THAT'S what's sadly missing in the storyline right now that would actually equalize this situation if we are actually going towards making both of them realize that they messed up...the writers add in dialogues of both of them retorting to each other and pointing out each other's mistakes but why is it only Shivaay that apologizes and not Anika?

Exactly my thought too! I doubt she herself regrets it! Why blame it all on Pinky? Ultimate decision sirf Anika le kiya! She keeps on saying she couldn't see him broken but half the job was beause you left him, lady!

An emotional sequence but let us see if Shivaay trusts almonds a much as his Bhagwan did!

This was the 4th time Pinky became Bhagwan! Rubbish!

He has to try to remember too!

but kya meri Anika ko bhi kabhi ye realize hoga that Shivaay really cares about her.. loves her... that she is really important.. that she is his strength.. Woh bas aise hi nahi bolta.. He really means all this.. that she needs to communicate/talk... 😊

Come On CVs... Give me Anika ka woh ek moment(similar to biwi declaration), when I can be very proud of her again for fighting and winning against her demons(Daar/insecurity/the fact that she does not fight... whatever CVs finally decide it is going to be..) 😊

LOL honestly if I go by today's epi, it is again proven that they are not interested in going that route for Anika...Shivaay is the one always tasked with being reasonable in this maamla and trying to be the adult telling her ki baat toh karni chahiye thi na? He's told her a bunch of times before but clearly Anika has a mind-block...she sees and then unsees...he has literally fallen apart in front of her a bunch of times, clearly shown his tadap to her but she fixates on the wrongs rather than the rights...even today in the handcuff scene, she used the bruises on the wrist analogy to remind him of how he threw her out😆...her entire focus is either on the grudges she has against him or on trying to protect him...these are the only two modes they have for Anika that they use to create "dramatic" situations in the storyline.

She seems incapable of having that kind of faith in him or actually their relationship as well...they redeem Shivaay time and again and make him the bigger person apologizing for his errors, atoning...but when it comes to Anika...simple whitewashing😆...glorify everything she does as a sacrifice so no realizations or apologies needed😆

LOL main kya kar sakti hoon, man😆...I can only put it out via this post...remains to be seen if the writers pick it up...Shivaay ke liye toh saare points pick up kar lete hain...LOL half his lines today were things we've all been saying in discussion posts here...but nothing for Anika as usual...that they all conveniently ignore😆

A win-win for the writer though, this.. Annika's act is justified by Shivaay even, making her look good, and Shivaay's reaction gets all the love and sympathy. Quite clever, if it's intentional... 😊

LOL I'm not sure how "clever" it is if we can see through it so easily😆...and it's definitely intentional...make Shivaay acknowledge her grand sacrifice, apologize to her so profusely and chapter closed😆...no thought spared for Anika to realize something from this or evolve...all they give her is that one "Main darr gayi thi" line to parrot on repeat😆

Beautiful caps😊 & nicely described,firstly hats off to NM-SC for their amazing performance👏 particularly NM as it is not easy to potray shock,hurt, breakdown along with potraying of drunkenness👏.Little kid wala Billu ji is baack & his billuness looked very cute in all the scenes including bhang mixing scene,bechara he didn't even notice he dropped the key right in front of her😆.He cried like a kid & looked more cute in caps,but they edited out some beautiful consoling hugs,it was more intense with all those emotional hug wala pose,but I expected before editing team will do something.

Idk why I feel Shivay remembers everything & CVs will show shivika will fake everything to do OMM of Pinky & reveal everything on the fake mrg day & they themselves end up marry making OMM of Pinky idk y but I think for the trps they will do that & for dragging another 25 episodes for Shivika reunion,but it will be dumb to show all these fake fiance track & anika will agreeing for mrg,trp aunties ko OMM ho jayegi😆

I was waiting for your post today AY...because I legit have sooo much!!! After a long long time I found myself connecting to these two...

First things first, NM SC were amazing today. And I can't say this enough...these two bring Shivaay Annika alive...not the story..not the aesthetics.. those help..but it's these two! And NM was phenomenal today... the earnestness on his face to just 'know' the truth was so real...the glistening eyes...the voice modulation and of course the small nuances like head shakes.. trembles...proud fan girl today! ❤️

Second, like you mentioned..it was a slow gradual build up in the 'truth' scene...and this was beautiful. Almost like ShivIka's journey itself... gradual with so many detours...building up to an inevitability. If this was meant to be a symbolism in a way, I applaud the layered writing in this instance. Specifically, it was the transition from their small carefree grins to the residue of angst between them.. to finally opening of the 'truth'.

Third, again as you mentioned, I too liked the fact that Annika actually told him about Pinky and the blackmail without the 'kasam'! Thank god for small mercies 😆

Of course, both of them later sprouting dialogues about Pinky being more important than bhagwaan had me cringing..but because this scene was so brilliant I am not going to nitpick through it 😛😆

Fourth, I absolutely ADORED Shivaay for apologising to Annika for holding her face too harshly by getting carried away in his emotions. The small things like this... from the careful caressing of her wrist that was hurt in the first scene to this...all of it just exemplies just how far Billu really has come in this journey.

Fifth, Annika's cuteness was so adorbs today too!!! "Shivaay toh chantomayi se bhi aage nikle" and her classic Annika expressions were so pretty and again so adorbs! Like, how do people actually justify not liking her character in these moments man?

Sixth, since Shivaay was shown to be having flashbacks and stuff..and obviously asking all the right questions.. I think the only way to justify the precap is all of this somehow adding up to be some form of SSO plan (almost like ML plan...but I don't know...haven't thought this through...but then ML track hardly made full logical sense anyway...)! Plus, with all speculations being on ShivIka ending up getting married at the end of this track.. adds to this explanation too.

Seventh, there were some face palm moments too of course... biggest one being the graphics of the "Jai Jai Shiv Shankar" sequence...LOL..what was that? Major editing fail...and I think I prefer their other 2 drunk dances.. but maybe this was meant to be different because Annika wasn't technically drunk in this one? LOL, I can't believe I am actively making excuses for the CVs today...😆..guess I am waaay more forgiving when they actually sit up and give us some actual good story progression and scenes!

Anyway, hope these rambles made sense! And thanks for sharing these caps... beautiful pictures! After a very long time, might actually rewatch the episode.

Acting wise its SC all the way today for me! She is simply brilliant...I personally feel Surbhi has aced the scene among the two! NM was great too but the crying part was over done...it was so Mahi kind!

As always, Harneet write the scenes from Shivaay's pov so it's obvious that Anika's characterisation seems to take a back seat...Such a great scene has been wasted for more drama!

I still wish we get a gud apology from both of them when Shivaay learns the truth in real when in his senses!

Had a Q! Why did Anika tell him all? Even abt Pinky? Is it because she thinks he will not remember anything?

But she should know he can if he puts his mind to it from the previous party experience?

If she decides to come clean, why wait until he is under bhangs influence? What was the need to keep it a secret this long! Is it just because of his kasam she poured all out?

Seems like Him not knowing the truth will continue for another 25 episodes!

THIS AY!! Especially the bold... I think that's probably one of the biggest pitfalls of this whole track anyway! Because, this is not really about the sacreficial Annika at all.. we all still have the scars from the post wedding reception drama... so CVs can honestly stop playing up this side of her character!! This was about her not having enough faith in her relationship... her misplaced notions of not being THAT important to him.

Shivaay already carries that hurt too of having to actually have been the one to call it quits...but Annika needs to take equal responsibility. She knew just what buttons to push, didn't she? She used her knowledge of him...(there's a reason spousal privilege exists in the legal system...partners do have waaay better insight into all the strengths and weaknesses to ever be put into a position of opposition)... against him in a way. It might have been for him, but really, if even after toda she doesn't properly reflect that it was in hindsight a really bad case of miscalculation then it's going to be a downright shame... because Annika was always a fast learner...especially when it comes to Shivaay...so while I am sort of cringing already with issues of expectations not met.. somewhere I really do hope that this time we would get at least some sort of growth in Annika's character.
