I too felt shivay is a way more similar to tej. Both have wonderful women in their life, and tej surely have a great love story too.. but tej was always been before business, i think unlike shivay he love himself more, he treated his brother secondary, shivay is more of a family person, and that is the main difference between them.. Im saying all these things to get some peace.. I cant imagin anika as next janvi and shivay as tej... i know ur not planning that...

Back to this first part, I am so in love. What is so amazing about this story is that your Shivaay and Annika, along with their future is so realistic. Obviously, in the candied world that the CVs often present to us, this discretion will never be seen (and for good measure, because it would kill me to see it onscreen!), but you've essayed it so beautifully. Comparing Tej and Jhanvi's relationship to Shivaay and Annika's is intelligent, because if studied through and through, all three couples have their respective hallmarks of the elder generation of Oberois - just that, they are all more seasoned, and more emotionally matured than their older counterparts. Nagini, as a Swetlana figure is also a very new approach to her character, and a much more interesting characterisation than what we have seen on the show, so far.

Both Shivaay and Annika's introspection was beautifully done - her fear of his potential infidelity, and his fear of her insecurities. I love the subtlety in which you imply how insecure Annika still is of herself. The assurance with which Shivaay is trying to diffuse it was written fantastically as well. That small element of miscommunication, with which both are too busy with trying to not hurt each other, was also gorgeously weaved throughout the shot. And the way he reinforced his love, and lust for her kind of got me up in shivers! So in love <3

All in all, I'm so annoyed that I haven't read more of your writing before. Also, I'm desperate for a new update! Please write truckloads more, because goddamnit I need to read some very good writing!
