I know am late, got busy, but as I had said, will give my views.

You are right, infact yes shivaay has his flaws, was hot headed, made mistakes, but has tried to improve them so much. he made so many efforts, like caring for her, taking out time to understand, make aloo-puri for her, planning first night, and so many small gestures.
Even the NKK thing, when her mother track was on, he admitted, that it is tough to accept the whole thing as he has grown in a different envirnment, his value system is different, but he needs time to accept reality, family bg, and asked anika to support him, he said he will try, for days, weeks, months or years, as he did not know how long it takes. he is right, you cannot change overnight, everything is a process right, which goes on gradually...he felt guilty for marriage, he tried now to do ceremonies, gifted her bangles, decorated room for her, was ready to marry again properly.
If this is not redemption, I do not know what is,
Instead of supporting Shivaay now, being his anchor, she decides to leave him in a storm? I do not find this justified, sepration track seems forced, and her mahanta makes no sense at this point, when the characters were developing, story too. Plus, it seems horrible that whole family except him knows truth, how shattered he would be to know it? Who will support him then? she may think family, but doesn't she see, she is also a main part of his family, he shares most with her.
Then breaking him in the most horrible way, insulting him, and his marriage, why? He was actually believing in love, giving it a chance, but now, wont he again go back to square one, where he says marriages are deals? she has broken and hurt him more.
Also, shivaay cannot just randomly guess the truth, cos he is not a mind reader, he may guess, and did that she is disturbed, but cannot tell reason. she planned so much to hide it well. He is human, so she needed to communicate.
Plus, Anika should not have dragged his family, it was planned by her, and it was natural for him, to stand for his family, cos she truly changed her colours, and he could not guess in his wildest dreams the real reason.
I agree. Whatever Anika does, is always justified, and this is unfair.
Shivaay has done so much, for everyone, too, but he is blamed...like now too, why he did not stop her.
