The episode had events that was too much to process while I watched, and too much to remember as I write.
So true, after watching it over and over again you discover so many layers and intricacies of this beauty of an episode
I liked NM's voice modulation when he chokes to even say he was passed off as son of a mistress by his own mother, daadi ke seekh ko bhi galat saabit kar diya, geeli mittai tha mei.
Another would be SC's yeh kya bol rahe hain aap' to his aankh nahi mila paa raha hoon.
Nitika Ji's that bit where Pinky goes back to him with " Ruko, mei batatai hoon... mei...finding words to explain, fumbling at it when it dawns on her that he seems to be resenting her for her actions, yet with no remorse when OmRu or Shakti pointed out her insensitivity towards one's own son.Son of a mistress and geeli mitti are my personal favourites of his voice modulation...Geeli mitti in particular..NM brought out a child like earnestness and purity in his voice. For some reason, I was instantly transported to the bhaang episode...where he said "tum jaanti thi na meri khushi tumhare saat hai" ...even that scene had a very soul stirring sincere plea combined with a feeling of disappointmentThe 3rd best line for me was his conclusion "She is not my mother" before he storms out of the house...His eyes were emitting fire thereNA's Ruko, mei batatai hoon... mei...was hands down the best for me too...Another one has to be a slight movement of her head and an hmmm sound that she made when Om declared her of being ruthless and self centred...Both were so subtle and a contrast to the usual blaring and vociferous Pinky and the perfection was in its timing...The gazebo reunion moment:
When you watch such a scene, it's one of those moments where anyone (in-love, out of love, complicated in love, all of them) will wish and yearn to have such a soulful relationship. The silence spoke volumes, especially the moment when Shivay holds her hand, kisses them as tears brim his eyes...the caress and touch to ensure and believe that this is real, we are together where we rightfully belong...that overwhelming moment where you realize the depth of your partner's love for you and makes you doubt if such love is even possible. Everything seemed nice in spite of the clichs of fairylights, moon in the background and moonlight essence.
The soulful embrace, the sense of belonging and peace in each other's arms and the silence was literally screaming "mehsoos kar le tu, jasbaat ki khushboo, khud se karoun kya mei bayaan.
In bold...Very well processed and expressed 👏👏
Wind Up Questions:
Sab kuch PSO ke karnaame the. She proudly owned them too. But Nayantara planting and Prinku ke bhagne ka help karna, yeh loop bhi close kar dete...I was hoping for that too...but I guess the writers forgot about it...or thought it was out of context as the focus was closure of illegtimacy truth
Mahi ka loop closed. Bechara Mahi, ainveyi was sitting and bajaoing his mouth organ for a fake mom, fake brother. Teekh hai...Mahi ko ab Stupid Singh Oberoi bhi naki bol sakte... 😆😆
Bhai, lekin DaiMa ne jhoot kyun bola???!!!!!Daima may have been threatened by Mrs. Kapoor...

Another would be SC's yeh kya bol rahe hain aap' to his aankh nahi mila paa raha hoon. On a rewatch, I loved those bits from NM too...actually it's more noticeable on a second or third watch how Shivaay was falling apart too...the way he tilted his head to one side after the "door hatiye...nahin aap yahin rahiye...aapne hi mujhe banaya hai na" bit...like he was literally going mad and not knowing how to react...the back and forth...wanting to thrust her away and then the sarcastic hurt would come out too.As for SC, she was just heartbreakingly natural in those bits...the way her voice caught as she said aap kya bol rahe hain...the way her hands would reach out for him, fluttering over his face, his chest...I love the sync b/w NM-SC in such scenes...it's so on point.

Yes, I loved that switch to desperation when she realized that Shivaay isn't exactly lauding her for her actions but is disgusted with her...the desperation to then try and pin it on the others lying to him...pleading with him to understand his mother since he is the only one who understands her...I couldn't help but pity Pinky there no matter how deranged she is.
Like Anu mentioned, I too felt that there was this moment where Shivay totally shut himself out from Pinky at the end of declaring to everyone that she can't be his mother, his eyes no more reflecting any emotion at that point as if he unknowingly or purposely blanked out any sort of sentiment associated with "Maa Yes, I feel that was a defining moment...where after all the back and forth, the attempts to grapple with the magnitude of what his mother did, he was just done...the shutters went down and he locked her out, literally and figuratively...and that was quintessential Shivaay...he can love with all his heart but he is just as capable of going ice cold emotionless and ruthless...Pinky hadn't gotten to see this side of his to this extent before but she managed to push him to that point this time.

Re: Shivaay announcing the wedding...so I don't think he was doing it cuz that's his dream wedding...he was doing it cuz he wants to proudly declare to the world that Anika is his...since a lot of their conflict at one point has hinged on him supposedly being ashamed of her lack of NKK...he's throwing all those shackles off yet again...give Anika that respect and regard in front of the entire world...cuz he married her secretly in front of the world before...now he wants to own it and do it khushi se...that's the regard he's talking about.[/DIV]
Yeah, I know. I was just being fussy over there.😆😳 I wanted a private wedding for them in which they ride on Champa and get married in the temple where they first met.😆 But I don't mind this either if they give us a happy wedding where Annika is finally happy and shivika are enjoying their wedding.😛I don't think Shivaay is fully shedding his SSO beliefs...he's just evolving into a person having the courage to listen to his heart, to fully wallow in the emotions Anika brings out in him...to savor all that love rather than squander it...his tadi and SSO-giri will always be a part of him.
I hope so! So far writers haven't disappointed me when it came to SSO. I hope it doesn't change after the confession.😆 Otherwise, heroes usually lose their essence once they turn hormonal.😆Re: Anika's journey...I would like to see it be more about her opening up to Shivaay than specifically living up to the tag of being Mrs. SSO...since they make a point of saying she is sirf Anika, I hope she is allowed that identity even now.
When I say accepting Shivaay's name, I don't mean Annika's 'sirf Annika' should be forgotten. If Shivaay had prejudices, Annika had them too. I just want those to be dealt with too.
And I meant it as a whole.😆 Annika's journey which includes Annika opening up to Shivaay and much more character growth in Annika. Like how Shivaay's journey ended with him completely shedding his NKK prejudices, Annika's journey's end would be her not minding ASSO anymore.😆
