To blackmail OR not to Blackmail, that is the qt...

I apologize in advance for any sloppy writing, spelling mistakes or other such thing that people love making a big deal about ... this was written as the thoughts flowed.

So here's what I understood and maybe I am wrong so bear with me all you lovely folks who patiently put up with my many rants

The bone of contention that I have, don't know about others,( notice it is not in the past tense because it still bothers me and hence my fellow ShivIka lovers, who assume that I have been bashing ShivIka, it is impossible for me to enjoy all these so called comedy and romantic tracks that are being spun), is that Tanya is still roaming around as his wife and Shivvay is still maintaining that he is being blackmailed.

Yet there have been at least a handful of occasions, counting the night that he was supposed to share his bedroom with her till the flight he took today, when Shivvay himself has broken the conditions she has placed on him without the fear of the blackmail threat being made real.

Still he maintains that Annika has to keep up the charade of his ML, ask permission before she comes into the bed room etc etc because Tanya might leak the video to the media.

Am I supposed to just stir all this 'mixture' of not even tasteless but distasteful elements and swallow it because ShivIka give us a glimpse of their old self once in a while and are made to do cute antics to amuse and keep us hooked?

I have much ... much more to say but let it suffice for now that watching ShivIka is now more of pain than a pleasure because try as much as I may it all rings so false. Both have no sense of feeling anything is wrong with this whole Three is company Two' that they are acting out

**I am a committed man but I can say in jest Mere Paas Tanya Hai' and it is completely acceptable to him as well as his wife

** Don't follow me as I cannot put your life in danger but I can humiliated you by announcing another as my wife to the media which has flashed as breaking news'

** I care about our bond and what is between us because it is our little secret but we can use Tanya to play this childish game where we try to break each other's fast for Karva Chauth' so that she manages to humiliate you further before my mother who is smiling gleefully

Please feel free to add as I am sure I have missed many and frankly am to disgusted to even think hard enough to look for them.

Again this is not the character that I am complaining about because this is NOT Shivvay. At least not the Shivvay I know and understand.

The writer has failed to justify this deplorable Tanya track for ShivIka till date and Shivvay has once again given Tanya the slip without a moment's hesitation as to what Tanya would do. He even took the time to pack a bag and eat his breakfast ...lol

This is not disappearing for a few hours mind you this is taking a flight to wherever for whatever number of days and he is not the least bit worried she will leak the video

But the writer shows that he is very worried she might do that if Annika comes to their bedroom, talks to him or in anyway tries to ascertain her right as a wife over him.

Is it just me or is anyone else no buying this whole business the writer threw in our face justifying that it was needed??!!

Wah!!! This Tanya has to be his wife because she is meant to keep a close eye on him but he takes off to Goa like it was a pre-planned vacation put together by the Oberoi Travel Agent ..lol

My one and only question is whoever is writing this, are they in their true senses or are they writing this in their unconscious state. Do they seriously think the audience is this dumb? Maybe we are, why else do we continue to watch. I seriously feel sorry for myself 😆

Me too Pearl. I'm feeling averse to the forced comedy too. Quality of villains have reduced greatly from Ragini and Tanya. If one has to bear with the hurtful position Annika has been pushed into time and again, the very least one can expect is for it to have a POINT. A learning progression, a character improvement , a lesson learnt. Be it Annika picking herself up from being Shivaay's loyal side kick, or Shivaay to start treating her like a valuable human, his wife ( not a pretty thing to play romance with only).

Yeah, this track isn't even canon for me. More deplorable track is right, because even a contrived separation still had a meaning behind it.

If the writer was trying to show some dynamic that was not address, then I think we could have accepted. But the thing is, this does not make sense, especially when the Sr Oberois have done nothing.

I think if Oberoi Empire was truly built on the bones of the innocent that died in a fire, it would have atleast had an exhilarating feeling. The Nafratbaaz track had better and more consistent blackmailing. It wasn't the best, but it was effective and real too.

For one, Shivaay showed Annika the video on an electronic device. So where did tapes come from? And if Abhay can't get anything out of the tapes, what is he using the blackmail them? He's clearly looking for proof. So who told or tipped Abhay off?

I wish they came up with a better track of they wanted to stall ShivIka's progression. I would have even swallowed it if it was poignantly written and didn't actually butcher.

When will this track end so I can forget it?

Haaa... I am glad that you still could muster up the energy to make this post . I am so tired this constant battle with let go Shivika are gone to why would they go this way has left me let's just say hanging by a very thin thread of sanity ( some times I feel I will loose it completely).

People might kill me but I found their first KC before wedding more relatable n romantic than this ... all I can say is though married they do not feel married that spark they had is missing . Where you used to feel they are here now Ahaaa it's like god they r here let's get it over n done with .

Why is it so tough to add a meaningful convo into their script ...when Anika came out n said am not comfortable with Tanya around all she got was she is not important let's not discuss her n you are jealous ... 😕 seriously that is how you assure your wife who is supportive of all the nonsense you have been throwing at her in the name of family . That turned to trash comedy in no time reducing the angst into nothingness.

Not only Shivay even Abhay or even Tanya do not have problem with sharing a room pretending to be some else's spouse ...and hands on too .( if mine did that I would gut him no time )

1 year n hundreds of episodes all she can come up with separating the couples for no reason n bring in third angles to make it look like this needs to be done now god knows for what with no sense romance n comedy intertwined.

Yes I agree this is not the Shivay who had a sense of right from wrong though head strong . If she could not come up with anything new why destroy the foundation she already made .

If this is what is called as creative n innovative writing ... of the women for the women by the women ... then those particular women need a new abode to reside . I have a lot more to say but they are choice words which I cannot use here 🤬 .

They have made a mockery of everything relationships, marriage , the fine ties that bind us all together ... n they have no regret or remorse for doing this .

So I will just say this people who create their own drama deserve their own karma n their time is coming .

Mrs. K, Svet and Tia were the actual Vamps and they being there made sense. This whole Tanya thing is just to have another girl taking Annika place and the writer fulfilling her darkest wishes

This I cannot see you in danger and want you away from this whole business is all fine but what about him trying to even put himself in her shoes attempting to understand how difficult her position must be with him announcing Tanya as wife and all that comes with it??

And her supporting him through all this is all fine to but how about you first sort out what the heck is your position with him here - is it dispensable or indispensable. Tomorrow you both have kids and someone tells him to disown you and the kids because his Family is being blackmailed - what happens then!??

Don't know about writer saheba but I sure as hell am confused as to what Shivvay will do because uska kya barosa - he will disown then and ask her to understand because his hands are tied. Is the character dependable and his actions predictable now at this stage after the Tanya incident??

This was Shivvay for whom his commitment and his 'word given' was written in stone. Being engaged to Tia, even when falling for Annika, did not make him waver from what he had promised her. He always maintained the propriety and decorum with his relationship with Annika so that Tia would not feel humiliated.
What has changed now pray tell?? The character or the whim of the writer?
She has butchered the one important thing I always admired about Shivvay - sticking to his word and commitment no matter what happens - where are his marriage vows??
Was it really best before 15 days??

Well said! I am watching old episodes now and Shivaay has hurt Annika so much, without any shred of proof whatsoever, right from day 1.
