Today was one of those epis that kinda leave you speechless...not in the very least cuz we had such a RANGE of things happening...40 min really is too much to process in one day...lol...especially when it's filled with such fantastic scenes...evoking such diametrically opposite reactions...if on one end we have Karma finally bringing some payback for Pinky in the form of being disowned by her own son, on the other hand, we have the most picture perfect reunion for Shivika that we could have imagined...that the makers want us to process both emotions in the same day...lol it's a bit of a struggle, man...but I shall try to gather my thoughts...

Part 1: Pinky's epic meltdown and a broken Shivaay

What a brilliant scene...we continue from where we'd left off yesterday...a Pinky CROWING about the horrible lie she told...justifying it because it was all done to get rid of Anika...Shivaay is left numbed initially...while an Anika is left with a shocked, "Aapne jhoot bola tha?"...Shivaay watches as Pinky lists out everything she did with a pompous kind of bitterness, never forgetting to rail against Anika till the very last second...I'm not even going to get into the loopholes...but I did burst out laughing when Pinky said that she was even responsible for Mahi being brought into the house and for Shivaay being kidnapped😆...that she was smugly declaring all this as some masterplan of hers...lol I suppose I should give it to her for some epic level of planning...haha but she still didn't seem to get how she was digging her grave...or maybe she did...cuz of the way she turned to Shivaay with desperate and deranged earnestness and asked him how he can say that this girl did so much for him when SHE, his own mother was willing to lower herself to such an extent for him...that this is the way Pinky has justified it to herself in her twisted mind...I do pity her on some level

I love that first quiet moment right after she reveals this was all a lie...Shivaay just stares at her for a moment...and she's staring back at him quietly...

She then looses it when Anika says this was all a lie? The change in expression there...the depth of Pinky's hatred for Anika is staggering

She pleads with him over and over again to understand that his MAA did so much for him...but finally he's had enough..."Maa? Maa shabd ko gaali banaa diya aapne"

The way he said "Door rahiye"...backing into his brothers, almost losing his balance before they sambhaalo him

The sheer anguish in Shivaay today as he brings full circle her argument about how SHE'S made him...that indeed she HAS made him into the egotistical NKK obsessed person that he is...he was geeli mitti as a child that she moulded into this image and NKK obsessed individual...to such a degree that he is unable to help himself now...if not for his brothers who humanize him

Pinky doesn't want to hear any of this...and the sheer VENOM in her eyes as she looks at OmRu...wow...these split second transitions were only a few among the MANY brilliant moments from Nitika Anand today👏👏

One of the most epic moments of the scene...Dadi's TIGHT SLAP to Pinky😆...wahaan bhi akkad didn't lessen one bit for Pinky even as Daadi expressed her disgust at how Pinky never even had faith in her own son

Today we saw a Shivaay humbled by his own family...in both good and bad ways...at one end was the feeling of being cut off at the knees by what Pinky had done and on the other end was the awe at his brothers, his family, his Anika for having gone this distance to protect him...the one who's always been The Great Wall for his family was in fact protected by them to this extent...what a humbling moment for Shivaay

And his apology to Anika was just unbelievably poignant...not being able to meet her eyes, an Anika shaking her head telling him he has nothing to apologize for...super aww@ his "Don't be so nice, Anika...I don't deserve it"...aww Billu

Pinky still hasn't given up, still tries to plead to him to understand...and yet again rails against Anika...but this time Shivaay had had enough...told "Mrs. Pinky Singh Oberoi" to back off and enjoy the OBEROI title she enjoys so much...

The way he said, "Kaunsi Maa?"

And then came in my opinion, NM's best piece of acting today...as Shivaay went from person to person saying, "Yeh meri Maa nahin hai..."...

The final "She's not my mother" and the way his eyes went dead...like something shut down inside him in that moment...superbly done by NM👏

And so came about the fall of the "mighty" Pinky Singh Oberoi...an epic moment and scene overall...Special mention for Nitika Anand who was just SUPERBBB today👏👏

Re: Shivaay announcing the wedding...so I don't think he was doing it cuz that's his dream wedding...he was doing it cuz he wants to proudly declare to the world that Anika is his...since a lot of their conflict at one point has hinged on him supposedly being ashamed of her lack of NKK...he's throwing all those shackles off yet again...give Anika that respect and regard in front of the entire world...cuz he married her secretly in front of the world before...now he wants to own it and do it khushi se...that's the regard he's talking about.

I don't think Shivaay is fully shedding his SSO beliefs...he's just evolving into a person having the courage to listen to his heart, to fully wallow in the emotions Anika brings out in him...to savor all that love rather than squander it...his tadi and SSO-giri will always be a part of him.

Re: Anika's journey...I would like to see it be more about her opening up to Shivaay than specifically living up to the tag of being Mrs. SSO...since they make a point of saying she is sirf Anika, I hope she is allowed that identity even now.

Ok, just realized that in yesterday's epi they showed Rags clearly talking about an attack on Anika..."Anika khatam" is the phrase she used I think...so how did it switch to a lame news conference today? LOL did they change storylines last minute?

Also I genuinely feel bad for poor Tej missing out on this EPIC OMM of Pinky...he'd have enjoyed it just as much as the rest of us...if not more :P ROFL

I actually don't want her to work in SSO's office.. I want her to have a life independent of SSO.. Otherwise, her life will only revolve around SSO like it does right now... I'm not saying that is a bad thing.. but she needs to explore the world on her own, as an individual but obviously with Shivaay's Saath.. Don't know if I made any sense! 😆
