him but to his surprise they didn't. They welcome them happily.
At night, Shivaay walked in Annika's room when she asked, "Why did you come here?"
"To take you back with me."
"I am not going to with you anytime soon."
"Annika, I know I shouldn't hide anything but that day you only said you don't want me to dig our past. Then? What happened?"
"I didn't expect that our past would be like this." She said crying.
"Annika.." he cupped her face, "Jaan.. Believe me I love you."
"How can I trust you?"
Shivaay looked down feeling guilty. "Let it be Shivaay. Good night." Saying this she turned off the lights.
Next morning, he walked out dressed for office and saw his beautiful wife peacefully sleeping but he saw a frown on her head. "Neend mein bhi mujh par gussa dikha rahi hogi, meri pagal biwi." He chuckled and sat beside her and kissed on her forehead, immediately the frown vanished, he smiled and saw her opening her eyes, "Good morning."
But Annika didn't say anything and turned other side with her closed eyes, Shivaay was going to say something but he knew she wouldn't listen so he left the room. Few days passed, everyday Shivaay woke her up with the kiss and at night when she fall asleep, he kissed her before going to sleep, even all day he tried his best to win her trust, he tried to keep her happy but nothing affect her.
On a such day, Shivaay kissed on her forehead when Annika opened her eyes and saw the decorated room. "Good morning." He said giving a rose to her.
"Why are you doing all this Shivaay?" She asked throwing the rose beside her.
"Because I love you. I want to see you happy."
"Then don't do this, aap jitna yeh sab karoge mujhe utna hi takleef hogi, mujhe utna hi yaad ayegi woh sab kuch jo mein bhoolna chahti hoon." She said looking away.
"Annika, it's enough now. Now let's go back to home." He frowned while getting up frrom his position.
"Even I'm saying the same. It's enough. Aap kyu yeh sab kar rahe ho? Mujhe koi farq nahi padhta."
"Don't you love me?" He asked made her face him, she looked away. "I need answer."
"What if I had an affair and you got to know this? How will you react? Can you trust me further?" She asked back. Shivaay free her, he gets up. "I am sorry Annika, for forcing you. When you start trusting me, make a call to me, I'll come to pick you." He said and walked out from the room throwing the flower bokeh on the floor, Annika wanted to stop him that she knew she hurt him but she stopped but couldn't stop her anymore, she walked out from room when she saw Shivaay walked out without having her breakfast, she felt guilty and cried.
In the evening, Annika was getting restless as from morning, Shivaay didn't call her, she remembered his effort to win her back, she recalled all their moments in Manali when she saw Rudra calling, "Hello?"
"Bhabhi, please come soon to city hospital. Bhai met with accident." As Rudra said, Annika left the house crying.
She reached in hospital as soon as she could, "Rudra, whre's Shivaay? Is he okay?" That time doctor came out from the cabin, "Doctor how's my husband?"
"Don't worry Mrs Oberoi. He has some fracture on his hand, nothing serious."
"Can I meet him?" She asked crying.
"Yeah sure..!"
Annika walked in and saw Shivaay was sitting on the room, she ran to him and hugged him crying, "I am sorry Shivaay. I am sorry."
"Jaan.. sshh.." He caressed her back.
Annika parted from him and cupped his face, "I am sorry for my rude behavior. Now I won't leave you ever. I love you." She kissed all over his face and hugged him.
"It's okay jaan. See..! I am fine now." He said giving a kiss on her forehead, he wiped her tears saying, "If I would know one accident can bring you so close to me, phir mein chahunga aise accident mere sath baar baar ho."
Annika placed her palm on his mouth, "Don't say this ever. Aapko nahi pata woh news sunke mera kya haal ho gaya tha. I am sorry, now I won't be rude with you ever. I love you." She said kissing on his forehead.
"I love you too Annika." He said hugging her.
Fews day later, Annika returned to Oberoi mansion with Shivaay,they walked in their room which was decorated with their new momories. She admired all the pictures and hugged him. "You remember you complained that jab tum mere kareeb aate ho mein tumse durr jata hoon. Aaj mein tumhare kareeb aana chahta hoon, you won't back off no?" He whispered in her ear while sucking her earlobe.
"Shivaay.." She blushed while pushing him but he held her hand and lifted her in his arms and proceed towards the bed.
"Shivaay what if I remember my past and forget our present. What will you do?" She asked during their making out session.
"I'll win you back again with my love.." Shivaay said pecking on her lips.
"But.."
"Sshh..!" He placed his finger on her lips, "Don't distract me with your words, let me concentrate on my work." He said, sealed their lips and drowned in the pool of love and passion.
