I missed your reply.
Honestly, I don't remember if it was a brother or sister so let's stick to she has/had a younger sibling lol. I'm not sure if what happened in DBO still applies to IB because Gauri is no longer grey or at least at the moment. Maybe there was another change in the tracks? The inconsistent writing is one of the major issues I have with the show. Completely agree with you all the characters are varying degrees of underdeveloped. I can't speak for others, but Bhavya would be a favorite for me if the writers didn't make her so cartoonish. Sometimes it feels like the writers are sabotaging her character with the scenes she is given and how its presented to the audience. I'm not sure if its just lazy writing or the writers are following some sort of formula to keep the TRP audience happy that I don't know about.
Your theory about her nightmare makes sense, but I feel like we put more thought into the characters and the show than the writers do lol. Anika like the other characters is altered to fit the current track that's why I take it one episode at a time. Who knows what the reason for her reaction and lack of action will be.
Honestly, I prefer none of them being related, but even NB gang ended up being related then unrelated with Romi being kicked out. However, if I had to choose based then I prefer Gauri because of her grey DBO persona, but to each his own. I'm with you a 100% I hope the secret doesn't turn out to be a huge letdown.
The show has a lot going on and most of it is unexplored so I'm always here for a fresh perspective. I enjoy reading posts like this so please do keep posting.
That's okay! Its not exactly difficult with the amount of spamming on this post.
I guess it doesn't really matter. The writers pick and change tracks to suit their convenience, so whatever they've said initially rarely matters. Shivaay's birthday, and age has changed multiple times throughout the course of the show. Like you said, the inconsistent writing on the show will always be a negative - I feel like the CVs barely respect the characters that they create.
I think thats's quite universal about this PH's shows. People look deeper into their shows, than they do themselves. I feel like all the women are terribly written - with an intelligent premise, and a disastrous follow-through. TRP constraints, really.
Yup, to each his own! But I do really appreciate the fact that you kept this conversation mature and polite all the way through - which is more than what can be said for the majority of replies on this thread!
