Part 6
For the first time in his life, he felt that he deserved what happened to him. The way he had treated gauri was shameful for him and now that she was gone, he wanted her back. He was desperate enough to beg for her forgiveness but he knew that he deserved this loneliness for the rest of his life. He was lucky to have her but he lost her. Omkara let out a humourless laugh as he still sat kneeling on the ground where gauri left him 10 minutes ago. He had found something precious, he should have taken care of her and kept her happy but he hurt her and insulted her so she left him.
Omkara got up and left home, he had nothing left to feel except despair. He didn't know for how long he kept walking but he had left his car at the bus station and his mobile was constantly ringing but he didn't pay any heed to it. he was just thinking about the times he spent with chulbul then gauri, his heart bleeded for every memory in which he had hurt her.
A car stopped by him as he continued to walk through the night. "om! someone shouted, he knew who it was but he didn't stop moving. The man came and stood infront of him, halting his steps and breaking his trance.
"om? Kya hua? Gauri kahan hai? aur tu yeh kya kar raha hai? shivaay asked. Yes it was his brother, always the saviour. Omkara used to think that he was the smart one when it came to love but om found that he was an utter idiot. "who chali gayi shivaay that's all om said as he broke down and fell to his knees. Shivaay bent down and hugged his brother "mai use vapis le aunga om tu ...
"nahi shivaay om interrupts him. "bahot der ho chuki hai, mujhe ghar le chal shivaay seeing his brother so heart broken, shivaay took him home and fed him food, though he didn't eat much and he didn't speak much and he didn't do anything.
After much insistence, omkara went to sleep, though sleep had evaded him but he still tried because now dreams will only be the place he will get to see her.
Shivaay had stayed by his side until om fell asleep. "shivaay shivaay looked at the door to see Annika calling him. Shivaay got up from beside om and went outside closing the door. "kya hua Annika?
"aap khud hi dekh lijiye Annika said and left for the hall, shivaay followed her and was surprised. "gauri?
Next day
Omkara was sleeping peacefully as he was dreaming about gauri when he heard gauri's voice. He felt as if she was there with him and as usual was doing pooja. he could hear her singing aarti and he could hear the bells. For the first time he wasn't annoyed by the noise it created. Half awake omkara sat up and opened his eyes hoping to find her but reality slapped on his face when he saw his room was empty, there was no gauri and there were no bells. He laid back on his bed and sighed that is when rudra enters his room with a bang "o utho
"nahi rudra, mujhe sona hai omkara turned and pretended to sleep so that his brother would leave him alone. After a moment of silence om heard rudy start one of his dramas again "meri toh koi sunta hi nahi hai, batao kaise din aa gaye hain, mera khudh ka bhai meri baat nahi sunn raha hai, mummy!!
Annoyed of rudra om sat up and told him to leave promising him that he'll be down in 10 minutes.
After rudra leaves, om gets up reluctantly and goes for a shower. After getting out he opened his almirah and found gauri's bangles, the ones the always wears. "may be she left them putting them back he leaves his room.

After having breakfast with everyone- who were behaving very weird in his presence- om was walking through the corridor when he heard the unmistakable voice. "ek jhaanp mei deewar pe sat jaibe
Eyes widened om went in the direction of the voice but he didn't see gauri anywhere, he was starting to believe that he was going crazy, he was hearing her everywhere but she wasn't there. Stressed, om went to sit by the pool.
He felt a hand on his shoulders and turned to find shivaay. "om chal mere saath
"shivaay please, mujhe kahin nahi jaana om said as he felt very tired. "you'll love it, trust me omkara sighs and gets up "fine chal and he starts to walk when shivaay stops him, "arre aise nahi om turns to look at shivaay in confusion.
Shivaay shows him a blindfold "yeh kya bachpana hai shivaay?
"bachpana nahi hai, just trust me. Om accepts his defeat and closes his eyes as shivaay blindfolds him.
Shivaay guides omkara to the hall and then stops in the centre. "shivaay? om calls but no one answers. Annoyed om removes the blindfold and he is about to scold shivaay when suddenly no words leave him. This time he could see her standing in front of him, he didn't even blink for he thought she would disappear the moment he blinked.
"gauri? he whispered
Gauri just nodded and smiled as tears were already running down her face. She looked like an angel and he moved and engulfed her in his arms. Gauri was shocked at his movement but she hugged him back. Everyone stood surrounding them started laughing at them.
Embarrassed by hugging him infront of their family and elders, gauri pushed him but he didn't leave her.
"Omkara ji, chodiye humein she insisted.
"kabhi nahi omkara replied
A few minutes later he broke the hug and looked at her "tum? Yahan? Kab?
"hum nahi ja paye aapko chodh kar, raat ko aa gaye the yahan gauri said as she touched his cheek.
Hearing this om looked at shivaay, "toh mujhe kisi ne bataya kyun nahi?
"actually o ye mera idea tha, main chota hun na toh aap log sirf mujhe hi pareshaan karte ho toh maine hi chulbul bhabhi se kaha ki bhabhi test karke dekh lo varna khamakha phas jaoge mere jatadhari bhai ke saath rudra explained and started to take off when he saw om was coming to hit him.
"aise bekaar ideas sirf tere paas hi aate hai as he takes a step towards rudy, gauri holds his wrist to stop him.
Shivaay comes to them "ab gauri teri responsibility hai om agar tune fir se use hurt kiya na toh mujhse bura koi nhi hoga he warns as he puts his arm around gauri.
"I've learned my lesson shivaay, mujhe pata hai ki meri life mein gauri ki kya importance hai, main use kabhi hurt nhi karunga. I promise om promises all the while looking at gauri. Seeing them lost shivaay pushes gauri lightly at om who catches her in his arms. At the end everyone is happy, there will be many problems ahead of them but this time om and gauri won't be opposite each other but together, always.

this was one awesome journey of jealous omkara rocks 😆 it turned into a short story from a one shot
