I don't know if Pinky ever truly loved her son or even bothered to try and explore that side of their relationship. I think she was most concerned since his early boyhood days to ensure that her son succeeded as heir apparent only to show Tej down.
The fact that she is so clueless about her son and what he is capable of (Tia's pregnancy) was the wake up call for Shivvay.
As for Annika hurting i would not worry about that too much as it would be of concern only if the hurt was one sided. Shivvay is in greater anguish from what I can see than Annika will be. It is he who has more to lose no matter how he decides and this whole phase is about him losing his 'Oberoi-ness' and discovering who 'Shivvay' is and can be inspite of not having his identity as an Oberoi and who better to teach him how to do that than his very fiercely independent wife - Annika

Yup! I did say that in one of the earlier analysis and that is why she calls it the biggest mistake of her life. She picked the healthy son but he did not prove to have the 'Oberoi' smarts whereas the sickly one ended up becoming the sharp and successful Oberoi Heir.

Worry not, Shivaay, if you lose your identity for Annika, you'll always be able to create yourself anew. Time heals all wounds, as such. As long as your better half stands beside you, you'll be fine. I have faith.

Honestly, coming to Pinky, I still don't hate her. Despite her selfishness, there is part of me that still likes her character. My reason being that I loved Pinky when she exposed Roop. That has a special place in my heart. However Pinky is totally being Subhadra Devi/Dadi, from IPKKND. Dadi also tried to break Arshi like Pinky is trying with Shivika. However Dadi failed miserably and only ended bring Arshi closer together. Pinky is about to do the same thing. Pinky is going to throw the ultimatum and in the end Shivaay will choose Annika over NKK, just like Arnav chose Khushi over his past.

Pinky was never shown to build up the character of Shivaaay or sacrificing her 'O My Mataaas' for a moment; i just don't know why CVs are hell bent to portray Pinky obnoxious enough to snatch away all the credits when she did nothing throughout the series besides exclaiming stupidly!!

Right now she is just driven by envy and jealousy and that makes her delusional. As for the CV's - no comments lol

There is no doubt that Pinky is acting ridiculously Pagal Khatoon. She misunderstood Anika to be the cause of getting ignored by her Heera Beta. She forgot that this very own son of hers was never Oh So Loving with her even when Anika was no where around Shivaay. Ofcouse he respected her as a mother but the way she has started acting recently feels like Shivaay's mornings used to start with seeing Pinky Maata's face and he ended his day in Pinky Rani's Charun! Huh! Khushfehmiya logon ki.

Actually in a sense it is good that Shivaay will realise his love for Anika not because of any outsider, villain but his mumeyh will be the one to change him. Barri Ayin Dukhti Rug!

I think today's episode went a long way in defining the line of ShivIka relationship. Shivaay made it very clear that NKK is his identity and by the dialogues of Anika in flashbacks it is also very much clear that he feels Anika is his LIFE. Now he has to think about choosing one because till now the truth had not been defined in his mind. He has said it multiple times that NKK is what matters to him but his priorities changed that made him forget that to him NKK is not just a self made belief.

He has never been in such dilemma but Shivaay Baby this is the reality you were trying to avoid and even though I hate CVs for using Pinky the one triggering the NKK keera in Shivaay but this was to happen and Shivaay for this time will have to follow his heart instead of his mind.

Yep! Mr. Oberoi is in for a lot of soul searching for the next few weeks.

Given we are just starting to get some perspective into Shivaay's thinking, I hope he gets a flashback of Mallika telling him that he would be a "gadha" if he let go of someone who can make him smile, enjoy the rain etc. just for the sake of naam/khoon/khandaan! 😆
