Briliant Article...And perfect questions...Questions that all have been asking...

"Was it absolutely necessary to go down the same lane opted by a zillion shows in the past, and present for the Ishq ka Imtihaan' ?.

Was it really hard and impossible to create a meaningful and interesting track for one of the most beloved on-screen couples on Indian Television without the help of such overused shenanigans?

The answer to both questions can only be

Lack of creativity,
Running short of ideas or
Lack of interest as there is another show coming up..

I don't know why but seeing the TRP patterns for various shows these past months that had separation tracks...I believe that TRP's girega...

I agree, In recent times whenever shows have attempted to show a separation track especially on SP it has backfired...I don't want to compare so not taking names...but those who follow the TRP's charts can very well see that unlike 5 or even 2 years back separation tracks no longer work.

Writers should stop taking viewers for granted. Regardless of the crowd that watch Indian Telly, viewers perception have changed ... This week's TRP shows that only two shows have managed to cross the 2.0 mark when a year or two back the ratings were in the 6's and 7's. This a testimony to the fact that the same old stuff as it is or refined and shown in a new way is not satisfactory anymore.

i completely agree with them...i thought im d only one who dont like d current track..i doesnt mean to spread negivitivity..

i shocked to c fans buttering gul n harneeth mam that promo is awesome n they cant wait to watch..i mean really??? we should hav some short time memory loss n act like nothing has happened between them..d beautiful story n progress of shivika they hav show till now was destroyed...i know this is a show they hav to run for years but this kinda forced seperation i cant stomach it..im just waiting for d day when pinky truth comes out..from that day i will start watching my favourite show n fav actors on tv..until then im afried to read written episodes also...

these r just my views ..no bashing plzz

They are under the illusion that this age old formula will work for IB also 😕 What they fail to see is that viewers are over the whole separation drama and especially one which is undermined evil/wrong doings.

I am not saying that Indian viewers don't love drama or theatrics, but even in those they are looking for something new. IB delivered something new and different in the beginning but then Gulneet joined the same old bandwagon and the new promo of new entries as potential parallel leads proves that they are still stuck in terms of creativity in the 18th century
