As for the 'unworthy outsider' - in her case, the over zealous mother has done HER a huge favour by shoving this in her sons face. Facing this truth would have been buried under Family problems, issues and other priorities that always seem to surround this couple had the mother not brought it to the fore. The 'outsider' would never have broached the topic with the fear of her bubble of happiness bursting and her son would have preferred to leave it to be addressed at a future date.

She is definitely going to be trapped in her own web of deceit. Till now she has not understood that Shivaay will never let anyone come b/w him and Anika.
She knows that Annika means more than his own life to Shivvay but chooses to ignore it in her envy and jealousy. She keeps playing the 'I am your mother' card to blackmail him emotionally and make him feel obliged to give her more importance than Annika. She is banking on that card and using it too often.

This is not going to end well for Pinky. She is going to lose her son forever.
This can go down in 2 ways.
1. Anika leaves and doesn't come back and Shivaay goes crazy without her and finally there is a showdown with his mother,which I think is long overdue
Don't know about the showdown between Shivvay and Pinky but I know Annika leaves for a full 1/2 day or something. This man goes berserk, hunts her down and asks her to come back home after a very amusing showdown happens between the two with the whole chawl watching... lol

2. Shivaay again stands for Anika and showdown with his mom.Maybe he will be only "Shivaay".
He may never become just Shivvay but he accepts that she is just Annika. The only thing that bugs Annika is that she feels it is not a complete acceptance and he has done it out of a sense of responsibility as a husband. Hence she leaves or something which is good in a way.

Chances of first option happening r very less bcos Shivaay will NEVER let Anika go. She is too ingrained in him. He will cease to exist without her. She is the only person who is totally "his".

I hope CVs handle this track well.
I am still confused about Mahi. Is he going to be used to break this NKK? I think yes.But what does it mean in the long run.Nakuul cant keep playing double role.
Jo bhi ho.I want a big showdown b/w Pinky and Shivaay.Pinky's beliefs need to shatter.She needs to know y her son has always been distant with her.
I feel Mahi will not leave this soon. There is a reason that the CV's have created the character but I too am unsure about how it will play out after this whole - who he is is revealed.

I'm glad Shivaay sees right through Pinky's game plan. He's never been one who likes being tied to anyone's pallu. Let alone his mother's.

He loves and respects his mother but that does not make him blind to who she is. He did tell Om often that she only cares about the money and status his marriage will bring in - not what is good for him and his happiness. So it is very clear that he has no illusions whatsoever of who his mother really is. That is why losing Annika is the most scary prospect for the man who has at last found a woman who loves him only for who hi is - Good, wicked, bad and ugly.
Annika demands nothing from him, accepts him the way he is, supports his weaknesses and is his strength. Adoring her and placing her above all must come very naturally to this man unlike what he feels for his mother - obligation.

Also, I LOVE what you said about him having to set Anika free if his NKK hang up is too strong. We all know how that'll go 😆. I actually had this thought of Shivaay handcuffing Anika to him after she leaves for Chandu's house and he brings her back 🤣
I know we are not supposed to mention DBO or make any comparisons but I think they may let this one slip thru...lol
When Kali Thakur had Gauri in chains he did remaind me a lot of what Shivvay did to Annika. The only difference is that KT is a disgusting low life just they way he looks at a woman whereas Shivvay never ever looked at any woman the way Kali does - a gentleman through and through in that respect at least. And yes I completely agree that the man will not shy away from another chase and hunt if he has to capture his very elusive and nimble wife again and handcuff her to him if needs be 🤣

Nevertheless, this time, CVs have given the choice to Shivaay. In another track, about her past I hope the choice lies with Anika. Like everything else, they need to balance it out, too. Otherwise, I'll be sorely disappointed.
When Annika's past reveals as joined to Shivvay's that will be the day Annika will be given the chance to make her choice. It has to balance out or there is no story then
