This OS is where Gauri really is pregnant after that nasha and coma drama. Takes place after a month or two of Guauri announcing her pregnancy and taking that kasam in front of shankarji. A bit darker one of my writings, let me know if you liked it.

The pain is real. The blood is real. The baby is real. Was. The baby was real. It is the affection from him that had been fake in all this. At least for her. The love he had for the baby had been very much real, she hadn't doubted it for a second.
"Say something, Gauri!" he screams at her, fingers digging almost painfully in her upper arm. She doesn't even spare him a look. He rests his forehead on hers, his tears slipping on her face while she blinks monotonically.
"This silence is killing me. Don't I deserve at least a word from you? Please... please, Gauri just say something. Anything, scream at me. Blame me. Just talk, I'm ready to listen without interruptions. Without stopping you," he slowly moves to rest his head on her thigh, breaking down again in her lap. It pains him when she still doesn't move, her hand stays still by her side. It's his mistake, he realises to even expect a shred of affection from her, especially in her current state. He slowly sits up, pulling her unresisting form close to himself.
"Gauri! It's not your fault. For what it's worth, I'm sorry. It won't make a difference but I want you to know that everything is going to be alright. It's not the end of the world, he presses her against his chest tightly. The warm body of her husband does nothing to heat up the chill she feels. She stays still against him, not even bothering to respond. It has been the same for the last two weeks. She hasn't uttered a word, neither in the short stay at the hospital nor in their room. She eats whatever is put into her mouth, drinks when a glass is brought to her lips.
It hurts him to see her like this, she hadn't even acknowledged anyone's presence after waking up in the hospital. In fact, she had barely even looked at anyone since coming back, instead choosing to stare at the walls of their room quite animatedly. Every member of his family has tried to speak to her, coax her into crying like the doctor had suggested. All their efforts had been in vain because she sits in the same spot for hours, unmoving and unaware of the presence of anyone. He even contemplates getting Annika to speak to her when everything fails feeling selfish for once because he simply cannot see her like this. He is quite sure Annika will be able to help, he had even tried getting her to the hospital but Shivaay's constant presence outside the room and the short stay had prevented it. He presses his lips to her head when she remains immobile in his arms deciding to get Annika tomorrow, the differences between Shivaay and Annika be damned. Right now, breaking Gauri's silence mattered more than anything else. He slowly settles back on the bed, taking her with himself, now quite comfortable with the routine. Omkara takes a moment to adjust her on himself before trying to lull her to sleep. He ends up falling into a restless sleep himself and she waits until his heartbeat turns to an even rhythm before slithering out of his now-faltering hold and exiting the room.
This has been her routine now: stay silent, listen and walk out once he falls asleep. Except that this time, she doesn't stop. She keeps on walking, out the main door, out the gate, out the damned mansion that hadn't really given her anything. It had in fact taken away everything from her, the very essence of who she was.
She keeps on walking till she reaches the railway station; feeling proud as her feet don't hesitate even for a moment. She has specifically chosen this day because of the train that leaves for Bareilly, in the middle of the night. She calmly boards it, without looking back even once, giving some rest to her weary feet on the nearest seat she can find. She doesn't really know what makes her get down some stations later though, at a place which is as unknown as Mumbai had been once. Maybe because she doesn't have the heart to go back to Bareilly or maybe because she is tired of all the drama and pain that place has spelled for her. For reasons unknown, she walks out the tiny railway station into a village she never even knew existed.

It had all been Pinky, a granny trick and a roadside astrologer that had sealed the fate for them.
"Tu jaanti hai na ye kyu hua hai? Beta chahiye mujhe! Beti nahi. Ratan chahiye mujhe mera. Agar phir se iss takleef se nahi guzarna hai to agli baar beta hi laana apni kokh me," Buamaa's confession after her discharge from the hospital doesn't really have an effect on her. It had been Pinky who had been all excited to know the gender of the baby for pre-planning, as she had told everyone before suggesting an age old trick to determine it. Then the roadside astrologer had confirmed the answer gathered from the trick leading her to end up on the foot of the giant staircase of Oberoi Mansion as she slips on a puddle of oil only to land unconscious in a pool of her own blood. It had been quick, she hadn't even had the time to scream.
She loses the ability to feel the moment she wakes up in the hospital room to see a sympathetic look on the doctor's face and to notice the absence of the tiny bump that had become her reason to live after the humiliating accusations of her husband. The world had stopped right there and then, everyone had cried at the loss while she felt curiously empty. There hadn't been any feelings inside her, no feelings powerful enough to muster up the previously ever-present tears.
A peaceful feeling takes over her heart as the distance from a place she had thought as a home increases. She feels relieved to have left everything and everyone behind, one of the best decisions she has ever made in her life.
He is right; it is not the end of the world. It is just the end of her world. And for what she has lost, walking away from Omkara and the family is a small price to pay. Because love is a weakness, she has finally learned this lesson. The only regret being the late realisation. She is sure she isn't in any condition to save anyone, not even herself. So saving Omkara from his own family automatically jumps out of her priority list. The others are bound to take care of him in her absence but she couldn't - she will not go through any of that again. Gauri Kumari Sharma has had enough, she resolves determinedly, gaining surety with every step further. An orange sun peaks from just beyond the horizon and she feels the smallest of smiles stretch her lips.

Omkara's scream of anguish echoes around the huge mansion when no one finds her anywhere even after four hours of extensive search.
