Gauri was shocked like hell so was Omkaara. Both were not expecting Jhanvi would bring in such a proposition. Omkaara regained himself first.

"Mom.. Kya keh rahein hain aap?,

"Jo bhi sahi hai Omkaara. Sirf aaj raat bache hain. Kal shaadi nahi hua toh, tumhe wo sue kar sakthi hain legally and then you will have to marry her before court. Isse better yeh hain, ki tumhaari shaadi hum kal hi karwale. Iss situation mein sirf Gauri hi bacha sakthi hain humhe Jhanvi exclaimed in excitement hoping Gauri accepts.

Gauri was still not out of shock. Why did she come her and what the hell is happening. She didn't even dreamt of such a proposition.

Jhanvi turned towards Gauri and held her hands. "Gauri I know ki main bahut badi baat maang rahi hoon tumse, par tumhaari alava aur kisi se maangoon main. Mera beta mere liye bahut precious hain Gauri. Uski zindagi barbaad hone se bachao Gauri. Tum jo kuch bhi mangogi hum denge. I know ki tumhaari family nahi hain. Agar tum kisi aur ko chahthi ho toh mana karo, warna please accept this proposal Gauri please Jhanvi was pleading.

Omkaara didn't like his mother pleading but he had no other option. He was in bail out situation and didn't have a choice. He fell silent unable to react. He felt its wrong to marry someone under such circumstance but considering the horror of a marriage he will get into, this seemed much better. He looked at her waiting for the reply. He thought he will talk after that.

Gauri composed herself for a minute. Her voice was heavy. Jhanvi landed her in a tricky situation. In these three months, she was getting to know her very well and almost considered her own mother. She was sweet and simple despite being the leading lady of the house. She gave so much respect to her despite being her attendant. She was starting to feel at home, when Jhanvi came up with such an crazy idea.

"Madam. Wo. Mujhe pata nahi main kya boloon. Aap humse kuch madat maang rahe hain mujhe naa karne ki mann nahi kar raha hain.. Par.. She stopped. Omkaara looked at her in anticipation. She looked at him back.

"Aap kahan aur main kahan, madam. Main sirf normal si life jeene waali aam insaan hoon. Aap log bahut ameer hain. Mujhe aap log ki saath barabari se jeene mein bhi dar lagta hain. Aur mujhe family nahi hai. Main anaadh ashram mein badi hui hoon. Meri papa ki naam pata hain, sirf. Main kaise aap ki bahu ban sakthi hoon. Mujhe yeh idea teek nahi lag raha hain madam Gauri refused politely.

Omkaara wasn't knowing exactly how he was feeling, given the overwhelming situation.

"Gauri tum kisi aur ko chahthe ho?

Omkaara felt a low undercurrent involuntarily.

"Nahi madam, main shaadi hi nahi karna chahthi. Mein sirf apni profession mein dhyaan dena chahthi hoon. Mujhe shaadi karne ki interest nahi hain

"Gauri, teek hain na. Yeh samjho yeh shaadi sirf ek temporary arrangement hain. Agar tumhe acha na lage to, koi tumhe force nahi karenge. Tum kabhi bhi shaadi se walk out kar sakthi ho. Om bhi mujhe kehta kahin baar, ki usko shaadi hi nahi karni hai. Uski zindagi mein waise bhi bahut kuch taqleef seh chukka hai already. Tum log sirf iss khatre se bahar aane ke liye shaadi kar lo, kal. Baaki cheesein baad mein dekh lenge Jhanvi was desperate now. She used all her business woman skills to convince Gauri.

Gauri was in a fix. How can she refuse this now? This marriage is not anywhere serious and there is an option to walkout. She can help a family in need, with whom she shares an unexplained bond. Gauri heaved a huge sigh.

"Teek hain madam, Agar aisa hain to humhaari liye manzoor hain Gauri looked at Omkaara.

Jhanvi turned to Om, now. "Omkaara I know ki maine tumse pooche bagair saara decisions le li. But we don't have an option either. Tumhaare liye yeh teek hain na?

"Mom, You know I don't want to get married. Par situation kuch aisi aagayi ki hum usse avoid nahi kar sakthe. Svetlana ko door rakhne ke liye main kuch bhi karne ke liye tayyar hoon. Par I want to talk to Gauri in private before that. So will you please excuse us for a minute, mom? Omkaara's voice was firm.

Jhanvi looked at both of them with hope and left the room. Omkaara and Gauri sat in a awkward silence for few minutes. Omkaara started first.

"Gauri, situation bahut awkward hain and complicated bhi. But this is our problem. Agar tum madat karna chahthi ho, to teek hain. But should your life get into trouble, we don't want it. We can handle it differently. To batao, tumhaari koi commitments hai?,

"Mujhe koi commitments nahi, Gauri replied blank.

Omkaara still didn't get whether she got his question fully. "Tumhe kisi ko explain karna ya inform karna hai?

Gauri understood his question. She looked at him straight. "Meri zindagi aise koi nahi hai

Omkaara looked at the sharp expression in her eyes for brief second. "Meri zindagi mein bhi I don't have commitments with anyone. Iss shaadi se lekar tum pressurized mat feel karo.. Yeh sirf ek emergency defense hain. Should you want to walkout of this marriage anytime, main tumhe rokhoonga nahi. Tum tab bhi utne hi free ho jitney ab ho.. teek hain Gauri? Omkaara was explaining to her in a low voice.

Gauri noticed for the first time, he is calling her in singular and with her name.

"Teek hain sir. Main aapki biwi sirf naam ki. Aap bhi kuch commitment mat feel kijiye iss shaadi ki wajah se. Main yeh madam ke liye kar rahi hoon Gauri faced elsewhere.

Omkaara wasn't sure why he was feeling low key disappointed with her reply even when it was expected.

"Teek hain phir. Kal subah please get ready He left the place.

Meanwhile Jhanvi just walked into see Gauri standing with a thoughtful face. She held her hand.

"Gauri, Trust me. I am not using you for my selfishness. I am helpless. I am seeking your help and I will definitely protect your intentions. This marriage is not a forced one, you can do whatever you want with this. There will be no obligations from my side and Om's side also. If you choose to stay, I would be the most happiest but if you choose to walk out, I will still be happy for you because I know what it is like to stay in an unhappy marriage Jhanvi had tears in her eyes. \

Gauri hugged her involuntarily.

"Madam, please mat royiye

Jhanvi smiled and thought to herself, Her son needs this selfless care and warmth for redeeming his broken soul and she is sure gonna like him when she gets to know what her Omkaara actually is. They are perfect for each other.

Okay so Ri & Kara going to be RiKara because of Jahnvi Bhagwaan aisi saasumaa sabko de ... Reading this Gauri's reaction was quite expected with her getting an option to leave Om whenever she feels ... Mujhe laga that why did not Om protest about Gauri being talked into the marriage ... Then assumption of psyche explained that he is damaged beyond repair 😒 I don't like seeing Om like this ... Gauri an orphan has no family ... And Om is going to be her family now ... Even though both of them have mutually decided to give each other all the space and are expecting no commitment ... I say ruk jaayein saaibaan ... Ishq pe zor nahi ... I really like their mind clarity saying shaadi karni hi nahi hai ... Both of them on the same tangent because of different reasons ... These two are complete strangers arranged in matrimony ... I am really looking forward to a mature bonding ... Jaldi jaldi shaadi karaao aur svetlana ko bulaao ... More than that i want them to share personal space ... Talking to each other about their problems ... Jahnvi ne sahi jugaad bithaya ekdum ... Now lets see what happens when two people who are mentally prepared to live a loner life are married ...
