I feel like many are being far too negative about this entire situation. I feel as though we should look at this situation from his point of view. Because what Mahi has done has its justification.

From what we know, Mahi is trying to pretend to be Shivaay because he's trying to save himself. Thats not exactly wrong. Kamini and co are still conspiring against the Oberois. So Mahi trying to blend in would make sense.

As for coming to hold her hand, Mahi is just playing the part. No doubt if he started acting suspicious, Annika would catch on and his game would flop. Just because Mahi held her hand, doesn't mean it meant something to him.

You guys have to remember, Mahi may not be a kameena, but he's still a villain at this point. His actions would be to continue the plan, just get the hell out of there, or replace Shivaay because he doesn't like his own life.

But this is just my take on it. Personally I don't have a problem with the scene because there was nothing romantic about it.

100% agreed!!😆 I honestly wonder how long he thought this would go on for? Jaata kya hai voh?? Let Shivaay be imprisoned, and then what?? He's just delaying the inevitable ??🤪

I absolutely agree with you. More than characterization, it was the demand of the script, yaar.

Imagine if he'd hesitated. Audiences would immediately know it's Mahi, only and the impact of Anika's sudden realization would have gone down by SO much.

So it was done only because dramatic effect constituted it. It was needed at the point.

Also, it's just a hand touch yaar. What's the big deal? He's still majorly annoyed by her, as we saw during his self-monologue. 😆

He has to touch her hand so that she can feel the difference n run like aishwarya in hum dil dichuke movie. It's the demand of skript, he has no feeling for anika, no love, no hate. Just annoyed by her, that scene doesn't make him bad in any way😆

I think ppl are more afraid that move might mean Mahi is ready to play Shivaay fully. He was giving her prasad, you dont need to touch someone's hand to give them prasad. It can be placed in the hand without touching.

Mahi showed no hesitation touching her. He was fussing over not wanting to apply some color on Anika's face. That hand hold seems more intimate compared to having to (quickly) apply some colours on the face. Also he touched her in front of the mandap ... Mahi believes in god, yet again no hesitation.

CVs want to mess with our brains 😆😆 I can see it was probably done more for the script.

What they could have done was something falls onto the floor ... either Mahi/Anika drop something or bump into something that falls. The both bend down and heads clash. That could have had the same dramatic effect. Real Shivaay would know to bump heads twice :p

@bold agree lol... thanks to this hum lil touch we got some amazing and proper FB which make me feel good at least she get used to his touch.😆

@underline right and even while complimenting her his eyes reflecting anger and annoyance lol... no worry guys ... let concentrate on Shivaay's Amazing Dard 😉

the thing is he wanted to stop the plan and leave didn't he??

so why continue now ??? and why like this ??? & that too by touching Annika's hand??

I'm not saying that he might actually want annika or love her for that matter ... all i think is he's turning blacker ...specially towards SSO

his desire to be loved and respected is making him cross his own limits ... and not just toward annika, now he can literaly hurt anyone ... specially SSO

all the time, mahi was the most causious person around annika ... but his impulsive act today was a sign of him willing to cross every line to become SSO

no matter what it is, they better show a good closure to this track ... to mahi
