"No! Please don't beat me"

"Chutki please...Chutki.."

"Bhaiya...Bhai.."

"Please...Please.. don't leave"

Anika was clutching the sky blue duvet tightly. Tears were coming out of her eyes. Her face has been reflecting emotions of pain and hurt.She was sweating very badly.

Shivaay who was relaxing himself beside the pool side, heard his wife sniffing and whispering. He instantly left the place to calm Anika. Rushing towards Anika, he wakes her up and holds her closer to him by engulfing her in his arms.

"Sshhh! Don't cry...baby..Don't cry.."Shivaay whispered in her ear.

He was running his long fingers behind her back and brushing her soft curls to sooth her.She was crying continuously.It manages to calm her down.

He continued to held her like that for some time.He has been worried about Anika. She is getting nightmares since the memory loss drama. Anika is like him who neither shares her problem with anyone nor accepts any help.

Whenever he asks Anika about the nightmares she avoids the topic.

To sooth Anika, he carries her with him to the love seat which is placed beside the pool side.

He switches on the radio to calm Anika down.

Anika and Shivaay have different tastes of music. Shivaay prefers calm and soft music to sooth his nerves where as Anika loves all dhinchak songs to be energetic. But the songs of AdYa(Advay-Anya) are the only singers which they listen together.

Today Advay will be singing solo song and unfortunately Anya cannot accompany him. Shivaay loves Anya voice, it reminds him of a certain person who is very close to him who too sings well. Shivaay eyes always turns moist after hearing Anya's voice for some reason. Anika strangely always calms sown whenever she hears the voice of Advay. She relaxes often after hearing his songs.

Today Advay will be singing a song.

Before singing, he said that he's dedicating it to girls he had loved the most in the world.

Anika relaxed after hearing the song and had fallen asleep.

Gauri was pacing like a pendulum near the French Window of the family room.Tears were cascading down her cheeks.

Om had accused her again of being characterless and cheater. She don't know why Om accuses her like that. She was tired, broken and she has now no one in this world.

Few days ago her adoptive mother left the world and before leaving she told her about the orphanage from where she is adopted which is in Maharashtra.

She had clutched the anklet in her fist near her chest.

It is the only possession,she had of her biological family before getting separated.

She was only 4 years old when she got adopted. She has no memory of her former family except for some gimplises of a elder boy and girl playing with her and "Chutki" a name which always echoes through his head.

Suddenly she hears a song coming from poolside. Unknowingly she made her way towards the voice which she heard few moments back.

Prologue Part 2

Advay was fiddling with the moon bracelet which he had wore on his left hand.He was nervous and excited, to be precise he was churning up by humongous tornado of mixed feelings He was going to sing alone today. He has Anya mostly to share the screen with. It was rare for him to sing alone on the radio.

He was dressed in a white checkered shirt and black leather jacket and beige denim with black canvas shoe and acoustic guitar was slinging by a strap on his shoulder

The moon bracelet on his left wrist and a gold ring complimented his look. Anya was helping him get ready for the show by giving him tips to calm down or he will do good.

He put up his calm and stern facade which was reserved for those with whom he deals in buisness for years. Keeping his hand on Anya's shoulder, he smirked at her.

Shivanya blushed at the gesture.

"Anya baby, don't get too much worried" He reassured her.

Anya jerked his hand off her."How can I not get worried while you sing all alone on the radio?" She asked with a hint of concern.

"No need to worry as Advay Singh Raizada isn't among the ones who loses any challange." He said in an arrogant tone.

Anya facepalmed at his arrogance. He always reminds her of her twin brother, who is opposite of her and a certain big fat ego carrying uncle who was one of the richest man of India

Anya was informed that Advay was going to sing a song which he had been working on for past fortnight. Advay had not informed her about the song to anyone not even Anya. Anya being the curious Billu's twin had a habit of stuck her head inside the crowd of rumor to get the cat out of bag.

To take out the details from her husband's mouth, she tried to melt him down with her sweet side. Alas! Her fate and believe was crushed into pieces by the KnowItAll-Arrogant Husband of hers.

"Please tell me at least why are you singing the secret song?" Anya pleaded.

Sighing deeply, Advay gave in to Anya's pleadings.

"Anya today Advay Singh Raizada is not going to sing but Anu and Chutki's brother Advay is going to sing a song for them." Advay said in a serious tone.

Anya's eyes moistened with tears. She was happy and luckiest to get a husband and person like him. A dedicated brother who still loves his sisters more than anything and anyone, A loving son of his deceased parent and most above all a loving,caring and supportive husband. She was happy that she took the decision of eloping with him 5 years ago. She didn't regret a moment for taking such a risky decision years ago.

Advay was staring at the photograph of two girls hugging each other and had lovely smile pasted on their faces. Tears started to form in his eyes.He started crying his heart out. Anya went to him and hugged him tightly. She rubbed his back to sooth him.

Chapter 1-Nightmares

"Doctor how's Anika doing?" Shivaay who was sitting in the right side of the bed, was holding Annika's hand, brushing her hair to keep her calm. Annika was asleep in the bed and Dr Varun Mehta, the family doctor of Oberoi was treating her.

"She is under stress and checking her physical conditions I'm afraid that if she continue to be under stress, then some serious health conditions in future may arise."Dr Mehta informed.

He packed his apparatus and got up from his seat near the bed.Turning to Shivaay's direction he spoke," Shivaay Beta, I would like to have a word with you now?"

"Yes Mehta Uncle, I'm coming."Saying this he left Annika's hand and Dadi went to Annika. Gauri was changing the wet cloth on her forehead.

Shivaay followed Dr Mehta to the study room.

"Mehta Uncle, you want to talk something important,is it about Annika?"Shivaay asked with concern.

"Yes, Shivaay. Please tell me in detail if Annika is getting proper sleep and behaviour patterns post the fake memory loss drama."Dr Mehta asked him in a corncerned voice.

Annika has been distanced from the family for a few days. She speaks less nowadays, whenever he tries to talk about her she diverts the topic. She wakes up early before him now which is a shock to him. She was looking pale in the evening. He confirmed from Annika's staffs that she had not eaten lunch today afternoon. Annika was now running her own catering business now and recently she tried her hand in event management. She is successful in a short time. He remember about Annika's fear of darkness and nightmares which she saw few days ago. He told about Annika everything in detail to Dr. Mehta. He remembered Annika calling names 'Bhaiya' and 'Chutki'. She was pleading to someone not to beat her. He told Dr about her nightmares too. She didn't ever told what type of nightmares did she saw.

"Shivaay, from what you have told me about Annika beti, I have a feeling that she is afraid of something and is tensed too. Her nightmares may be related to some very bad memories of her childhood. She needs to loosen up and cheer up bit." He explained his views to Shivaay.

Shivaay was listening to all his words carefully. "Annika beti is in some sort of trauma, she needs you and the family most this time. You are her husband, no one knows her better than you. It's your and your family's duty to take care of her and make her comfortable so that she can share her fears, pain and problems with you."

He went near Shivaay, kept his hands on Shivaay's shoulders and continued,"Marriage is an intimate union of two souls. Trusting each other, supporting each other in bad times, walking hand in hand every day, sacrificing for each other and most of all understanding and sharing with each other are important in the marriage.Shower Annika with love and happiness, make her believe in yourself so she can open up to you enough to share her feelings with you."

Saying this he left from there, leaving Shivaay lost in his thoughts.

He went to his room only to find Gauri, Om and Rudra beside Annika taking care of her. Om went to him,"Shivaay I need to talk with you."

He held Shivaay's hand and dragged him to their grandfather's study room which no one dares enter other than Obros and Prinku and Dadi and Annika and Gauri was specially welcomed there by Shivaay which fueled Om's anger towards Gauri more.

Om asked Shivaay about his little conversation with the Dr Mehta. Shivaay blurted out all in front of Om and burst into tears in Om's arms.

"Shivaay handle yourself for Annika bhabhi. Please be strong." Om consoled him while rubbing his back.

"Om doesn't she trust me enough to share her pain or fears with me? Did she ever trust me enough to share her past with me? Did she trust me enough to let me wipe her tears? Did she ever let me come closer to her?Why Om? Why? Am I that bad? Am I not a good husband?"

Shivaay broke down."She always stood beside me and get hurt but never complained even if I hurt her in my anger. She still forgave me. She even accepted this forceful marriage whereas I didn't accepted the marriage. She stood by me when I need her the most but I, I doubted her in spite of what she did to our family."

"Om i always claimed that I knew her better than anyone but the truth is that I don't know A SINGLE DAMN thing about her. I failed Om, I failed."

Author's Note

1)ShivIka Track will be based on after Tia's exit and Memory Loss Track.

2)Svetlana's secret had been revealed along with Kapoor's hidden intentions. Gauri is accepted in the family. Om has not accepted Gauri yet.

3)Tej is changed man now and attempting to seek Jhanvi's forgiveness and on his path of redemption.

4)Rudra track.

The same question Sumo or Bhavya you want?

I leave that to you all to decide.

5)I'm thinking of adding Daksh, Kamini and about Mahi I've no idea.

But I don't like duplicate taking our Shivaay's place. If I add him, I won't hesitate/control myself for putting Jalkukda Singh Oberoi chapters in the story.😉

6)AdYa(Advaay--Shivanya) track is little different. I think I might write an one shot or short story on them or more like spin off stories on them.I'll post it on Wattpad though.
