Drabble-4 : "Aankhon mein humko utarne do zara"

"Look at me Anika!" He said cupping her face looking deeply into her eyes. Anika turned at once, lest she should be lost in him again.

She had decided to keep distance from him ever since their recent encounters. Her plan was simple, don't look at him in the eye and avoid deep talks and the situation would be in control.

Her defense system had activated at his words, and she had quickly turned the topic.

But he meant seroius business. He was finally opening his feelings in front of her and here she was busy fooling around with words. Great, she doesn't even meet my eyes, he thought as his body tensed up in anger, in need ,in impatience or in all..?? He was himself confused. He held her face turning it towards him, waiting for her eyes to meet his green ones.

She looked up at his eyes and she feared loosing herself in them Again! So she quickly turned towards the platform in haste.

His jaw clenched, and he held her right elbow by his right hand and jerked her closer to himself.

In the clumsiness of the moment her left hand knocked down the plate on the platform. Shocked she looked at it as her body collided against his. His chin rested on her right shoulder and he inhaled the scent of her shampooed hair.

Did she know she could kill him with almost nothing??

Breathing heavily she pulls away to see his face. Her eyes involuntarily rest on his parting lips as she hears his sharp breath.While his hand gently works to clear the hair strands off her slightly heated face.

She din't care for those strands that had been pasted to her face. His lips had an affect on her that she was unknown to. She felt her body temperature rise up,as she looked intoxicatedly at his lips. She felt a soft tingling sensation as his fingers gently brushed off the hair over her face, clearing his view. He saw her eyes looking down at his lips.

Mentally kicking herself for staring at him like that ,like insane. She moved her eyes up to his.

Her breath hitched as she saw that glint yet again in his eyes. That glint that undid her senses in a bit. Worse, she heard him inhale an audibly long breath.

Finally their eyes met and their gaze melted in each others.

Today their eyes spoke of what both din't understand.

This one became a little more cheesy...😆
