AY your post👏
What a brilliant breakdown of their emotions. Shivaay and Anika are so special because of the trust they have, its never a question about trust I feel. It's never dramatic with them, they steal moments for themselves even with people around, these two are just love!!

Beautiful post ❤️
People tend to over react a lot 😆 Both Shivaay and Anika are stubborn kids who cant let go of each other but at the same wont take the step to reconcile. Its like in the pretext of helping OmRu and random fighting, what they really want is to be around each other. Just like Om said that their fights are an excuse to be around the other 😳
Their relationship is indeed building again and hopefully all this will lead to their beautiful reunion and love confession

@bold... Can I just say again... I LOVE you! 🤗and what and how you write!! 🤗

Thank You for this post... Much needed!!
The point I have been trying to make since a few weeks now...
Both are at fault.. Both needs to find their way back!! But needed to learn from their mistakes..Both need to redeem.. Both needed to understand each other..

A 'wise' PAPPU once said: "It takes TWO TO TANGO!!" 😆... Nahi Tanga toh ek jaan bhi chala sakta hai" 😆

haha awww thanks, BW🤗😆...I guess for some reason essays are just pouring out from me after many days...lol shaayad bahut dino ka backlog hai😆

@bold: hahaha wise nahin CHANTOMAAYI PAPPU hai woh😆😆...Oxymoron😆...had to watch this scene again now that you reminded me😆😆

How fitting that discussion is even for the current situation..."Mujhse galti hui lekin it takes two to tango"...haha

There you said it, girl. The scene was so endearing and has been on my mind on a loop after watching the episode. And also the precap.

Absolutely loved it. And your analysis is love. This is no Anika v/s Shivaay. I am not experienced wrt marriage 😆 but I guess two people come together to love and live with the flaws. And wrt Shivika's equation I don't see them as butchered (as the fandom calls it). In fact I am pleased and surprised the way Shivaay as a character has been handled. Vulnerable, expressive of his hurt vis-a-vis the typical back to being ruthless, non believer.

On a lighter note, what I definitely cringe is Shivaay's choice of clothes post lapse. Somebody get him out of flowery shirt. And please lord his highlighted hair just need to fade NOW. And Nagini. 🥱

@bold: Absolutely 😊...I do feel the storyline goes off track from time to time but my point was that OVERALL it's pretty pointless to start making this a "He doesn't deserve her anymore, she doesn't deserve him anymore" issue...that's just counterproductive and does not align with what their journey has been at all.

Shivaay's character definitely gets the most growth out of everyone but it would be nice if the writers provided the same amount of allowance for Anika in evolving her character 😆...Her insecurities have not been properly worked through so far and one can only hope the writers make some time to address those however this reunion happens.

Re: clothes...LOL after a while I become numb to them...especially if the scene is good enough...today was one such case...I loved their expressions enough to zone out the atrocities they were wearing😆

But SO MUCH WORD on his ugly highlights...they need to go NOW...even Anika seems to be going back to her old hairstyles in the upcoming scenes...can they please dye Shivaay's hair back too and go back to his old SSO hairstyle?

brilliant write up👏👏👏

Thank you!

Yes, they are definitely still lacking proper communication and trust b/w them...that has been their one achillees heel in their relationship...their inability to be fully transparent and placing complete trust in each other...making decisions and presumptions FOR each other in trying to protect each other...they've both done it out of good intentions but it has ultimately led to problems and ultimately ended up fracturing their relationship itself.

if you want to talk about eyes, how about you write a bit more about the kitchen scene too, when Naagini said Shivika are divorced and both again communicated through their eyes😳

I agree about SSO being consumed completely by Annika, but everyone are hoping that he'd see beyond what is infront of him( more in this case for Naagini than Annika)😆

the precap😳

i always loved an angry Annika... but we all know nothing much will happen, 1-2 mins of talks, and then track will change completely into hey baby one😆

Oh I loved that moment too...LOL honestly there was so much poignant eye communication happening b/w Shivika today that it said far more than words could...it's now started to PINCH both of them more than ever...when someone throws it in their face that they are "divorced"...Anika turns to look at Shivaay with this heartbreakingly innocent pain on her face...a question in her eyes that he is unable to answer and he looks away...but they were both stricken in that moment...as if reality cut in for a second...on a general basis, they easily fall into the patterns of being husband-wife, partners in every sense of the world...busy playing bhaiyya bhabhi to the rest of the brood...no one questions them about it...until this very moment...and then reality hits hard...and the pain is stark in their eyes...as if they relived all of their heartbreak in that moment.

Re: hoping that Shivaay sees beyond what is in front of him...LOL but how does it matter when Rags is just hanging around like a token statue in the show? Even after this stupid morphed video, she couldn't manage to convince Shivaay to let her stay in OM...lol aur kya chahiye...he's keeping the stupid fiancee act going only for the purpose of storyline contrivance...Rags ke hona, na hona seems to be ek baraabar for Shivaay...like he can't be bothered sparing ONE thought for her also😆...in fact he's busy running after Anika more than ever before😆

AY brilliant analysis of that all too important eye lock amid the drama.
Their eyes spoke volumes and Shivaay was in a quandry to find his wall back, his protector back in full armor. that stumped him a lot, i must say. They are finding their way back slowly after making mistakes. They both need to work up the courage to say what is on their minds, be completely transparent to the other. That day is not far off and look forward to it when it happens.

Anika's insecurites have not been addressed at all and we do not know what happened to Saahil yet. Shivaay is still stuck in a time warp of that fateful day to want to dig for the truth. He can't see what is happening under his nose.

Look forward to more of your essays now that the dam has broken. 😆

Exactly! I don't really see where this whole shivaay vs annika thing seems to be coming from. In today's episode, shivaay did not say a sing word when others were questioning nagini. He also looked at her like he wanted ti hear the answers. He disnt yell when annika told nagini to go sort the matter out herself. He only told annika to stop it when things loooked like they were escalating. Annika also dealt with it in the proper way - walk away instead of prolonging it.
Their weak point was always communication issues whixh this separation track should resolve. This track is not aboit shivaay vs annika. Bothe have made mistakes and both are trying to grapple with the consequences of their mistakes and are unconsciously trying to find their way back to each other. Nagini is a passing cloud who we wish will disappear

Personally I loved today's episode for ShivIka's silent conversations. They did not at all look like they were divorced. I will enjoy the hey baby track fir laughs and will look forward to the actual storyline

I've never seen such a couple where the eye contact scenes literally say so much without a single word... it's a totally shivikalicious feature lol :)) I love each and every bit of them. I've always been in love with this kind of scenes of Shivika ❤️

Thanks, Aishuu! Happy to write when they inspire me like they did today...I love silent eye communication scenes too...would prefer such poignant scenes on them than cliched trip-catch ones😆

Beautiful post AY! 😆 This was a perfect interpretation of today's moment.. I loved the way they had the silent conversation by just expressing with their eyes.. Shivaay was angry when he saw the video but the moment Anika picked up the phone he was so worried that she might mistake him..all pretense of moving on and getting engaged under the rugs..his expressions were that of pleading her to understand that it wasn't him and first instinct was to just clarify immediately that it was fake..he has never had that kind of a relationship.. and Anika's response was that of being hurt to be in that position but her resilient belief in him.. her one statement that none of his family including her needs any justification from her and have total faith in Shivaay.. that moment he was so grateful.. relieved and slightly surprised to see his own Anika supporting him as always.. it was such a poignant moment! 😊 Beautifully put, Mavs! Completely agree👏

And the fact that he didn't say anything to Nagini..well Anika and the junior couples were all asking her the right questions and Shivaay didnt defend her.. he just stood there letting them ask the questions.. it's obvious he doesn't care a bit about Nagini.. and all his concentration is only reserved for Anika.. yes he stopped her from continuing her rant because that's how he is.. and he immediately told her that he will handle it.. that doesn't mean he's picking Nagini over Anika.. he just wants to resolve the issue calmly..not increase it.. This. Exactly😆

He has been using Nagini as only a means to generate jealousy in Anika.. but now he's reducing that also..😆 He has stopped asking Anika about her engagement coz I think he realized that he was mistaken.. and right now he's just playing along with Ragini just to get some reactions out of Anika..but as soon as the fake video issue arouse he had such a true Billu expression that it's all fake..and in the end he made sure Nagini leaves the house..lol he's not interested in increasing the issue anymore regards to Nagini..one fake video and his false claims about moving on in life could have become a real thing and he was terrified that Anika would think wrong about him.. somewhere he has realised that she still feels the same about him.. and is just putting on a mask. 😆 They never clarified the Rohit angle after he discovers Rohit is a halwaai bachpan ka dost of Anika...lol so we can only guess at how much he knows, what he's thinking inside his head but yeah the writers for sure have put the whole Anika ka fake fiance angle on the back burner now and Anika seems to have totally forgotten to put up that act too...lol bas ek scene mein she talked about having "moved on", that's about it...I think he does suspect she's just putting on an act but he's so confused inside his head that he's still hesitant to be sure of it...so he chooses to play games instead...hoping she'll blurt out the truth on her own someday and he wins😆

I think the main issue is that both weren't equals in the relationship.. she herself gave Shivaay the higher position.. he didnt demand it or ask for it.. it was her fault.. he is a dominating character and so is she but she subconsciously made Shivaay her everything which isnt wrong entirely as long as you keep some balance..and Shivaay also didnt see all this.. It's kind of a funny paradox with Anika's character that she's so strong and confident otherwise but sells herself short sometimes...makes you wonder if the confidence is just a self-defence mechanism she projects...when there are two very strong willed individuals in a relationship, invariably one of them has to give in more than the other...more often than not it is the woman since by nature, women are more compassionate and emotionally strong, able to absorb that inside them...but that willingness to adjust and be flexible should never come at the cost of your self-respect, at the cost of losing your own identity...that is what Anika needs to realize...no one is asking her to blindly listen to everything that Shivaay says just cuz he's her husband...she has to figure out how to make this an equal partnership and think for herself too...communicating her issues clearly to Shivaay so that he can help her through them as well.

I don't think either of them realized the depth of her insecurities and neither did she talk openly with Shivaay about the way his mother treated her.. both took that problem for granted as they thought it would resolve on its own.. until it was too late..Shivaay's only main fault was that he didnt put a stop to Pinky's vile intentions and insults..Apart from that well he needs to dig into matters more than just looking at the face value of what has been presented to him..he basically doesn't realise somethings which he should but he will learn..😆 he has been learning a lot since the time he forcefully married her.. and if he had more time he would have learned more..😊 This is definitely a major issue...Anika doesn't offer any information about her past and last time when Shivaay tried to find out, she turned it into an NKK issue getting paranoid and insecure about it...so they have to find a way to work through this properly if the writers deign to handle the storyline properly...Shivaay needs to try harder and Anika needs to work up the courage to share her past with Shivaay more clearly too...beyond just crying over her misfortunes...she's a brave girl, we admire her for that...it would be nice if the writers allowed her the courage to work up to doing this also.

Re: Pinky...it became a series of unfortunate events...Anika did try to share the truth with him but the timing got all messed up...and yes, getting Shivaay to take off his blinders vis a vis his family is a very tall order...lol
