Yesterday , we were very clear where Annika stood about this farce of a wedding. She isn't getting married at all; she's clear and she made Vikram clear. Rudra and Gauri made it clear where they stand too; they weren't going to let this happen.
I mean, Rudra even half doubted his Chulbul Bhabhi at one point and took matters into his own hands. He's not going to risk losing his Annika Bhabhi at any cost.
And today, it was Shivaay's turn to make it crystal clear to Ragini. You are nothing more than a friend to me. I thought you were a good friend, but i don't think so anymore after that stunt you pulled with that press conference.
He wasn't even mincing words. "At what basis did you call for a PC ? You are not even family.
Ouch..
It became clear yesterday, that this is private battle between Shivaay and Annika, and NO ONE is welcome in the middle. Annika removed Vikram but SHivaay dragged him back (+Ragini), And Shivaay just literally pushed Ragini to the side and slammed the door in her face. He couldn't have been more cut and dry. Thick skinned woman continued to invade.
"Worse still is you misbehaved with Annika. You referred to her as my EX-WIFE. You insulted her in public. I won't bear it if you insult MY FAMILY. You're lucky I'm even speaking to you right now.
"What are you more upset about? That I called you my fiance, or that I called Annika your EX-wife? Are you not able to handle it that she's moved on from you? "
"Whatever is going on between us, is strictly between us. You just need to know that there is nothing between you and me, and it will never be. Don't include yourself in between me and her. So MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

Shivaay continues to wait for the moment she caves, to jump in and stop the entire sham. His target is only Annika, he wants the truth she hides, determined to force it out of her. Her marrying another man is not in question at all. He can't even bear the sight of Vikram putting his arm around Annika.
Fight me all you want Annika. I'll give you a good fight. But I'll be damned if this man touches you.
He gave himself away a little there. He isn't as heartless and stone cold as he tried to portray. Here is another kink she may use to force him to forfeit. (God , this is getting tiring. Can Dadi just smack these two idiots into sense?)
What Ragini and Pinky don't get it, these two are very much still together, and in love. They are not arguing about moving on at all, they are arguing about the secret that separated them. Eyes locked upon each other only.
I like the way he is going all out for his right to the truth, but still being that caring husbandly person who watches her honour, catches her in the dark, sees her misery and rectifies it.
"Can I have your hand, please ?"
It's not awkward at all that the almost bride is looking into her ex husband's eye 90% of the time throughout the engagement right? And the remainder 10% she looks at the floor. If I were Vikram, I'd be highly insulted. But then, I wouldn't be a turncoat trying to do Ragini a favour would I?
She turns to him, pleads softly. "Shivaay..." Please stop this, don't push me into this. Fear is written all over her face, she doesn't look tadibaaz at all.
In fact I think she's stuck between Gauri's plan and Shivaay's stubbornness for truth. I think if it were up to her, she wouldn't have shown up to the ceremony at all.
"Do you have anything to say, Annika?" he whispers back. Stubborn.
And the ring comes into focus.
"Bhojai? You're still wearing the ring Shivaay Bhaiyya put on? You have to take it off ! You must let go of old bonds to form new ones.."
Did Shivaay not realize she was still wearing his ring the whole time? Or he assumed the ring was the new engagement ring. Yeah, men can be quite blur when it comes to recognizing jewelry.
Yeah, that ring they happily and lovingly put on each others' fingers that day. The happiest I've seen Shivaay ever.
Vikram tries to yank it out but Annika refuses. Annika pulls her hand away and pretends its too tight. Rudra jumps in to cancel the ceremony completely..😆 I love these guys really..
Vikram has literally no fingers to put the darn ring on...😆
Gauri is really out to torture Shivaay. Dragging out the soap water ring removal, it was pure torture for him to see the last bond tying them together being literally pulled off from her finger. As the ring came off, tears broke free from her eyes.
She turns to him, Nothing there's nothing left between us. All finished. That figurative two steps back he took killed me a little bit.
Gauri is savage, seriously. Tossing the ring at Shivaay's feet was cruel man.. The same way he threw divorce papers at her and threw her out unceremoniously, this was like payback. He picked up the ring and looked a little lost there..
Helpful Sahil helped prevent disaster by putting lights out. Knowing she's afraid of the dark , Shivaay went straight to hold her safe. How she knew instinctively it was him holding her was ❤️..
"I'm here Annika, don't be afraid."
"You're not here Shivaay. You left me alone."
"Shhh..."
And he puts his ring back on her finger. You're still mine. This is still our bond.
Okay, the idea was mildly cheesy. But to me it gave context to the equation between them. Love is there, oceans deep, protective and 'til death to us part' type. Reunion is just a matter of time between these two. This secret stands in the way like a glass wall.
He knows now she hasn't moved on with anyone, she's still engaged to him for all purposes. So Vikram isn't an actual issue at all. But although he fixed the ring issue for her (with help of Gauri and Sahil), she was left with the situation of putting the ring on Vikram.
Ragini falls into a faint right on time. Shivaay as unconcerned as ever, 😆, eyes still on Annika. And engagement problem is fixed.
Later Shivaay admires the ring on her finger. I didn't force anything on you. You were already engaged, I only reinforced it clearly in case someone forgot.

He denies putting the ring again. When they had both been part of that tender moment in the dark, he knew and she knew, but this barrier...
Her resolve is already shaking.
"Shivaay, once I tell you..."
"It's all I'm asking Annika, just tell me once. Just say it.."
She needs to trust him to not overreact to this horrible secret she is keeping for him. Trust that he would believe her, and won't break down. Trust that she won't be the reason that Shivaay Singh Oberoi breaks. That her love is more that this secret. She is as important to him as his family.
He needs to trust her , to love her again. Full unconditional trust, no secrets, and he's ready to make everything right for them again. In a way they are both asking for that last thing from each other.
She asks for unconditional love.
He asks for unconditional trust.
Okay we get it, Ms. Writer. If you're building this up to Everest altitude, it better be a smashing awesome climax awaiting us. Because I'm literally losing hair here.
