Honestly, Shivika fighting like an old married couple is the highlight for me. I feel like we are touching some interesting Shivika dynamics. The whole equal partners thing is something alot of relationship should have, and it's nice to see that Annika balanced Shivaay. After all, we were told that in every relationship Shivaay has ever been in, he always called the shots, Mallika even said this and we see it visibly with Tia. Annika is the first girl Shivaay has to actually compromise with, someone he has to bend toward.
Also, I can't wait to see that conversation where Shivaay learns Annika is digging around Mahi. The hypocrisy of Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi. I can't wait... 😈
It is going to be interesting to see what his reaction will be unless the truth comes out some other way - that is not through Annika but another discovery made by Shivvay
Really, Pinky needs to stop. While I am grateful we are not seeing Annika directly insulted, Pinky is not making herself likable. I still don't hate Pinky, but I'm not seeing what she stands to gain. Shivaay knows Pinky doesn't like Annika. Won't this just create distance between mother-son? Sigh... Why are you digging your own grave.
Unfortunately Jealousy and Envy do not make very sound partners for Common Sense and hence Pinky is completely blinded by both to see what is right before her eyes.
She has failed to notice that while she has been scheming and plotting her son has undergone some major changes right before her very eyes.
He has metamorphosed from a dull sloth-like content caterpillar, who was wrapped up from childhood in the "Naam, Khoon, Khandaan' cocoon that she had woven around him and has broken free from that comfortable and small cocoon, which used to be his whole world and his understanding of it, to fly free.
Thanks to the rays of the warm and bright sun (Annika) that has managed to penetrate that cocoon, he has been lured by that warmth and light to break free and turn into this beautiful butterfly who now wants to spread his wings and experience what real life is under that warm comforting sunlight.
