On the note of binge watch, you are probably going to laugh...but here goes.. so I started with a mix bag of expectations.. like fully expecting some fun but at least some semblance of the story but I couldn't connect at all. I don't know if it was because I might have sort of detached from the show over the weeks or this was genuinely felt by all of you guys here too? Putting aside a few amazing scenes where in Rudra made some awesome expressions and had some really funny one liners... plus some fun moments of ShivIKa ex facie falling into old patterns.. the story fell flat which is why I legit finished what should have been at least 4-5 hours binge session in an hour and a half 😆

But since we are sort of forbidden on ranting and complaining against the current track on the MF, I ranted on the complaints thread... hence the mention about your previous thread AY by the way!

Anyway, even today's episode was done within a good 10-12 minutes for me..and that is after watching 1-2 min of the Tej/Jhanvi/Swetlana drama too 😆

However, since the ShivIka scene in the beginning was so beautiful and so perfectly on-point that I am honestly okay with everything else today 😛😆

I thougth she looked beautiful here...ek toh it's so nice to see her in her old tops...this one is among my favs on her

Something heartbreakingly touching about him ducking his head, looking here and there and then leaving without saying a word...that entire silent stretch there...Anika looking at him, waiting for him to say something, him not being able to say anything beyond "you can stay here"...aww Billu😆

4) If I only get a Shivaay realization from this track and not an Anika realization or acceptance of her mistakes - She threw his proposal in his face COME ON.. Atleast show me some regret for that!! - I personally would be VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.. because the balance in this relationship is gone for a toss again.. Shivaay has grown again and Anika is still stuck in her web of insecurities! THIS...how do you bring about an emotional connect with a character? By showing a GRAPH to their emotions...when Anika first showed up at OM, they showed one scene of her feeling sad over Shivaay's state...but what after that? Why was this not consistently addressed? Now her thoughts are shown all over the place in the mix of filler tracks they throw at us so it becomes so much harder to decode and connect...and frankly the connect does get diluted...yeh toh is my basic fondness for Anika and SC that I still somehow have some connect but I do lament all the lost opportunities to make this a truly fulfilling emotional track with Anika's emotional growth too.

I think they're going to go for a quick "patch-up" but will not address the reason for Anika leaving at this time. They'll frame it as some sacrifice but won't tell what. Which is utterly stupid but they need Pinky around to taunt Gauri nowadays so they'll keep her.

Makes me think if they have something diabolical planned for us viewers for when the real truth gets revealed to Billu😆

Funny how I came across it at a time in the show when he began to feel a pull to her, became attracted to her and for the first time, was scared to lose her. I've been hooked since 😆

Only watch this show for Shivika and Rudy really. NM and SC are so bloomin' talented and have created two out of the world characters through their acting. Today, I was blown away by NM's 'tumhein nahin pata tha' dialogue and the way both turned their faces away from each. Distant in body language and broken. I wonder whether Anika herself is aware of the effect she has had on Shivaay. The way she has transformed him from Stone Singh Oberoi to Maum Singh Oberoi. Perhaps that dialogue of Shivaay's also hinted at his disbelief of her not realising that she is the one who has taught him to love. Guess this will all lead to a confession. I hope Shivaay and Anika are both able to express their love for each other soon. Guess that is when they will be termed true 'Ishqbaazs.'
