I see the question being raised of Shivaay not knowing the REAL Anika...and apparently the REAL Anika is only that one who has now returned to OM with extra tadi to thaw Shivaay out from his apathetic state...lol...I don't really agree with this...

Just like Shivaay is made up of those many sau rangi shades that Anika once mentioned in awe, those shades that make her marvel as she discovers them, so is she...and he's known pretty much all her shades...from the wackiest to the most vulnerable...he's seen her at her strongest and at her most broken...he himself has broken her a couple of times and he's seen her rise in RESILIENCE each time...so no, there is no "real" Anika that has magically arisen only NOW for Shivaay to know...he's always known her.

"Real" Anika isn't the one that suddenly exits OM and stops wearing sindoor/MS...lol that doesn't magically make her "real"...the token attempts at independence that the writers throw in like her searching for a job never amount to anything so I'm not even going to go there...this is as 'real' as it's gonna get...lol...her independence shows in her other thought processes, not from what she's wearing (despite what madam creator likes to tout). Real Anika is also NOT the one who behaves in an extra ruthless manner to get a reaction out of Shivaay...that's just all nautanki, a facade.

So the problem isn't that Shivaay never knew the real Anika...the problem is that he hasn't scratched beyond the present...he knows her vulnerabilities and her fears but he doesn't know the reasons for them...

Frankly, both Shivaay and Anika have the capacity to CONSTANTLY surprise each other...lol even after having lived through a lot together...Shivaay especially feels she can do anything at any time...he's almost wary of her ability to do that...lol while Anika for her part is also surprised both pleasantly and unpleasantly by him sometimes...but then isn't that the whole reason this is supposed to be a journey? *hint hint - Jungle track convo*

There is no "real' Shivaay or Anika left for them to discover...but there are plenty of shades to discover along this lifelong journey they have together...those shades are a part and parcel of life and the circumstances that will come their way...otherwise they have a pretty good handle on each other's basic personalities...cuz in many ways they are kindered spirits...more similar than they realize...I'm reminded of their convo in the bread and green tea scene...where they marvel over their similarities and differences together.

For me,

The real Anika is the one who broke down when she realized she loves Shivaay or lost him or lost Sahil because love makes you vulnerable!

The real Anika is one who without any pretense, spoke the truth and stood up to Shivaay before the biwi declaration because she had had enuf..

The real Anika is the one who used to show Shivaay the mirror that his NKK is a lottery, show him his flaws, stand up for herself because she had courage to stand for what is right..

The real Anika is the one who was vulnerable in love but still had the courage to tell Shivaay how much he means to her because she is the bravest of them all..

The real Anika is the one who nodded her head and accepted that they will work together in this relationship because she loves him!

And Shivaay has seen all these shades.. He knows the 'real Anika' but there are many more shades to discover..😊

The one who has returned to Om is as fake as the one who orchestrated the separation! You can see glimpses of the real Anika in the new taadi-baaz one.. The one who just subconsciously shows her face...and these glimpses are reason for the return Of Billu!

@bold: Beautifully put👏...Anika is this amazing mix of strength and vulnerability...with a surprising amount of courage sprinkled in too...which is why I wish the writers would let her rise to that more often than selling her short with her vulnerabilities...Ofcourse she is allowed her vulnerabilities and insecurities like any human being...but why is she not allowed to work through them and grow/evolve as an individual like Shivaay has been allowed the opportunity in this show? That is all we hope for against hope without much expectation😕😆...
