The last 2 days had some meaningful convos in the OM that were long overdue.
The Obros are back on track seemingly with Om acting as Shivaay's conscience, Rudy maturely talking to bade bhaiya in a serious tone. What a long way each of them have come in such a short while.
Let me begin with OmRu. They are brothers, one an artist with a sensitive soul and the other displays a playboy exterior with a tender innocent heart.
They both love Shivaay to bits but have stood against him or pointed out his mistakes when he made them. They were disappointed when he married Anika forcefully, ignored him probably for the first time. Yet they turn to him for solace, advice as he is not their bade bhaiya but also their confidant, friend and parent figure that is lacking sadly in their lives due to their parents misery in their marriage, their father's affairs to his hot temper, their alcoholic mother.

Both are pure at heart and accepted or recognized Anika for her worth much before Shivaay saw it. They are steadfast, loyal to a fault, deeply care for their mother, whom they want to be happy.
Om-Gauri marriage is a truth that is known only to the 2 of them. Am glad that Om has turned from SSO 2.0 back to his tender, quiet, artistic ways and is trying to figure out what Gauri means to him. He is attracted to her but it is not a raging passion that they feel for each other. Their journey has just begun and has a long way to go before he realises that he loves her. He stopped Gauri from leaving as he felt some unknown emotion, could not name it neither could Gauri call herself his wife as he is yet to accept her as his wife. The Om who shared his problems with his brothers is back along with dishing out Dear Abby for Shivaay. The Om whose belief in the truth was tainted, is pointing out the same to Shivaay. The way he spoke to Gauri today on how he lost his muse, his inspiration was touching. Liked how Gauri was able to understand his emotions even though she could not understand his words in English. They are slowly developing a bond, learning to read each other n understanding what makes the other happy or sad. The way he gently chided Gauri for trying to explain to him that she was not spying on him was cute.
Liked how both of them turned their backs the moment Nagini sidled upto Shivaay and said it as much. A baby that turned their lives upside down in a few short days leaving their days empty.
Rudra omg, where do I even begin. He is just brilliant and his comic timing has been fab. No comments on the Ruvya scenes. His sense of loss when Pari left to feeling that he is the youngest, to be taken advantage of, to spilling the truth on Nagini's face, that her very appearance spoils the moment for all of them is awesome. Loved how cutely he asked Om to 'Shut the Door at 8 pm, work hard to make a baby'. It was š¤£ š¤£ He showed his maturity, responsibility during the Pari track and also has learnt a few lessons since Anika left OM. He can't keep anything bottled inside of him for long and it is a testament that he did not spill the truth to Shivaay about that fateful day. He almost did and was covered up by Om who also spilled the beans but caught his slip of the tongue in the nick of time. A mama's boy, wonder how the TejVi-Lana drama is going to affect him.
Don't know if Bhavya is here to stay. Rudra who changed his GF's like he changed his shirts is now a changed man, who competed with Universe, Reiki spouting Tia for the number of likes on a pic to asking for advice from the Love Angel on how to woo Romi the Devi. Love it when his bros rib him on the same. š Only wish they show some closure of his marriage to Saumya. Leaving that wide open is not legit.
Shivaay: He has come full circle, a man for whom everything began and ended with NKK, now no longer cares for the same. It is only Love that can change a person to this extent. The superb emoting by NM the last few days is just brilliant. He could almost grasp the perfect picture of the family that his heart yearned for and was within reach. The sight of Anika cuddling and holding pari protectively is burned in his brain as is the picture covering Pari with her dupatta. The wistful longing in his eyes as he took in the sight to asking Anika if she didn't know that he loved her to bits was a revelation. His guilt, his recalling the moments spent with Anika, the words echoing that he could not see her as the mother of his children have all been laid to rest. His inability to express what he is feeling is his drawback and I hope that Anika remembers those words he said during the first ever hug. As he said, he has a heart that beats, has feelings, is not Stone Singh Oberoi for the most part, just not that good with words or expressing himself. For a man who could not say the word Love, said it twice yesterday in the span of a few minutes. The man for whom every relation was a deal including marriage, feels that Love can melt even the hardest of hearts. He falls back to his signature moves of wiping his face or stumbling with speech that reveal he is shaken emotionally, but hides it under layers of bluster. He became uncomfortable when OmRu pointed out that he loves Anika. His reaction to that was stunned disbelief, he never said it to himself n when he finds Anika in their room, it is stark, palpable, within reach. Stay here in my room... translation..please stay in my life, don't leave me, alone and lost as I am in the dark without you. The need to sacrifice, not look past that fateful day to seeking the truth, is a path that he has to travel solo.
The spoilers of the 'confession' has made me happy but I am also dreading the fallout, as Shivaay was under the influence of bhaang when Anika revealed the truth.
We have Gauri becoming the inspiration for Om, poking the artist in him to come alive.
