When I say accepting Shivaay's name, I don't mean Annika's 'sirf Annika' should be forgotten. If Shivaay had prejudices, Annika had them too. I just want those to be dealt with too.

And I meant it as a whole.😆 Annika's journey which includes Annika opening up to Shivaay and much more character growth in Annika. Like how Shivaay's journey ended with him completely shedding his NKK prejudices, Annika's journey's end would be her not minding ASSO anymore.😆

Ah ok, I see what you mean...that's a valid point...Anika too has her own sets of prejudices, a bit of a reverse snobbery about Shivaay's world of wealth and power...I think you're getting at the point that the same way her lack of NKK made no difference to Shivaay ultimately, that it doesn't color his perception of her now, in the same way, her taking on his name won't change who she is...right?

While I understand that, I think these things become very subtextual sometimes...Anika is already very devoted to Shivaay and his family...her whole world revolves around them...and she does this without taking on any official Oberoi tag...she is devoted to them yet still has her own strong identity...and I think holding on to that lack of last name is symbolic for her...a reminder of all that she struggled to achieve in her life on her own dum...her struggle has been far greater than Shivaay's...which is why it is important for her to have that to hold on to...I don't mind seeing a softening of it though...there's potential for an interesting conversation b/w them regarding this 😊

I actually don't want her to work in SSO's office.. I want her to have a life independent of SSO.. Otherwise, her life will only revolve around SSO like it does right now... I'm not saying that is a bad thing.. but she needs to explore the world on her own, as an individual but obviously with Shivaay's Saath.. Don't know if I made any sense! 😆

No,you are making sense😆,i understand what u mean here I personally don't like people entirely dependent on others financially or didn't do any work, everyone should try to earn for their own😆 & obviously there are workers in OM to look after the house,if she became mother I can understand she can take care of their children if she wants as housewife😆
