Asya this whole Tanya blackmail track has only one purpose- keep shivika from sharing a room and thus delay the SR! No other purpose, that's why the writer conveniently using Tanya just to rub on annika's face and no other reason!

I just don't understand why Tanya was needed to be introduced as Shivaay's wife? She could have easily blackmailed SSO being in the house as a house guest ! If the purpose was to keep an eye on SSO 24 x 7 so that Shivika don't plan and plot together,then the purpose was defeated because SSO was allowed not to sleep in his room and Tanya could not keep an eye on what Shivika were doing at night ! So many inconsistencies in writing the track which had potential ! Hope the discontent of the viewers is noticed by the CVs and addressed !

This post = my sentiments exactly. I haven't been able to actually watch the show after the first 1-2 episodes since Tanya came in. I catch Shivika clips and updates and they just make me cringe. There's no justification for Tanya being in the house, Shivaay behaving like an inconsiderate ass, or Annika being this clingy, all forgiving comedian. I just can't watch it. I didn't like the karva chauth sequence, the bathroom sequence, or the pretending in the room.. the fights, the comedy.. none of it.. not with the Tanya issue hovering like a dark cloud and being left unresolved.

I adore the cast and I wish them nothing, but success for them. They all seem like nice grounded people.However, there is only so much the actors can do with scripts like this. They deserve better scripts and so do we. Just saying. Nothing makes sense so let's hope the comedy works out for them.

We had some ridiculous tracks in IB before and another level of ridiculous on DBO, but the villains/tracks had a point.Tia and Mrs. K wanted revenge so we got tracks of them trying to make the wedding happen. Svetlana wanted to hide her identity/ torture the them so we got masks, freezers, and Doctor Dang. It was ridiculous, but it made senses on some level.

The stuff their writing for all 3 brothers is just mind-numbing pointless. Reboots for everyone, new entries NO ONE wants or cares about, a raaz that was replaced last minute with the horribly written factory track, and more comedy. We got the new entry repeating Shivaay's dialogues, his scenes, and his characterization pasted on him. What is the point of this? Last time it was Ragini's brother sprouting poetry like Om. What purpose did that serve in the show? The guy disappeared and was replaced with VAT in the end. I wouldn't be shocked if the new guy in Rikara's story says Shivaay's dialogues, recites poetry like Om, or makes Rudra's jokes because the writers like to recycle characterizations of their original characters instead of focusing on the original characters. Obviously they need more writers, but that doesn't seem to be a priority. It's easier to copy and paste everything.

Since the post is about Shivika. Yes, the KC was cute because they are adorable, but that doesn't change the fact that the writing is horrible and nothing makes sense. I wasn't expecting them to address the 2 week disappearance when the writers didn't think it was important to address the 3 month separation 😆 We got the delayed reaction from Anika, the bad blackmailing from Tanya, and now the random raaz goose chase for comedy. Comedy was always IB's thing. This is what they do. I'm sure NM&SC will deliver because they always do despite the horrible writing. If this is to still SR then what an epic fail 😆

Seriously? Stopped watching the show for Shivika sometime back, now if ever do watch, do it mostly for Rikara scenes.

actually now shivaay seems to be a person we dnt know...even the shivaay Singh Oberoi with Nkk was better than this shivaay...SSO a charecter who we adored to the core and justified his each and every actions...we even loved him when he married Annika forcefully...we loved him even when he missunderstand Annika but now seriously I really don't know wat i am feeling... how much he progressed in love but with one scene he is forcing us to even think that is his love really true? I am feeling so much angry towards me for thinking like this... in the begginning in each single track whether it's forced marriage,seperation, tia pregnancy track, ML track every where we saw shivaay is getting hurt when Annika is in pain... he had felt every pain of her and reassured her even when the situation was out of control from his hands... where is that shivaay... I loved that shivaay... not this person after the marriage... he is not the same... this new shivaay doesn't feel Annika's pain... he is taking her insecurities and pain as jealousy... he is shoving her away than reassuring her... she is breaking from inside and he doesn't know it... remember the time Mrs kapoor blackmailed him to divorce Annika or he will reveal illegitimacy secret to Omkara... even though shivaay wants to protect Omkara he still doesn't abandoned Annika... he didn't even signed the divorce papers... at that time we trusted shivaay more than anyone and that trust was intact with us still the last moment which leads to seperation track... even though we are not at all happy in throwing Annika out of OM... still we are now okay with that...even that situation had a justification that Annika provoked him... but wat justification we can give to this..announcing Tanya as his wife and his behaviour now... seriously I can't see the shivaay i loved here... he is someone new who want to protect his family and for that he is ready to abandon his wife...I completely lost the trust in him... how can we trust him...is there any guarantee that he will not divorce her if matters comes to his family...

Rightly said. After tht forced seperation all these mindless comedy/tragedy whatever started. Still watched the show and waited to see the shivika of the past one year. We didn't get a talk regarding the 3 month seperation and now this. 15 days of absence and Shivaay is this cold to Anni! Like someone said earlier in their posts can't connect with this shivaay. He was much more relatable with all his NKK and prejudices. Now I am so angry with him and can't enjoy the lollipop shivika scenes. I am angry with annika too. Prior to biwi declaration she has asked SSO all the valid questions with calm and dignity. Now even when snubbed by shivaay she is happily playing around him!. Didn't watched the last two episodes. Hope to wean my addiction to shivika like this.

Yeah, this track isn't even canon for me. More deplorable track is right, because even a contrived separation still had a meaning behind it. Exactly.. as badly as it was executed we saw Shivvay pining for Annika and the realization that it bothers him to not have her in his life was brought to the fore.
We were given Annika's insecurities to a certain extent and they were addressed by the end of the track.
Pinky's Arc is still high up in the air ... lol less said about that the better 😆😆

Of course I cannot say the same about the Ragini, (close to non existent) Samar and (the last minute inclusion) Vikram which basically amounted up to nothing. The plot itself was thrashed as is always the case with anything that might have even the remote possibility that the writer has to think and pressure her creativity. 😉😉

So we were given the other angle to both the leads because that is the best the writer can come up with and keep the ShivIka fans busy cursing whichever new girl is currently in his life.

Tanya does not bother me as much as Tanya announced as his wife bothers me if you get my drift. So hating bashing and cursing Tanya is just to make the ShivIka fans react to their base instincts and frankly that is very boring for someone like me.

If the writer was trying to show some dynamic that was not address, then I think we could have accepted. But the thing is, this does not make sense, especially when the Sr Oberois have done nothing. ... which is what they say and frankly except for Jhanvi I don't really trust the other 3 especially Pinky ...lol
But even if they were responsible and he was being blackmailed then this charade of her being made the wife to keep a watch on his 24/7 is not even being justified by the writer from what I see
This Annika is his strength and they both together will beat all odds is a little too much for me to digest. If Abhay has the video then he could have blackmailed Shivvay just like Mrs. K was doing. And from what I see Shivvay has not even asked his security to keep an eye on Tanya which itself is laughable. It seems he is very happy with the current arrangement and does not want to find out who is working with Tanya ...
So again I am failing to understand what the writer really was thinking when she made the 'Tanya meri biwi hai' track

I think if Oberoi Empire was truly built on the bones of the innocent that died in a fire, it would have atleast had an exhilarating feeling. The Nafratbaaz track had better and more consistent blackmailing. It wasn't the best, but it was effective and real too. ... and if they did then frankly they should all be charged and should have to serve the sentence.

For one, Shivaay showed Annika the video on an electronic device. So where did tapes come from? And if Abhay can't get anything out of the tapes, what is he using the blackmail them? He's clearly looking for proof. So who told or tipped Abhay off? Valid logical questions that no one really cares to get answers to ... they are romancing and performing cute antics and that is enough for our fandom as far as we can see

I wish they came up with a better track of they wanted to stall ShivIka's progression. I would have even swallowed it if it was poignantly written and didn't actually butcher. How true and this culd have been achieved without the Tanya meri biwi hai crap

Since this seems to be what is being said all the time I think I will put in my two cents about it... All those who think that most of us are upset about an SR stalled listen up ...

if on my wedding night I was shown what Shivvay was shown and was blackmailed by an unknown person about it, my wife and I would have SR as the last thing on our minds ...lol
With the threat of my whole Family being destroyed, my Family name and business in the danger of being wiped out clean from the market and the value it has ... my elders being blamed for a fire that took hundreds of lives and a faceless blackmailer out there threatening to drive all that I have into the ground, the last thing I would be thinking is romance and a SR
Just to give you a mature persons take on it
When there is a serious occurrence (death, accident etc) in a Family where there are newly weds the last thing the newly weds have on their mind is getting it one with each other - trust me
Please remember what happened to ASR and Khushi after their wedding ... SR was the last thing on their mind even after Shyam's camera's were removed ... all the two thought about was solving the problem and trust me I enjoyed each and every scene in those episodes. The sudden and unexpected romance, the on the spot comedy (giving ASR the medication) and even the whole Arnav planning a surprise for Khushi in their bedroom

And yes !!! their bedroom was exclusively theirs .. here Shivvay has every girl that walks into OM - save the ones who call him bhaiya- living in is room as house guests especially after his marriage

I rest my case about all those thinking this is about the SR😆

When will this track end so I can forget it? lol no idea
