We can accept anika with her faults why can't we accept shivaay too???

Disclaimer: this is no place for bashers so if you think I am not replying to your comment then it's your fault not mine!!!

I have been arguing about this fact from day one that shivaay has been like this I mean hot headed, an extremist when it comes to NKK, going to extreme level to save the respect of his family even if it is wrong but wasn't that all, I mean the whole point of this character?? that with all his flaws he will be accepted or forced to accept him by someone special and that special will change him in many ways, I will not go in detail as you have seen perhaps more than me because I have been on the skipping IB spree many times but most of you are regular watchers, I hope I have not miss any delicious shivika moment because of this!!! anyways, shivaay has redeemed himself in many different and unique ways but did not redeemed enough to satisfy most of you who are always after shivaay even when he's not wrong and for argument's sake let's take today's episode when shivaay was all set to start afresh with anika but she broke his heart and why...again I am not going into details, everyone is happy considering all that has happened was very charming and right time to pour out her frustration on shivaay but unfortunately it was not charming it was pathetic!!!this blow that cvs have given us/me I don't think I will ever be recovered from this, I always wanted shivaay to remarry anika and proposing her but what did we get???? OH I get it, maybe gul read the mind of fans and decided to give them that poetic justice feeling what comes around goes around!!! sorrry hell no that was a very bad timing!!! I am not against the words she spoken but under the pressure of that god forsaken woman pinky.

Despite of all that I see that people are still saying anika is justified and she has given shivaay and family a payback but when it comes to shivaay no one is ready to understand him, when anika told shivaay mein anika hi rahongi nahi badlongi to that shivaay answered" I need some time, he actually asked her"kia muje waqt mil sakta hai??? and compare this to their wedding day" mein tumse poch nahi raha hoon, tumhe bata raha hoon??? so many episodes passed between that journey on their wedding day" kal mein tumhe divorce de donga" and then he wanted her to stay" muje waqt mil sakta hai, he explained himself to anika that he cannot change overnight and since that he did all he could to make her happy.

We can accept anika for who she is than why not shivaay??? I always wanted ask this question a long time ago but I think now is the high time, he's being bashed always even when he's not at fault

You guys may think I am biased towards shivaay but so are those who take anika's side even when she is wrong and try to justify it because that's how anika is but I can say the same about shivaay that'show shivaay is from day one, that's why he's being punished for being shivaay but when we say where is our tadibaaz anika and she's being ruined it is said that anika cares for everyone and she has a big heart so it means when we complain anika being not anika we are giving her punishment for being anika???

if that is the case than both shivaay and anika should be equally punished why is one of them* for e.g shivaay* is always blamed for doing all the wrongs????

If that's what Gul having in her mind then I want to say this to you lady ;you have lost your marbles and you have badly screwed things up!!!!

I'd like to thankyou for this post, firstly. I don't have it in me to make a post of my own anymore explaining why i relate to shivaay's character more than any other fictional character ever.
The points you have mentioned have always been there in my mind all the time too, it's probably because shivaay's obsession with the infamous naam, khoon and khandaan. Andd weirdly enough, to me that is as normal as it could be. If i am honest, which i usually am, everything that is shivaay singh oberoi is, i see bits of him in my personality, the family orientation, the eldest kid, tons of responsibilities, family teachings, specifically the khoon and khandaan part, i have grown up on it, its going to be with me forever. So i do take things personally on this forum when people talk about the naam, khoon and khandaan as if its the worst trait it could be. Hell, people judged for being fat, what world are we living in? And what idealistic world lets one be themselves, without compromising. So, I don't get why this one fault of his overshadows everything that he is from within? I refuse to believe that this is the best way annika could have handled this situation, i refuse to believe that the brothers who say that they know their brother way better than anyone could not think of a better solution where shivaay doesn't all together loose his hope on trust in everyone and everything around him.
This guy, has been trying to change himself, change his beliefs with no one to learn from. And the funniest part is people saying that he thinks he has the perfect family, where as the fact of the matter is that he knows how fragile his family is where anything can break it into pieces. But he is trying to maintain the promise he made to dadi, to always hold the family together, doesn't matter if he emotionally has to kill himself to bring them together, he'll do it.
Ps: sorry for ranting it out on your post, i just thougt i could put in some words for my billu. So if anyone contradicts, i'll say pehle hi, billu comes first for me, a biased Shivaay Singh Oberoi fan i am.

anika is not perfect either if ppl are so happy with her baddas avtar why did not she do it when she got married for her brother...today the way she spoke to him was only possible becoz of shivay himself..the old shivay would have avenged her n been brutal...

well I do not agree with anika n her methods she played with shivay singh oberio...i dont have problem with what she said today but what I am upset with her about is u are hiding a truth of some1 u claim to love..becoz U THINK HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT...who is she to decide..

Double standards or... maybe because Shivaay has done worse to Annika, which is why more people justify Annika when she does something wrong rather than Shivaay who has been a horrible person since he met Annika.
