So true and that is what I love about Shivvay's character. When he loves and trusts it is with complete commitment to that relationship. It is one of the reasons why his faith in Pinky is unshakable.

I find it utterly adorable that this man with a 'king size' ego, massive amount of vanity and pride and a 'truckload' of Taddi has no issues whatsoever in displaying and even vocalizing in public, his complete and utter adoration for his wife. I swear at times he looks like the priest worshiping his Goddess. The look that he wears speaks volumes about how important and essential she is to his very existence.

Even Gauri pointed that out to Om today and I don't think the man took it too well that he was told that Shivvay was a better man than he was ...lol 😆

I can already see the parallels between the two relationships here. I remember Annika telling Shivvay the very same thing, how much better a man Om was as opposed to him 😆, and I truly believe she would still do that.

She was ok with Gauri whacking Shivvay with the Candy on his head and said 'hota hai' dismissively but when she threw water on Om she actually apologized without a single moment of hesitation. She was appalled that she threw water on Om while she does this as a routine with her husband ...lol 😆

As much as she loves and adores Shivvay, Om is always going to be the perfect one in her eyes and she will be the perfect woman in Om's.

Om's whole tender and admiring smile, his gently placing her next to Shivvay while making sure she held the 'aarti' and his puffed chest when he stood behind his Bhabhi says it all. No woman will match up to Annika in Om and Rudy's eyes.

You can expect the same for Gauri and who ever comes as Rudy's lead. Shivvay will be the ultimate man and neither husband will ever match up to him in their eyes. (it had already happened in Saumya's case..lol)

Coming back to the smitten husband -
In today's scene, where Annika did the 'Aarti' with him, wrote her name and then did the haldi imprint, his whole body language was out of this world.

Not a word was spoken about his admiration of her and Annika herself was unaware of how much she was being adored and worshiped because of the stress she was under, but Shivvay was completely lost in his wife. He does not do it to make her know that he is admiring her but it is like a reflex action to his wife just being in the same room as him now- as natural as breathing and that is what irks Pinky.
Everyone especially Om, Gauri, Jhanvi, Shakti, saw this love and admiration very very clearly today.

My favourite scene was the haldi imprint. Annika was in a daze and it was Shivvay who actually made the imprint by gently guiding and pressing her palms down. Then like a 'proud papa' whose child has done a 'finger painting' in her art class, he stood there for a few minutes admiring what was a mere routine procedure for Oberoi bahu's. One would have thought, by his look, that she had painted a masterpiece worth a 'Picasso' !!! 🤣 🤣

Smitten does not begin to describe this man. That is what Gauri sees as well and of course compares it to what she has with Om😭

Just today in Harneet's chat she mentioned how writing Shivaay's character is the most tough for her because of his 100 shades, and I agreed with her, but when you write about him and Shivika scenes I actually notice what I have missed through your eyes !
