Bro waise aap Mom aur Bua maa ko lekar ghar pe kya kar rahe ho? Rudra asked.
Are who Gauri kal hospital se wapas aa rahi hain isiliye thode preparations karne the. Omkara replied.
Chulbul bhabi wapas aa rahi hain? Hosh aa gaya unhe? Rudra sounded excited.
Nahi teri bhabi ko hosh nahi aaya. Omkara said with a heavy heart.
Toh phir?...
Omkara explained the whole situation to his younger sibling.
Yeh toh aapne bohot accha kiya bro. Bhabi ghar pe rahegi toh dekhna main jhaat se unhe thik kar dunga. Rudra replied.
Aur who kaise karega tu? Omkara enquired.
Areee bro Rudy boy ke charm se acchi acchi ladkia flat ho jati hain. Bhabi ko toh bas uthana hain. Rudra smirked.
Omkara glared at his brother.
Teri toh...ruk.
Areee bhai gussa kyun hote ho? Main Mom ko bulake lata hu. Rudra ran out of the room.
Pagal hain pura ka pura. Omkara smiled as he watched his brother run away.
Aur yeh tumhare sangat ka asar hain. Omkara said picking up Gauri's picture from the bedside table.
Bigaad ke rakh diya mere nalayak bhai ko. Chamcha ban chuka hain tumhara. Omkara laughed.
Jhanvi was standing near the doorway when she heard her son laugh. This was something so new to her. Omkara never shared his pain but as a mother Jhanvi knew that all his laughs since childhood were mostly fake. Today watching her son laugh truly and freely made her heart fill with joy. She knew what was this laugh for and she wished that Gauri came back soon. She had changed her son. She was the reason why her son was finally happy.
Praying to the Almighty for her son's and daughter-in-law's happiness and health Jhanvi entered the room.
Om tum ne mujhe bulaya? She asked.
Omkara turned around, a smile still lighting up his weary face.
Haan Mom. Mujhe Gauri ke yahan rehne ki pura intezaam karwana hain. She should not have any problem when she comes back. Jab tak who thik nahi ho jaati uska pura treatment issi ghar mein hoga. Omkara said in an authoritative voice.
Thik hain beta, main niche wala guest room khulwa kar saaf karwa ke rakhti hu. Jhanvi started going outside to prepare for Gauri's arrival.
Nahi Mom Gauri issi kamre mein rahegi. Omkara called his mother back.
Jhanvi was surprised.
Par beta is room mein kaise?
Mom Gauri isi room mein mere pass rahegi. Aap bas is room ka thoda sa renovation karne ka intezam ki jiye. Zyaada kuch nehi. Aap, mein, Rudra aur Bua Maa milke kamre ko thoda saaf karenge aur sajayenge bas.
Beta tumhe yeh sab karne ki kya zaroorat. Mein manager ko bol deti hu woh sab karwa denge. Jhanvi said to her son.
No Mom. Gauri ke liye mein sab kuch khud karna chahta hu. Aapne haatho se yeh karma sajakar use welcome karunga. Bas aap log thodi maddad kar dete toh accha hota. Omkara was determined to everything by himself for his wife.
Jhanvi was happier than she could ever express. Her son had finally started showing emotions. Finally he was opening up to people. He had started caring for someone who was not his family by birth. Her son was changing again and this time for the better.
Okay beta. Main abhi sab ko bulake lati hu. Jhanvi went away to inform others.
Omkara immediately started his work without waiting for others. First was the wardrobe. He took out Gauri's dresses one by one and arranged them back in proper colour sequence. He adjusted the stuffs carelessly lying around on the dressing table. Gauri's bangles, earrings and other trinkets. Suddenly something silver caught his attention. It was Gauri's vermillion box. Omkara picked up the small box. He could vividly remember how every morning after showering Gauri sat in front of the dressing table with her wet hair sprawled all over her face and back. Small droplets of water still falling through, wetting her suit a bit near her shoulder. She never seemed to notice. She would sit in front of the mirror, wear her mangalsutra, add a pinch of vermillion on her forehead like a sacred ritual and then walk away slowly without making any noise. She would always be careful enough not to wake up Omkara. But little did she know that every morning Omkara lay wide awake just pretending to sleep so that he could see his wife adorn herself everyday. It was Omkara's secret ritual that had started just on the morning after their second marriage and had continued from then, ever so silently.
Omkara put the box down in its place and busied himself in work again. He knew it was not the time to recollect memories and get emotional. He had to be strong for her, for himself.
As soon as Rudra and the others entered the room, Omkara started ordering them.
Rudra mere bed aur couch ke grey pillow covers nikal ke naaye colourful wale laga dena.
Mom aap bedsheet change karke kuch floral waale laga dijiye.
Buaa maa aap store room se who silver vase leke aayengi please?
Omkara went on and on ordering them to do stuff and working himself too. In two hours the room had totally been transformed. Not only Rudra, Jhanvi and Buaa Maa but also Omkara himself could not recognize the room. The dull grey-black-white room was decorated with an array of colours. From bedsheets to curtains everything was vibrant and colourful. The bedside table was decorated beautifully with a silver vase and a variety of different coloured roses. The room looked like an artist's canvas.
The only thing Omkara could not change was the wall colours so he covered most of the walls with his paintings. Only one white wall was left untouched.
Bro us wall ka kya karna hain. Rudra asked. He was panting hard. Omkara had made him do so much work that he would have to forget his gym for a week or so.
Woh dewaar Gauri jab thik ho jayegi then woh khud decorate karegi. Omkara replied.
Bhabi aur kya sajyenge bhai yeh karma toh unke jaisa hi lag raha hain. Rudra joked.
It was true. The room looked like Gauri's reflection. Colourful, bright and cheerful. Something that brought joy to anyone who came in close contact with it.
Wo...who toh bas isiliye kyuki Gauri ko colours pasand hain. Omkara fumbled as his cheeks heated up when he realized that his brother had understood his intentions.
Thik hi hain. Bhabi ke sangat mein aake aap bhi rangeele hote ja rahe ho. Rudra teased his brother and winked at him.
Mom I am getting late. Mujhe Gauri ke paas jana hain. Mein waha jaake Shivaay aur bhabi ko wapas bhej dunga. Omkara decided to ignore his brother this time.
Par Om tumne subah se kuch khaya nehi hain. Have something and then go. Jhanvi said.
Mom aap tension maat lo. Mein hospital mein kuch kha lunga. Saying this Omkara rushed out again to be near his best friend cum wife.

The next day:
Omkara had stayed back at the hospital for the whole night. He sent Anika and Shivaay back but had himself refused to leave Gauri's side. Anika had vehemently opposed the proposition and demanded to stay beside her sister. She had later half heartedly complied to Shivvay's repeated requests but before leaving the hospital had WARNED Omkara of the dire consequences if something happened to her sister.
The next morning Omkara had started throwing tantrums from the daybreak. He had refused to leave Gauri's side and had to be pushed out of the cabin by some male nurses as it was time for Gauri's check up.
Shivaay was surprised and irritated at his brother's childish antics. Out of them three Omkara was supposedly the most calm and rational one but his antics in the hospital proved just the opposite.
Omkara had been continuously pestering the doctors about when his wife would be discharged and had shouted once at the receptionist threatening her to sue the entire hospital because of the delayed process.
OMKARA SHUT UP!!!! Shivaay shouted not being able to take in any more.
Even he was tensed but it seemed like Om had gone crazy.
Shivaaay tum samajh nahi rahe. They are not discharging her on purpose. These people are so lazy Shivaay. Agar inki la parwahi ki wajase gauri ko kuch ho gaya toh...
GAURI KO KUCH HO NA HO OM IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP I WILL NOT LET YOU MEET HER EVER!!!!
Shuvaay's warning did the job. For the rest of the time Omkara quietly sat near Gauri's bed murmuring something in her ears. Most probably complaining about the hospital and Shivaay.
When time had finally come for Gauri's discharge the whole hospital and Shivaay sighed in relief.

Hi this is the 6th part. I am planning to complete this story in 10 parts so don't worry Gauri will wake up soon enough. This story is mainly about Omkara's repentance and the realization of his love for Gauri. I hope you are liking it.
